Over the three years that my mother lived at Cooperscroft, the team at this care home has always provided first-class love, care, devotion and medical attention towards her.
The staff have been highly supportive in providing a wide range of activities for Mum, notably art classes which led to Mum exhibiting locally (amazing, considering the Parkinson's that Mum suffered from.)
Mum's medical challenges were always fully supported and a while ago the staff were able to nurse Mum back from palliative care.
Visits from Mum's family and friends have always been strongly encouraged.

Sadly, Mum passed away a short while ago but the fond memories of Mum's twilight years at Cooperscroft with all her friends there, will not be forgotten.

Thank you as always for showing your appreciation and thanks to our Cooperscroft team. As you know your Mother was a long-standing and important member of the Cooperscroft family and everyone had their own relationship with her. We remember her fondly and we still miss her. I found my month's stay at Cooperscroft very helpful, the staff including management were all excellent! Kind and considerate and did everything they all could to make our stay everything we could hope for. I will be leaving here with a sad heart as all the staff including management became friends and I will miss them all! God bless with your success.

Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is found for a vegetarian who does not eat cheese. Atmosphere is pleasant. Staff nurses are experienced and can deal with medical matters referring to a doctor if necessary.

My mother was admitted to Cooperscroft on a six-week placement, with a diagnosis of delirium as the result of an infection. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with kindness, dignity, and respect by every staff member. The level of care she has received has been exemplary, with every medical, physical, and emotional need being met.
The quality and quantity of the meals provided is excellent, and she has thoroughly enjoyed taking part in activities such as painting and making cakes, and socialising with members of staff and other residents.
As a visiting relative, I have at all times found the staff to be extremely friendly, patient, and helpful.

My Mother has been treated with love and care at all times, and I know that she will miss all the members of her care team when she returns home. She has expressed a wish to return there should the need arise in the future, and as her daughter, I know that I would have complete peace of mind regarding her welfare if she did.

We are always willing and happy to support families who find themselves in difficult situations and your mum's case was exactly that and with you not living close she really needed somewhere safe to stay. From the moment she arrived, Cooperscroft has been a truly wonderful home for our mother and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for the very best care for their loved one. Every team member always shows great expertise in managing her late-stage Huntington's Disease with empathy and respect for her wellbeing and dignity. They also continually engage and communicate with us to ensure we are well informed at all times.

We had to find a residential home at very short notice, and will always be extremely grateful for the amazing responsiveness and support we received from the Cooperscroft team to make this happen so quickly and smoothly. To remember that our mother's initial months in residence have happened during the incredibly difficult circumstances created by Covid-19 is a further testament to the team's excellence. They have maintained the highest standards of care, hygiene and compassion throughout, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone.

I have just had the most heartwarming virtual lunch experience with my husband.
It was arranged by the well-being team leader who did a brilliant job of coordinating my daughter and me at home, and my husband sitting at a beautifully laid table in the cinema eating his favourite meal.
It was probably the best experience that I have had in the last ten difficult months.
It seemed just like a normal meal with conversation and good food, and we all three really enjoyed this new experience.

Thank you so much, Cooperscroft, for arranging this for us, and for the wonderful way you look after him (and me).

My husband came to the home just at the beginning of the pandemic when none of us knew what lies ahead. He has stayed at the home for several months and the level of care was beyond what we could have wished for, it is truly outstanding. I can't thank every member of the team enough for their hard work each and every day. The staff are reliable, trustworthy, patient, encouraging and very kind. Cooperscroft is a happy home with a family atmosphere, and I have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone who is looking for a care home.

We couldn't have picked a better home for our Mum, who has been a resident here for the past couple of years. It really has a lovely homely atmosphere and the staff really care about the residents and their wellbeing. They really go the extra mile to make every single day special for their residents. Not being able to see Mum has been very difficult during the Covid-19 outbreak, but knowing Mum is at Cooperscroft and continuing to receive excellent care has been so reassuring. Communication during this time has been excellent, with daily updates about what all the residents have been up to, photos and posts on Facebook and more recently window and garden visits. During the last few months, I have not only missed being able to see my Mum but also missed going to the home, because it is always such a lovely, happy, cosy place to be. Would definitely recommend Cooperscroft to anyone looking for the best care option.

On the 29th of June, it was our 63rd wedding anniversary and my daughter and I had a window visit with my husband. The Wellbeing staff had decorated the window with a banner and photographs of our wedding day. They had also arranged for a present and card for my husband to give to me. The next day there were pictures of him on Facebook wearing my present.
I can't thank them enough for making it a lovely day despite this difficult time.
The rest of the residents are also kept busy with all the activities they arrange.

I am very lucky that my husband is in such a wonderful home.

I have been most impressed with how this nursing home is run, from the past few years when my mother had a few respite stays to her currently receiving full nursing care today. During the past three weeks as we have entered into the COVID-19 world pandemic, I have been grateful to the stringent hygiene and limited visiting measures taken by the home management. It has been a wise way to allow relatives to finally adjust to the limiting of all non-essential visits. Though this will be difficult I feel completely at ease that my mother will be well cared for. Thank you Cooperscroft.

My husband came to Cooperscroft after a serious fall when he lost mobility, self-sufficiency with meals and articulation. He just wanted to sleep!

I have previously managed care homes in Surrey and London under TLC Care. Caring has always been at the heart of who I am, and I wanted to channel that passion into my professional life. After completing my Bachelor’s in Nursing in India (2007) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Management from West London College (2010), I began my UK career as a Senior Health Care Assistant while continuing my studies.

Driven by a strong interest in the public health sector, I completed my Master’s in Public Health from BEDS University in 2020.

Over the years, I progressed through a variety of leadership roles, including Unit Manager, Care Services Manager, Regional Care Support Manager, and Quality Improvement Manager for TLC Care. In 2021, I was appointed Home Manager at Camberley Manor Care Home in Surrey, before moving to Candlewood House Care Home in July 2022, and currently leading as Home Manager at Cooperscroft Care Home.

I am deeply passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting our elderly residents. It is a privilege to guide and inspire the team at Cooperscroft Care Home on its journey toward achieving an outstanding standard of care.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in Nigeria, where the majority of my experience was in occupational health nursing. I later progressed to become a Public Health Nurse and am currently concluding a Master’s in International Public Health in the UK.

My UK journey began in a care home, where I worked as an adult nurse and developed strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of elderly care. After two years, I was promoted to Deputy Manager, gaining valuable experience in operations, leadership, and team development.

In 2025, I joined TLC Care as Practice Development Lead at Karuna Manor Care Home. Although my background wasn’t in education, I’ve always had a passion for teaching and supporting others. Between 2018 and 2022, I worked part-time as a Basic Life Support instructor in Nigeria, training healthcare professionals in CPR and resuscitation, a role that shaped my commitment to knowledge-sharing and confidence-building.

Now, as Care Services Manager at Cooperscroft Care Home, I lead with a focus on quality, compassion, and continuous improvement. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for our team members, and to maintaining an outstanding home for our residents, guided by TLC’s values of Truth, Love, and Compassion.
