The Hillings Care Home has been excellent for this resident. She has settled in well thanks to the excellent caring staff. Not an easy job but have gone out of their way to help her. She is treated like a member of the family.

Thank you to The Hillings for the exceptional care and compassion shown to my brother over the past year. The Manager and whole team were nothing short of wonderful, friendly, and caring, always going above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable and happy.
From the first day, time was taken to understand
likes, dislikes, and interests and his love for music was soon recognised. My brother enjoyed his food and looked clean and comfortable during our visits. We always felt welcome and knowing he was in such a warm and kind environment gave us peace of mind.
From beginning to end, the staff were incredible. Their dedication and kindness will forever be remembered and appreciated by our family.

Site Management and group management are very poor. Truth appears to be alien to them. I am struggling to get him moved to a better (that won't take much) care home and they are not being honest with me or the Social Worker. They can't account for money gone missing on visits to the cash point and shop.
Can't produce receipts from shopping trips without a number of email requests and waiting weeks.
It does not even deserve 1 star. Do yourself a favour and avoid The Hillings Eaton Socon.

My brother has been in The Hillings for two years. The reason for leaving is mostly so he can be nearer to family. During this time he has been happy but sometimes needed more stimulation. He was sad to leave as was very fond of the staff.

On every occasion, we visit the staff are welcoming and friendly. There is a very homely atmosphere in the building. The staff are very kind, caring and professional treating the residents with dignity. The home manager and deputy act on any concerns we have. We are very happy with the care my brother-in-law

A fantastic home providing excellent care with all staff working to a very high standard and are all really one big family working together as a great team. The home does require some modern facilities and decor improvements/garden, which would benefit staff and residents but what the staff provide
(all of them have their hearts in the job) certainly shows dedication and commitment which I'm truly grateful for.

My mother has been a resident in the Daisy unit at The Hillings since 2018. I'm very satisfied with the quality of care provided. My mother is dealt with by staff with care, gentleness, compassion and humour. I believe my mother is as happy as she can be given the circumstances and is kept safe and

Friendly, efficient staff, always on hand to help. The rooms are small but comfortable, no ensuite. There is a varied diet - good, tasty food and I enjoy the quizzes as part of the available activities.

Recent residents' meeting, was very informative. They need more funds to support activities for the residents, hopefully, this will come from the events to be held in the next few weeks. Care and service are very good, staff very friendly but always professional.

We asked the staff if we could have a small family get together to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. Not only did they fully agree to our request, they decorated the cafe/bar area and laid on a birthday spread of snacks, sandwiches, cake and soft drinks - fantastic. The staff made the whole event
memorable and have our utmost thanks.

Mum moved into The Hillings in November 2020. She was made to feel very welcome by the staff and after an initial period, where she felt a bit unsure with her surroundings, she is now very settled there. We know she is safe and well looked after and now seems to be thriving in The Hillings environment.

My mother always seems content. The staff have always been very helpful and informative and friendly. Mother says the food is very nice and plentiful. The home has provided much-needed support for visiting relatives during this difficult pandemic which has been invaluable. I feel my mother is safe and

In all my dealings with all staff in this home, I cannot praise them enough. They are always available to keep me updated about my mother's welfare. I haven't been around the home as I normally sit in a visitors room, but Mother tells me it is a comfortable establishment.
