The staff and management were so lovely to my mum. They were extremely accommodating to all her needs and made her feel safe, acknowledged and most fo all happy. It was our first respite and coming home and collected a very happy mum made our break even better, She has been said she would be happy to go there again. Thank you Keele House.

In the 9 months my husband was in Keele House, he was happy. The staff were so helpful and caring towards him and still managed to keep his sense of humour to the end. I feel that the staff were there to support me as well. My husband was a faller and a wanderer, due to CCTV, the staff could tell what he had done. When we knew he was dying the staff made him as comfortable as possible, also giving him the dignity that was needed. I would have no qualms in recommending Keele House to anyone with relatives suffering from dementia.

I go to see my friend once a week. She appears well looked after but has a tendency to treat the care home as a hotel - although the staff seem to cope with this extremely well. Her room could do with redecorating - but it is not unlivable.

Keele House is extremely clean. There are no nasty odours. The rooms are modern, light and comfortable. All staff are welcoming, caring and professional. The food is outstanding. My mother is very happy and always well kept. I have nothing but praise for Keele House and everyone who works there.

Sadly, my mother died on Monday. She had been taken ill 3 weeks previously and I can honestly say that the staff could not have been more caring, kind, thoughtful or supportive. My mother was given every care possible.

We, as a family, are truly grateful.

My mother was a resident for the last year and a half. We had not realised there were any problems until my mother was given 28 days notice to leave the home. My sister and myself were in shock as the home had not notified us that they had any problems with our mother, if the home had acted sooner and informed us and the mental health team earlier, my mother might not have had to leave the home, it was very distressing for my mother and myself and my sister. I feel that the owner and the management need an overhaul as they have no idea how to run the home in an efficient way, there is no communication between the families or over healthcare providers and their staff. Overall the carers in the home are good and caring but I feel they need more training in dementia and with mental health issues so they have more understanding of the residents that reside there.

My father was a resident until he passed away 10th June 2018. He was a resident since 18th May 2017.
My mother has been a resident since 18th May 2017.

It is with comfort to say that we could not have made a better choice than Keele House to care for both my parents. The staff and managers are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. They are very proactive when concerns arise regarding the health of well-being concerns and do not hesitate to contact health professionals. Communication between Keele House and ourselves as a family cannot be faulted. There have been several occasions that they have gone above and beyond their normal duties to help us look after my parents. Their room is light, airy, comfortable and clean. Especially the menu offered, its varied and tasty, compliments to the cooks. We have built a nice relationship with many staff and managers.

I can’t say enough good things about Keele House and the amazing care staff. Absolutely everyone from management down went above and beyond.

I could visit my Dad anytime I wanted. The home was always spotlessly clean on every visit. My Dad was always clean shaven and dressed nicely just like he would have wanted.

The food here is wonderful and at meal times the staff are patient and attend to everyone’s individual needs. The main thing for me was the feeling of warmth and genuine care from everyone there. It made the final year of my Dad’s life a happy and comfortable one.

I really can’t thank everyone enough.

Keele House is a very caring place to live for my elderly aunt.
The staff are all extremely friendly and take good care of the residents.
My aunt's room is always bright and clean, the food is excellent and, importantly, the home always smells nice and clean and fresh.
The manager is always very helpful and will always contact me if there are any problems regarding my aunt.

A kind and caring environment with excellent staff.

Mother was admitted for a weeks respite care, she came out covered in sores. If you care about your relative, please avoid this care home. The standard of care my mother received was woeful.

In the past seven years since I've been coming to Keele House, I have found the entire staff absolutely brilliant. My friend could not be looked after any better along with the rest of the residents.

My uncle is unable to care for himself, doubly incontinent and can no longer walk. The staff at Keele House are friendly, caring and very approachable if something needs doing. Alternative meals are provided according to need. I am unable to comment on activities as my uncle finds it difficult to take part and often prefers to stay in his room. Other nieces and nephews visit him regularly at varying times of day and are always made welcome. I have observed other residents and they all seem to be well cared for.

Overall, my uncle is warm and comfortable in a clean and secure environment.
