Anchor’s Augusta Court in Chichester is a purpose-built care home, providing quality care and facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment. The home is within reach of Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve and Goodwood Racecourse.

Augusta Court continues to welcome new residents for tailored and high-quality residential care and care for older people living with dementia.

I was always happy with the care my aunt received at Augusta Court in Chichester. She was there for about 6 years. The staff were always helpful, friendly and caring. The home was always clean and tidy.

Our friend moved to Augusta Court over two years ago when she could no longer cope at home. She quickly became settled and happy and was very appreciative of the care and interest taken in her. The daily activities extended her interests and allowed her to integrate and become part of the family of
residents. She especially appreciated the visits from the local nursery school and the times of singing. As her needs increased the care team sensitively adjusted their help, always keeping me informed of any proposed changes and asking if I had any further requirements. During her last days, she was especially well looked after, being provided with a more suitable bed and more intensive care. I am so grateful we chose Augusta Court for our friend.

Senior management team led a small group Memorial Service for families to reflect and celebrate the lives of our loved ones in the care home before they passed away. Our relatives were remembered fondly by staff and those happy memories were presented as a permanent keepsake, together with a photo frame
of special pictures. This was such a special way to acknowledge the time spent in such a genuinely caring environment where all staff are dedicated to giving the best care they can. It also gave families a chance to convey our heartfelt thanks for making the final end dignified and respectful. Cannot say a big enough thank you, everyone.

Sadly my wife died 14 years ago, two years later I suffered two falls and was diagnosed as suffering from dementia. My doctor recommended treatment in a care home and two paramedic friends stated without reservation the 20 homes they dealt with. Augusta Court was 'top'. I have now spent 12 years here
and have been very satisfied with the devotion and personal care provided. What was especially notable was the never-ending care during the covid pandemic. I would have no hesitation in recommending Augusta Court.

Living so far away from Mum, it's a relief knowing that she is happy and so well cared for at Augusta Court. Although I haven't been able to attend the care home yet, I only see and hear good things about it. Mum once told me if she'd known how nice a care home could be she would have moved out of her
house a lot sooner, instead of trying to maintain her independence, living alone. I also so appreciate how management and the staff maintain a regular social media presence. I wouldn't see my mum looking so happy, social, and well if it weren't for the regular photos and activities posted. I have nothing but praise, appreciation, and awe for the carers helping to make Augusta Court such a safe and friendly environment for our aged community. Thank you, Team.

My family member has been a resident at Augusta Court for the past 4 years. In that time she has been cared for in the most professional, sympathetic, and encouraging manner. She has enjoyed participating in all the varied activities and enjoyed the home-cooked meals, especially the different themed
events.
She has most definitely thrived while in their care. While she is sadly becoming more dependent on the care team, I could not be happier with the level of care she has received. I have the utmost confidence in the management of the home and more importantly, the individual care team who are, in my opinion, exceptional.
They keep me regularly updated with care reviews and are always available to answer any questions I may have.

My dad, who has Alzheimer's, has been at Augusta Court for a year now and after a brief settling-in period he was soon at ease. As his condition and health have slowly deteriorated the level of care and attention he receives is without doubt excellent. I have always been impressed with the level of
communication we receive. The facilities are great and the food always smells and looks fantastic. I'm very happy that my father is safe and well looked after.

My partner became a resident of Augusta Court Care Home just over 3 years ago and I have always been extremely pleased with the care he has received especially during the covid period. I have found the staff to be professional friendly and welcome, and they treated my partner with the utmost respect
and kindness which he deserved. My lovely partner passed away recently and the end-of-life care he received was exemplary. I cannot fault it. But not only did they take care of him they took care of me and my family. I was able to stay with him in his room and a bed was provided and I received all the food I needed. They did everything for me. The friendliness of the staff towards me and my family made our last days a much better experience than it could have been. I will always be grateful.

My mother received the highest level of care during her time at Augusta Court. She built up a really good relationship with the carers and we could relax in the knowledge that her needs were being met in a safe, supportive and friendly environment. In her final days, the staff were amazing. They ensured
she was comfortable, clean and the wider care team contacted when drugs were required to manage her pain. Not only did they look after her but they supported myself and my brother through this very difficult and emotional time.

The communication from the staff is excellent.
Her family feel reassured that our mother is safe and well cared for.
There are a wide range of activities provided constantly, for all residents to enjoy. The staff continue to maintain
a sense of humour, despite being so busy!

My brother is very well looked after at Augusta Court. The team are very professional and caring in handling his every need. He has had a few episodes where he wanted to go outside where their exceptional handling of the episode and care provided have played a vital role in settling him. I am sure he
hasn't been their most relaxed redient, however not being able to speak has no doubt been as frustrating for him as well as the Augusta Court team, not to mention huge challenge. Again with their extreme patience, undivided attention to his needs and continually working with him, they have are incredible. Thank you so very much.

I am very happy my sister is here. She did have 24 hour care at home and I think she and the carers got fed up with each other. Being here there is lots to see and hear. I like the cafe style eating also.

I was able to relax knowing that my sister was safe and well cared for at all times. She could get up and go to bed when she wished and choose whether to join in the many activities. Her health was monitered and I was kept informed of any changes. When eating became difficult, care was taken to assist
in every possible way. I have great respect for the staff who do a difficult and demanding job with cheerfulness, patience and kindness.

I am incredibly thankful for the exceptional care my mother has received at Augusta Court during her one year there. The management and staff members are not only professional and friendly but also genuinely caring, providing attentive support to meet all of her needs with a warm heart. My mother enjoys
participating in various activities offered at the care home, which keep residents engaged and content.
The facility's inviting ambience is complemented by the delicious food provided, as well as the delightful tradition of afternoon tea. Augusta Court provides a safe, caring home for my father, who is 90 and was diagnosed with dementia. He can be 'difficult' on occasion but this is handled sensibly and sensitively by the staff.
I have only good things to say about the management and staff. They are proactive, helpful, calm and caring.
The manager always has time to discuss any concerns and is an excellent role model for her staff.
