Review from Robert S (Father of Resident) published on 9 November 2021 Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our son has now been in care for over 40-years - eleven of those have been with Seahaven/Kingsdown Lodge.
As we all know, the last two years (Covid) have been very very difficult, especially for care homes and the carers that work in them.
We cannot praise Seahaven and all the staff enough; our son
was used to coming home every two weeks - he went fifteen weeks last summer without seeing his family, as did most of the other clients. All daily/weekly activities were cancelled, how they coped is way beyond us as parents; you only need to be a regular visitor to see all the different behaviours and disabilities that they would have had to deal with.
So we can only thank all care homes and all the carers that work in them just the same as the NHS, and as you will see below, we feel Seahaven deserves top marks all the way and nothing but top marks.

Our brother has been in care for a number of years yet we believe that, at this moment, he is as happy and contented as he has ever been. He enjoys a full and active life and enjoys good friendships with the staff.
