I did a lot of research into care homes catering for Parkinson's and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Wonderful location with a tranquil garden and lovely views. All the staff and management team are genuinely lovely, kind and caring. Certainly not the cheapest, but worth going that little
bit further on cost for peace of mind. I only wish Mum could have enjoyed a longer stay. Thank you to the whole team.

Cooperscroft Care Home has cared for my husband with support, kindness and excellent nursing care over the last fifteen months. Sadly, my husband passed away a short while ago but we have special, fond memories of spending precious time with him over the last few months of his life knowing he was so

Although my mum was only with Cooperscroft Care Home for a short time, I have a very positive view of the care home from what I experienced and witnessed. The quality of care from the carers and nurses was very high and my mum was treated very well by staff members.
I found the staff very knowledgeable
about my mum and was always one step ahead of my concerns and suggestions. I'm very thankful my mum was at Cooperscroft during her last few weeks.

When Dad came here in June 2021 he was given one week to live - here we are at the end of October and he is showing no sign of leaving us. Thank you so much for this, it is all due to everyone at Coopperscroft Care Home. The help I have had from all the staff has been exceptional.

Over the three years that my mother lived at Cooperscroft, the team at this care home has always provided first-class love, care, devotion and medical attention towards her.
The staff have been highly supportive in providing a wide range of activities for Mum, notably art classes which led to Mum exhibiting
locally (amazing, considering the Parkinson's that Mum suffered from.)
Mum's medical challenges were always fully supported and a while ago the staff were able to nurse Mum back from palliative care.
Visits from Mum's family and friends have always been strongly encouraged.
Sadly, Mum passed away a short while ago but the fond memories of Mum's twilight years at Cooperscroft with all her friends there, will not be forgotten.

My mother was admitted to Cooperscroft on a six-week placement, with a diagnosis of delirium as the result of an infection. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with kindness, dignity, and respect by every staff member. The level of care she has received has been exemplary, with every medical,
physical, and emotional need being met.
The quality and quantity of the meals provided is excellent, and she has thoroughly enjoyed taking part in activities such as painting and making cakes, and socialising with members of staff and other residents.
As a visiting relative, I have at all times found the staff to be extremely friendly, patient, and helpful.
My Mother has been treated with love and care at all times, and I know that she will miss all the members of her care team when she returns home. She has expressed a wish to return there should the need arise in the future, and as her daughter, I know that I would have complete peace of mind regarding her welfare if she did.

From the moment she arrived, Cooperscroft has been a truly wonderful home for our mother and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for the very best care for their loved one. Every team member always shows great expertise in managing her late-stage Huntington's Disease with empathy and respect for
her wellbeing and dignity. They also continually engage and communicate with us to ensure we are well informed at all times.
We had to find a residential home at very short notice, and will always be extremely grateful for the amazing responsiveness and support we received from the Cooperscroft team to make this happen so quickly and smoothly. To remember that our mother's initial months in residence have happened during the incredibly difficult circumstances created by Covid-19 is a further testament to the team's excellence. I have just had the most heartwarming virtual lunch experience with my husband.
It was arranged by the well-being team leader who did a brilliant job of coordinating my daughter and me at home, and my husband sitting at a beautifully laid table in the cinema eating his favourite meal.
It was probably
the best experience that I have had in the last ten difficult months.
It seemed just like a normal meal with conversation and good food, and we all three really enjoyed this new experience.

My husband came to the home just at the beginning of the pandemic when none of us knew what lies ahead. He has stayed at the home for several months and the level of care was beyond what we could have wished for, it is truly outstanding. I can't thank every member of the team enough for their hard work
each and every day. The staff are reliable, trustworthy, patient, encouraging and very kind. Cooperscroft is a happy home with a family atmosphere, and I have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone who is looking for a care home.

We couldn't have picked a better home for our Mum, who has been a resident here for the past couple of years. It really has a lovely homely atmosphere and the staff really care about the residents and their wellbeing. They really go the extra mile to make every single day special for their residents.
Not being able to see Mum has been very difficult during the Covid-19 outbreak, but knowing Mum is at Cooperscroft and continuing to receive excellent care has been so reassuring. Communication during this time has been excellent, with daily updates about what all the residents have been up to, photos and posts on Facebook and more recently window and garden visits. During the last few months, I have not only missed being able to see my Mum but also missed going to the home, because it is always such a lovely, happy, cosy place to be. Would definitely recommend Cooperscroft to anyone looking for the best care option.

On the 29th of June, it was our 63rd wedding anniversary and my daughter and I had a window visit with my husband. The Wellbeing staff had decorated the window with a banner and photographs of our wedding day. They had also arranged for a present and card for my husband to give to me. The next day
there were pictures of him on Facebook wearing my present.
I can't thank them enough for making it a lovely day despite this difficult time.
The rest of the residents are also kept busy with all the activities they arrange.
I am very lucky that my husband is in such a wonderful home.

I have been most impressed with how this nursing home is run, from the past few years when my mother had a few respite stays to her currently receiving full nursing care today. During the past three weeks as we have entered into the COVID-19 world pandemic, I have been grateful to the stringent hygiene
and limited visiting measures taken by the home management. It has been a wise way to allow relatives to finally adjust to the limiting of all non-essential visits. Though this will be difficult I feel completely at ease that my mother will be well cared for. Thank you Cooperscroft.

All of the staff have been very helpful. This includes the maintenance man. The nurses and doctors have been extremely kind to the resident, and have ensured that she will be looked after and regularly checked. The food that she has been served with is always nice and with appropriate portions. The

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

I have previously managed care homes in Surrey and London under TLC Care. Caring has always been at the heart of who I am, and I wanted to channel that passion into my professional life. After completing my Bachelor’s in Nursing in India (2007) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Management from West London College (2010), I began my UK career as a Senior Health Care Assistant while continuing my studies.


Driven by a strong interest in the public health sector, I completed my Master’s in Public Health from BEDS University in 2020.


Over the years, I progressed through a variety of leadership roles, including Unit Manager, Care Services Manager, Regional Care Support Manager, and Quality Improvement Manager for TLC Care. In 2021, I was appointed Home Manager at Camberley Manor Care Home in Surrey, before moving to Candlewood House Care Home in July 2022, and currently leading as Home Manager at Cooperscroft Care Home.


I am deeply passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting our elderly residents. It is a privilege to guide and inspire the team at Cooperscroft Care Home on its journey toward achieving an outstanding standard of care.

I am Kathlyn Raguro, holding a double degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the Philippines. My 10-year journey has been marked by a series of elevations through the levels of ultra-luxury hotels, including the esteemed Shangri-la Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, One and Only Hotels and Resorts by Kerzner, and recently - Qasr al Sarab Luxury Desert Resort by Anantara.


Starting as a Guest Relations Officer, I swiftly ascended to supervisory roles, eventually becoming an Assistant Guest Relations Manager, and most recently, a Guest Experience Manager at Anantara Luxury Resort. I have always held integrity and passion as my guiding principles. These values have been the cornerstone of my success and personal growth within the industry.


As I step into the role of Hotel Services Manager at CoopersCroft, I am eager to lead our team towards unparalleled success, ensuring that the exemplary service CoopersCroft is renowned for is not just maintained, but elevated to new heights. With a shared vision of excellence and commitment, I am very much excited to embark on this new journey with my team

I have worked at Cooperscroft Care Home for 12 years, gaining experience across several departments. This has given me a strong understanding of what makes Cooperscroft such an exceptional place to live and work.

With 26 years of experience in the care sector, I began my career as a care assistant, where I developed a deep understanding of the needs and challenges our residents face. I went on to become a Team Leader, then an Admin Assistant, before moving into my current role as Business Development Manager.

My time at Cooperscroft has shown me the importance of teamwork, compassion and consistency in delivering high-quality care. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents, and I am proud to work alongside a team that shares this commitment. Together, we strive to ensure every resident receives the care, respect and attention they deserve.

Oshi Dissanayake

I completed my HND in Business Management in the UK. Also, I have completed a Software engineering Diploma and Finance & Business Administration Diploma in Sri Lanka.


I have worked across a number of industries in various roles. I started my carrier as a Business Development Manager at one of the Prestigious multinational companies in Sri Lanka.


Since I moved to the UK I have worked as a Team Leader and as an IT consultant for Thames Water PLC.


I joined Cooperscroft as an Admin Assistant and then was promoted to HR & Finance Manager.


It’s a completely new venture for me and I do learn the real values of Truth, Love, and Compassion each day at work.

Sam Brett

Job Title: Practice Development Lead Joined: 2025

I graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2014 in Australia and began my career in respiratory nursing. I later transitioned to work as a sister in an Adult & Pediatric A&E. In 2019, I ventured into nursing education, teaching at various universities and providing training for staff on the Coronary Care Unit. During the COVID pandemic, I completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing to further enhance my skills. After moving to the UK, I worked with a private training company, where I taught a variety of courses, including Basic, Immediate, Pediatric and Advanced Life Support, Anaphylaxis, Tracheotomy Management, and Moving & Handling. In January 2025, I joined TLC to continue my passion for nursing education and training.
