Victory Care Home

The home is lovely and the staff are wonderful. My mum has been there 2 weeks and I noticed a massive improvement she is chatty and smiles a lot I can see she is being lovingly cared for as I live away and I'm at peace knowing mum is in the best place for her needs and I can sleep at night, no more worrying. I can't thank the staff enough for caring for mum bless them all.

My Mum has been a resident of Victory Care home for about 18 months. I can't speak highly enough about the care she receives. Her room and the amenities are very good. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite and caring.

My brother was treated very well. The care was excellent.

The residents are treated with dignity, humour and respect.

The staff are extremely caring and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They always listen to our concerns, keep us up to date on mum's health and state of mind. The management is well structured and very efficient. I couldn't ask for more from a care home for my mum.

The staff have treated my brother with respect throughout his time at the assessment centre, all the staff have encouraged him to eat and drink which has resulted in him being in really good health after many months of being very ill. I cannot praise this centre enough.

Mum was resident for a total of 2 weeks, during which time the staff treated her very kindly and were totally aware of her care needs. Thanks to the quick action of her care team Mum was admitted to hospital and given the treatment she needed. Mum's condition improved straight away and I know that if the staff there had not picked up on her underlying condition it could have been very different.

My 97-year-old father was in residence for respite care (following my mother's bereavement) and assessment of needs.

I can only express my admiration for the standard of care he has received and the compassion, interest and professionalism shown by the staff. I am very happy that he is being cared for here and that his needs will be properly addressed.

This is a very nice care home and I am content for my mum to stay here. There is always room for improvement e.g laundry service and perhaps a bit more activities?

My mother has been at Victory Care Home for approximately eighteen months. The staff are caring and supportive. She is treated with dignity and I am extremely happy that she is living in such a protective environment.

My wife is well looked after. Her care needs are good, any problems I am contacted. The staff are very understanding with her as she is totally reliant on them for all her needs.

I've found Victory Care Home to be a great place for my friend. She is happy and really enjoys the daily activities and loves the carers who give her so much time.

The staff are great and they really care for the residents. I know it is a stressful job but the staff really shine. I know that the staff member assigned to my mum was in work when my mum was taken ill and she stayed with her while the ambulance staff worked on her.

Such a kind and caring home. Excellent calibre of staff. I couldn't have asked for more from Victory throughout my mother's stay and sadly her illness.

The Victory Care Home is clean and tidy, and the staff are very nice and happy to help you. They seem to be happy with what they do, and I would recommend Victory Care Home to stay in full time or for respite. The individual rooms are like a home from home.

All nursing staff, carers, in fact, all staff, have been caring, sympathetic and of considerable assistance in every way to both my mother and us as family members.

Our father was admitted at short notice as an emergency placement we were concerned that we had not been able to check the facilities but needn't have worried. The property is well maintained, the staff are wonderful, so kind and patient. Dad can be quite challenging but he is always treated with respect and care. His health has improved considerably since he arrived. The staff need recognition for going 'above and beyond' regularly to make Dad feel settled.

This is a very good care home. Staff are friendly, patient and caring. They know their residents strengths and weaknesses because they make a great effort to get to know each individuals. Difficult moments are treated sympathetically. The home is clean and welcoming. It is common to arrive and find entertainment sing songs etc. A retired greyhound visits most weeks to the delight of the residents. My mum is in very good hands!
