Located in the quiet Kentish village of Wilmington, Sonya Lodge Care Centre is a residential home with 37 single rooms, providing specialist care for older people who have been diagnosed with Dementia. The Home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and enjoys secure, private accommodation with modern amenities. They pride themselves on having an excellent care team, highly trained to care for residents with respect, patience and compassion.
The majority of bedrooms have ensuite facilities, and the Home has comfortable lounge and dining areas, all of which look out onto peaceful gardens with flowerbeds and outdoor seating. Other amenities include an onsite hair salon and a ‘Forget Me Not’ café in the garden.
The Home also employs a physiotherapist to support residents with rehabilitation, including bespoke packages for day care or short-term placements. Physiotherapy services help improve strength, reduce or prevent falls, and enhance overall well-being.
