Excellent care staff. Cleaning is very good, happy staff. I haven't been here very long but what I have seen of the activities has been good. I have a good selection of food. Very good management, can't fault the staff here.

Overall Experience
The care staff are great, happy, funny and get on very well with them. They keep my room tidy and clean. Lovely staff. The food is brilliant, always get what you ask for, can't fault them. Activities are very good, they try to please everyone. Very nice lady in management.

A really good friend of mine is staying here short stay. We felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Place is very homely. Good food and plenty of activities to do.

Care staff are very good and helpful, lovely staff. Cleaning, keep my room clean, always helpful. Food, enjoy my food very much, good selection. Activities, enjoy bingo and also sit and be fit. Management, the manager works hard, always very helpful and there when I need her.

My Father-in-law spent his last few months at Glebe house. And I can honestly say they were the happiest he had had in a long time. He had nothing but praise for the staff and made some great friends with the other residents nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this care home.

My husband has been in Glebe House for approximately two years. They do look after him quite well, his main issue is the food - I am known for being a very good cook (I did B&B, foreign students, so when they say I am a very good cook it makes you happy). I walk down for a visit or take the bus. He can come home for lunch etc also get on a local bus and visit the local pub, so we are all doing our best. they do put on little shows and a lovely Christmas so well done Glebe House.

Always made to feel welcome, care and kindness is shown at all times. Always friendly and helpful and respect is shown. The staff are all so nice and greet with a hello and take their time to listen and explain things that are happening. Lovely to hear the other residents laughing and happy. Lovely home with lots to do.

This is the third time my husband has been to Glebe House for respite, and each time, I know he is happy to go. He enjoys the location as well as well as the welcome he always feels. I know he is always pleased to see the staff who look after him and his assistance dog so well. Knowing this, I am able to relax properly when he is there, as I know he is in safe hands.
Myself and our daughter visited him during his stay and were made very welcome and felt part of the community whilst we were there.

Mum has been unwell again, the staff have been amazing, always caring and looking after Mum. We as a family are very lucky to have Mum in Glebe House. I must say the staff are just amazing and brilliant with Mum.

Overall Experience
My mother was admitted to Glebe House for six weeks of respite care in June 2023. All of the staff have been helpful and efficient for the duration of the stay, they have made my mother, myself and our family extremely welcome. My mother has made good progress during the stay and is now far more mobile. Thank you to Glebe House for your support.

Overall Experience
My mum attended Glebe House after being in hospital for five weeks. The care given from the moment she arrived was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They encouraged her, listen to her and made her feel very comfortable during her short stay. A huge thank you to all Glebe House staff, you are all amazing.

There is not a role in a care home that Jo has not undertaken – she loves a challenge and has helped out in many Shaw homes across the West Sussex region, learning and improving along the way.

I started at Glebe House in 2015 as a support worker. I then became a team leader and now I am the administrator.
My mum resided at Glebe House when she needed care, after seeing the fantastic care and support given to her I decided that I wanted to be a part of the Glebe House team.
My role as admin gives me the opportunity to support each of the residents and their families first hand.
I am privileged to meet future residents and their families and ensure that all of their needs are met whilst residing with us.
I love being part of such a supportive and dynamic staff team and spending time with each and every resident.

Over the last 11 years working in the care sector, I have gained many skills and achievements, my highest qualification is, Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
In my previous role I was a registered manager at a home for those with mental health needs. I then went on to have a baby girl and decided that I wanted to take a new career path still in the care sector so that I could use the skills and knowledge previously gained to give 100% to my new role.
I joined Glebe House as the second administrator. I enjoy the people I work with and every day is a new challenge, this gives me the opportunity to develop my skills to ensure I am always providing a fantastic service to the people we support and their families.
