My mum was moved to Cooperscroft on 28th December 2023. The community development manager and all the management team have been fantastic from the moment Mum came through the door. We have been made to feel welcome and part of a family. The caring team have helped us with all medical appointments and no question was silly! Moving my mum here was the best decision we made.

My mother moved into Cooperscroft Care Home when I was unable to care for her at home anymore. She was fiercely independent, drily witty with an abundance of character, which could be challenging on occasions. The staff at Cooperscroft cared for her with respect and dignity. If they hadn't, she would have said! I had peace of mind knowing that she was being looked after by kind professionals. Unfortunately, Mum was not well enough to participate in the activities provided and so I cannot comment on those but I was always impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere whenever I visited. I have no hesitation in recommending Cooperscroft and I would like to thank them for caring for my mother in the final months of her 101 years of life.
Thank you for your feedback. Our team will be pleased to know they do an excellent job and we appreciate your gratitude and support.

Cooperscroft care home has proved to be an excellent choice. From the friendly advice and help received arranging a placement, making what could have been a stressful process easy and relaxing. To the exceptional daily care and friendship given all of the staff couldn't be kinder. The rooms and the meals are nicer than many hotels. I as a daily visitor am welcomed and looked after myself. In my opinion, I do not think you could find more friendly, dignified and genuine care.
Dear Neil, thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely and kind review. Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents.
In the few weeks, my friend was here, I visited several times. Every visit was a delight. The staff of the home radiates love, care and professionalism with high-quality care and attention. Highly recommended!

Mum has been a resident for twenty-two months. She is treated with care, respect and dignity. Her medical needs are met. Staff are friendly and supportive (e.g. during the Covid pandemic). Staff helped our family celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Thank you. "All good".

My sister is as happy as can be under the circumstances. She was responsive and smiling. As I left she needed some personal care which was seen to immediately and with a smile from the carers. I am truly grateful for their care and treatment of my sister.

All the staff and management team are genuinely lovely, kind and caring. Certainly not the cheapest, but worth going that little bit further on cost for peace of mind. I only wish Mum could have enjoyed a longer stay. Thank you to the whole team.

Sadly, my husband passed away a short while ago but we have special, fond memories of spending precious time with him over the last few months of his life knowing he was so well cared for. I have previously managed care homes in Surrey and London under TLC Care. Caring has always been at the heart of who I am, and I wanted to channel that passion into my professional life. After completing my Bachelor’s in Nursing in India (2007) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Management from West London College (2010), I began my UK career as a Senior Health Care Assistant while continuing my studies.
Driven by a strong interest in the public health sector, I completed my Master’s in Public Health from BEDS University in 2020.
Over the years, I progressed through a variety of leadership roles, including Unit Manager, Care Services Manager, Regional Care Support Manager, and Quality Improvement Manager for TLC Care. In 2021, I was appointed Home Manager at Camberley Manor Care Home in Surrey, before moving to Candlewood House Care Home in July 2022, and currently leading as Home Manager at Cooperscroft Care Home.
I am deeply passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting our elderly residents. It is a privilege to guide and inspire the team at Cooperscroft Care Home on its journey toward achieving an outstanding standard of care.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in Nigeria, where the majority of my experience was in occupational health nursing. I later progressed to become a Public Health Nurse and am currently concluding a Master’s in International Public Health in the UK.My UK journey began in a care home, where I worked as an adult nurse and developed strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of elderly care. After two years, I was promoted to Deputy Manager, gaining valuable experience in operations, leadership, and team development.
In 2025, I joined TLC Care as Practice Development Lead at Karuna Manor Care Home. Although my background wasn’t in education, I’ve always had a passion for teaching and supporting others. Between 2018 and 2022, I worked part-time as a Basic Life Support instructor in Nigeria, training healthcare professionals in CPR and resuscitation, a role that shaped my commitment to knowledge-sharing and confidence-building.
Now, as Care Services Manager at Cooperscroft Care Home, I lead with a focus on quality, compassion, and continuous improvement. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for our team members, and to maintaining an outstanding home for our residents, guided by TLC’s values of Truth, Love, and Compassion.

My time at Cooperscroft has shown me the importance of teamwork, compassion and consistency in delivering high-quality care. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents, and I am proud to work alongside a team that shares this commitment. I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Management from the United Kingdom, along with Diplomas in Software Engineering and Finance & Business Administration from Sri Lanka.
My career has spanned a variety of industries, giving me a broad range of experience in business development, technology, human resources, and finance. I began my professional journey as a Business Development Manager with one of Sri Lanka's leading multinational companies before relocating to the UK. In the UK, I worked as a Team Leader and later as an IT Consultant with Thames Water PLC, where I further developed my leadership, analytical, and customer-focused skills.
I joined TLC Cooperscroft as an Administrative Assistant and was subsequently promoted to HR & Finance Manager. This role has provided me with the opportunity to combine my passion for people, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting both the team and the organisation's objectives. Working in the care sector has been an inspiring and rewarding experience. Every day reinforces the importance of TLC Cooperscroft’ s core values of Truth, Love, and Compassion, which guide everything we do. I am proud to contribute to creating a positive, supportive environment for our residents, their families, and our dedicated team members.

Working in care has been a completely new and incredibly rewarding chapter in my career. I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness and support can make a big difference. Every day, I learn the true meaning of compassion, kindness, and teamwork.

I joined TLC Cooperscroft 3 years ago as the Maintenance Manager, bringing with me valuable experience from my previous role with a property developer. It was there that I developed many of the practical skills and knowledge needed to maintain a care home to a high standard, ensuring it is not only safe and well maintained but also a comfortable and welcoming place for residents to call home.
Since joining the team, I have had the opportunity to build on those skills and continue my professional development.
Working in a care home is unlike any other maintenance role. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s responding to unexpected repairs, planning preventative maintenance, supporting colleagues, or finding ways to improve the environment for our residents. The variety of the role means there is never a dull moment, and I enjoy the problem-solving and teamwork that comes with it.

I hold two master’s degrees: a master’s in international business from the UK and a master’s in business administration, specialising in Finance and Marketing from India. I previously worked as an assistant sales manager in India. In December 2024, I joined TLC Care as a Customer Service Supervisor at TLC Cooperscroft Care Home.
I truly enjoy working with our residents and their families, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and the highest standard of hospitality and care. Also being an engagement champion, I enjoy creating a positive and fun environment for the team.
Building meaningful relationships and helping others has always been my passion, both in my previous role and at TLC. I strongly believe in TLC’s core values of Truth, Love, and Compassion, and I strive to reflect these values in everything I do.
