Mountbatten Lodge is a purpose-build care home that's situated in a quiet residential area with a retail park within walking distance. The home offers residential care, specialist dementia care and respite care.

Within the home you'll find a number of inviting lounges and dining rooms as well as other welcoming communal areas. The home also benefits from a café which is the perfect place to sit and socialise with friends and family over coffee, tea and other refreshments.

Mountbatten Lodge's beautiful landscaped garden includes a number of seating areas situated along a meandering walk way. The perfect place to relax during the warmer months.

The home has its own dedicated activity worker who ensures that there are a wide range of activities to suit every person's interests and personality.

All staff at Mountbatten Lodge are excellent. Very caring, treating all residents with love and dignity.
Staff seem to know all the residents and family members by name even if working on different units.
My husband is well looked after and content.

Staffed by lovely people with good facilities.
The only problem is items constantly go missing - I do not mean stolen.
Teeth, hearing aids, glasses (spectacles), wheelchair or its foot plates.

We strive to ensure that all personal items are looked after, so it is regrettable to hear that some items have been temporarily misplaced, such as the wheelchair and the glasses. Should similar incidents occur in the future, we would be grateful if these could be brought to the attention of the Home Manager or their Deputy immediately so that they can resolve the matter quickly.

Mountbatten Lodge is a very friendly and welcoming environment. The care staff are helpful and supportive and always willing to go the extra mile.
The manager was extremely welcoming and we felt that she was approachable and easy to talk to.
We felt that the residents are very happy and settled in
their home and my auntie is comfortable which gives us comfort as a family.

I often visit my aunt who resides at the Mountbatten Lodge. The change in management has been a breath of fresh air. The home has been blessed with the new manager who is a real asset to the company. Keep up the great work, my aunty loves her home and we enjoy visiting. Outstanding care, outstanding

My mother-in-law has been in this home since November of last year occupying an enablement room since going in there she has come on leaps and bounds and is now awaiting a permanent placement. The staff and carers are all very caring and she gets on well with everyone. I have to say that the food here
is I think exceptional. The chef seems to understand what people want and is very accommodating. Having had previous experience of care I have found this one of the nicest especially in view of all the bad press these days

I would just like to mention that I am very pleased with the complete care my husband has been receiving at the Mountbatten Lodge since April 2016, which is entirely due to the care and hard work of the excellent staff on duty.


I also would like to mention the good food which is prepared on the premises

and always arrives nice and hot and there are always several choices for the clients to choose from.
I have no complaints whatsoever except that the resident's staff deserve more of a mention for the hard work they are doing.

My mum has been at Mountbatten Lodge for over 8 years. She is very well looked after and even loved. I would really recommend Mountbatten Lodge to anyone who has a loved one that needs extra care in their later years. I can go and see my mum and when I leave her I know she is well looked after. I have worked at Quantum Care since 2014, starting as a care worker and progressing to deputy home manager. I have gained my teaching qualification which allows me to teach the following in-house; Manual Handling, Dementia, Medication, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Emergency Aid, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Food Safety & Nutrition. I have my Level 2 qualification in Seated Exercise and my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I am currently working towards my Level 5 Qualification. 


My biggest passion in life is being able to give someone the best quality care and teaching and supporting my team to do the same. I have been in the care industry for many years and my passion is as strong as it was when I was 17.
