When my wife and I went to see Cossins House we were impressed with the atmosphere of care and attention given to residents. This impression has proved to be more than the case, we could not be happier to have our mother (in-law) here.

First-rate care. It feels just like being at home. I know that my aunt is completely safe and well cared for, which is a huge weight off the shoulders of the whole extended family.

In my opinion, Cossins House is one of the best in Surrey. I have relatives in a couple of other homes and my daughter is a carer in one of them but Cossins House is by far the cleanest, most caring and friendliest of them all.

Each time I visit I find my friend happy, clean, content. The carers are welcoming and attentive and do all they can to make sure the residents are stimulated and interested. We are all friends and find the home a real home from home.

My dad was a resident at Cossins for over 10 years. The standard of care was always excellent, particularly during his last few months. The love and support given to him and his family was outstanding and he was able to stay 'at home' to die peacefully.

We work as a team to engage with everyone and work to the needs of each resident. We have lots of fun and games indoors and outdoors, trips out, LIVE music and entertainment and one-to-one sessions.
We have a Holy Communion service every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and a hairdresser who visits every other Monday. We are always open to new ideas and have volunteers coming in each week. We work closely with Pet Therapy and have several dogs visiting. We work with local schools, who sing for us every Christmas.
