Fethneys is a friendly and versatile care accommodation, registered to offer personalised solutions for up to ten adults with physical disabilities including acquired brain injury.
The home provides rehabilitation support with a focus on enablement, participation, motivation and skills building, to support people to move on to more independent living. The aim at Fethneys is to empower and support individuals to make decisions about their lives including moving on when the time is right.
The team at Fethneys works with individuals to design personalised programmes of support such as physiotherapy to improve mobility and skills building to help build confidence to access the community independently and the aim is to support people to maximise the opportunities and experiences open to them in all aspects of their lives. It’s not just about moving on; there is a focus on working closely with each individual to achieve their goals and the kind of life they want. There is also a studio flat with fully accessible facilities to support individuals to try out semi-independent living before they move on.
