My father has only been in the care home for a few weeks. He has settled well in his surroundings. The staff are so caring; they go the "extra mile" to make his stay as homely as possible. They support him and show dignity at all times. The management staff are very supportive, always there to help
and answer any questions you may have.

The care at this home has been excellent. As I am unable to stand or walk at all, (I have Spinabifida), I have needed considerable help. The carers have had to put me on the toilet and clean me afterwards. They have helped me to maintain my dignity.
I cannot thank them enough.

My mum was admitted for only 3 weeks of respite care but our experience was most pleasing with the staff especially kind, considerate and professional, a massive thanks to all concerned! If Heath Lodge was close to our family we would have certainly considered permanent residence.

Everyone is so friendly, be it carers, cleaners, managers etc.
I can’t question the care taken of my mum, she feels so comfortable with everyone; the care for my mother is great.

I cannot thank the staff enough for their outstanding care and support in looking after my mum as she recovered from a total knee replacement operation. The staff could not do enough to make my mum’s 2-week stay as comfortable as possible. The care and attention she received from her medical needs to
her emotional needs was beyond what we could have asked for.
Thank you to the office ladies, carers, nurses, kitchen staff and cleaners. You are all wonderful!

The home is very clean. Residents are well looked after. Staff very approachable, friendly and very helpful.
Good understanding of mandatory training.
Keen to learn if not sure. Residents are always offered drinks, water and encouraged to eat.
A very safe place for a relative or parent to be.

My sister arrived needing hourly care which couldn't be sustained at home or in hospital.

The staff are always polite and helpful. Office staff are very helpful.
All the carers are great.
The nurse is fantastic.

It was our mum's 94th birthday on Sunday July 30th and of course English weather was not good!
Heath Lodge allowed us to use the cinema room and have a family gathering and what a wonderful time we had.
They made us all very welcome, the staff were excellent, there was a birthday banner and the chef
baked her a cake and the staff all came and sang happy birthday to her.
Thank you so much Heath Lodge for the care you give to our mum and to all your other residents.

They sometimes forgot to put in his teeth. They keep unplugging his mobile phone so it can't be used. It is very noisy at night so he can't sleep. He doesn't like the food. He feels the nighttime care is not reliable. One of the senior carers is very good. One of the other residents keeps coming into
his room.

My mother has been a resident of Heath Lodge for the past 6 months and has settled in amazingly, we were not sure she would accept going into a home despite there being no choice. All the staff have been so caring and patient with her and she constantly says how much she likes them and how well they
look after her.
Heath Lodge feels like home when we visit and both my sister and I have never had any doubts that we chose the right place for Mum.

Excellent caring care for over a year. My husband had the best possible last year in the circumstances. Always treated with dignity and humour. Plentiful food and drink all through the day. His personal care was first class, hair cut and brushed, nails cut, soothing balm for dry lips etc. All the family

My grandad had such beautiful care from all the staff. The carers showed such compassion for their job. He was always treated with dignity right up to the end. Even when he was unaware. They were so accommodating to me and his family. Always checking in on us offering drinks and food, plus kind words
of support through a very hard time. Even though my grandad was only there just over four weeks all the staff seemed to have bonded with him and cared for him. I can't thank the carers and nurses enough. They made a really hard time in our lives a bit easier.
