The home is an absolute blessing. It gives me real peace of mind knowing that my wife is being so well cared for. The staff are attentive, kind and always friendly, showing they really care about the residents. Facilities are excellent, always clean and no smells. Quality of the food is very good. The additional services made available to family members help the feeling of involvement. I would highly recommend the home to other families.

My mum has lived at forest view since December 19th 2023 she is very happy and loves playing bingo and joining in everything that is going on.

Mum went into Forest view at short notice for emergency respite, while I had to go away. Right from her arrival we were made to feel welcome & at home. I'm pleased to say this is now her permanent residence & I couldn't be happier! Mum is so well cared for & she is thriving. Mum particularly enjoys the dancing, which can be any time any music is on, but especially when the performers come in. The staff are always happy to dance with her too. Her room is lovely & overlooks the garden, which she enjoys pottering in. When I visit, all the staff greet me by name & tell me what she's been up to.

I didn't expect the whole experience of putting a loved one into care to be such a positive experience, but Forest View have really made us both very happy.

My mum has been a resident for 18 months and we have been very happy with her care and accommodation. We can visit any time and she always looks well presented and contented. The home is clean and comfortable. Communication from the staff about her condition and any concerns they have is excellent. I am confident that she is in a safe and caring environment which makes the heartbreak of her declining health more bearable. Thank you

Overall, the home is clean and tidy, and the staff are lovely and very caring. The management team are good, anything that is needed they will endeavour to sort it. Food, I feel, with most of the residence they do need something that is softer to eat due to lack of teeth, but overall the food is satisfactory.

Our mum went into residential care in August 2025 and we were lucky she was placed in Forest view.
Without exception the staff were warm, caring and kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and it was clear that the staff truly cared about the residents.
We as a family were made extremely welcome whenever we visited.
Mum sadly passed away at almost 101 years in October 2025 and we could not have asked for anything better in the way they cared for her in her last few days and how they supported the family as a whole.
Forest View really is a care home full of kindness and compassion where all the residents are treated with dignity.
We will remain forever grateful

To the staff for taking such good care of mum.

The facilities were very good and the freedom to roam the different shared living spaces broight a diversity to his routine. His room was good, the TV and bookshelf augmentation had a personal touch making him comfortable to his space.

We sadly made the decision to put our mum into Forest View Care Home in February this year. The staff have been extremely caring and supportive of mum, even with her challenging behaviour. All the staff make time to say hello or have a chat with you, no matter how busy they are. It is very reassuring that mum is being looked after in a safe and friendly environment.

The love of my life ,who has been a resident at Forest View care home for the past 3 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep last Friday 21st March. I can not thank all the staff enough for the care and kindness that was given over those years, particularly at the end, when they were with my love at the very end. Forest View is a wonderful and caring environment, that goes the extra mile to ensure they give the best support possible for residents and for family and friends. They always contact you swiftly if any issue arises or issues need to be discussed. Thank you all again from the bottom of my of my heart.

I visited my dad for the first time today I was so thrilled to see him at peace here and relaxed. So settled. I found myself overwhelmed by the whole experience of visiting today. The effort that has been put into creating an environment that is so welcoming and comforting for residents and relatives is amazing. So far from what I expected and have seen in the past. All the staff acknowledged my presence and all seem so happy to be working in this home. I am confident my dad will be looked after.
