Everyone at Forest View was so kind to my mum in her final few months of what was a cruel and hideous illness. They helped make her feel comfortable and at home and recognised the things that were important to her, and that meant her family (myself and my daughter) felt 100% confident that she was being looked after as well and as compassionately as she could be. That means so much to us. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are deeply sorry for your loss and feel privileged to have been able to support your mum during her final months. Your kind words mean a great deal to us.
There is not enough I can say about the way my wife was treated. I am more than satisfied. The staff were always helpful and kept me informed of how she was. A special thank you to the office and the team leaders who were always compassionate and cared for her and me.
Thank you for leaving us this kind review about the care of your wife, the team will be delighted to read it.
Very happy with you looking after my wife. She says she is very happy with you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this wonderful review. We are so pleased to hear that your wife is happy here with us.
Forest view has provided excellent care for my younger sister who has early onset dementia. She has been at the home for over a year now and the team at the home ave been kind, caring and proffesional. The home has kept the family informed as we all live a distance away and our visits can be limited.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this lovely review about the care of your sister, we really appreciate it.
My mother has been here for a few months now and the carers go out of their way to make all residents comfortable and happy. They have incredibly difficult roles and always remain happy. My mother has settled in well. Thank you!
Thank you for leaving us this kind review, we really appreciate it.
The home has been amazing. They have made my mother's life worth living. The staff are absolutely amazing and have made sure my mother has settled in so well. They have all made every effort to ensure she feels welcome and not a burden to anybody and have given her a quality of life we could never have dreamed of. She has certainly improved under their care and supervision.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this lovely review about the care of your mother, the team will be delighted to read it.
My dad has really settled in at Forest View, whenever we come to see him he seems happy and content, clean and tidy. He seems to enjoy the food and activities, most of the staff are happy to talk to you about any concerns you have and management is great.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this lovely review about the care of your dad, the team will be delighted to read it.
My aunt was at Forest View for approx 6 years until she passed away in September 2024. My aunt always received good care and was always encouraged to join in with weekly social events. Given the option of attending religious sessions held in the home which she attended on occasion. The kitchen staff would respond to her requests for meal options. In the last few months, my aunt needed palliative care which Forest View agreed to carry out as they felt moving her on would not benefit her and care was excellent in this period. I would recommend Forest View for their care and excellent approach from management, care staff, cleaners, kitchen staff and activity staff, they made Aunty's time at Forest View a very good experience, thank you all so much.
Thank you for leaving these kind comments about the care of your aunt, it is lovely to read that she enjoyed the religious sessions and social events. Best wishes to you and your family.
Forest View not only cares for the resident they care about the whole family. Since my mum moved into the home a few months ago the staff have given her the most exceptional personalised care and sensitively communicated with me and the rest of my family any developments. The facilities are good, with lots on offer for the resident's activities wise. There is a good buzz in the common areas with lots of spaces to go when you visit. The en-suite bedrooms are also large, with lots of space and storage for residents to feel at home, the memory boxes they use in activity sessions and the magazine are also great extra touches making the home a special place to be.
Thank you so much for leaving us this kind review, the team will be delighted to read it.
The manager you can be very proud of all your staff. Thank you.
This is such a lovely review to read, thank you. The team will be touched to read these kind words. Sending our deepest condolences for the loss of your wonderful mum.
Me and my daughters are very pleased with Forest View Care Home. My husband can be difficult and demanding at times. The staff are very good and have encouraged him to participate in some of the activities, which he would not have done before he came to Forest View. We are kept informed on any health issues, which are treated promptly. The staff and carers are very friendly and the home is bright and clean.
Thank you for leaving us this kind review, it really means a lot to the whole team. We are delighted to hear that your husband is enjoying our activities and you find the home to be bright and clean. Your lovely comments will be passed on.
The care home has offered a level of compassion, professionalism and dedication exhibited by the staff has been truly amazing. The warmth and genuine concern for the well-being of the residents have created a comforting and positive environment and has not gone unnoticed. We really can't thank the team enough.

Forest View has a nice ambience, and the staff are friendly, demonstrating admirably to residents the care in caring. Food is freshly prepared and of good quality, and the hygiene of the property and the residents is excellent.
Thank you for this lovely review; your kind words will be passed on to the rest of the team.
I can only say that the home and staff are fantastic in all ways.
Cannot fault in any way.
This is such a lovely review to read, thank you. It is a delight to have been able to provide this care for your partner. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Always a pleasure to visit dad at Forest View. The atmosphere is cheery and welcoming, and the facilities are clean and fresh. We are made welcome by the staff and always offered refreshments. The acid test, however, is that dad, who now thinks of this as his home, is very happy, and has blossomed under his care there.
This is so lovely to hear about your dad, your kind comments will be passed onto the rest of the team.
My mother is cared for in a safe and supportive home and the staff are always sensitive to her needs.
A big thank you to the whole team of staff for treating Mum with dignity, respect and kindness, it is very much appreciated for everything you do.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it. We are so pleased to hear that your mum has settled in well and that you feel informed and happy of her care here. Your kind words will be passed on to our wonderful team.
My husband has been to Forest View a few times for respite. The staff are warm and welcoming and extremely kind. He and I feel safe and treated with respect. There is always help and advice available from the staff and there are lots of activities to keep him busy. The manager always keeps in contact and keeps me updated with information.
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to share yours and your husband's positive experience here with us at Forest View. This will be passed on to all of the team.
We tell Mum she's going on holiday, and she enjoys the food and the companionship, it also does me the world of good when I know Mum is being looked after so well.
The staff are really pleasant and everything I visit I can see they do their best. Of course, they would like more staff to be able to do more.
Very sad that the said unit has closed as the residents used to get lots of variety to their day then, but sadly they don't and it's up to the same staff to provide entertainment which they do without a moan.
We have had queries with mums health and the staff assure us that these issues are looked into and feedback if anything is found.
We wouldn't move mum to another care home.
Only current concern is her clothing goes missing despite labels sewn on.
She seems to need more help with her incontinence and is often left with no pads or underwear.
