Friendly, efficient staff, always on hand to help. The rooms are small but comfortable, no ensuite. There is a varied diet - good, tasty food and I enjoy the quizzes as part of the available activities.

Recent residents' meeting, was very informative. They need more funds to support activities for the residents, hopefully, this will come from the events to be held in the next few weeks. Care and service are very good, staff very friendly but always professional.

In all my dealings with all staff in this home, I cannot praise them enough. They are always available to keep me updated about my mother's welfare. I haven't been around the home as I normally sit in a visitors room, but Mother tells me it is a comfortable establishment.

My mother has been a resident for a few years now and is very happy there. The staff are without exception friendly, caring and professional. I have been extremely impressed by the way they have and are continuing to cope with the pandemic regulations. They have been under enormous pressure, looking after everyone but it has not affected the quality of care to their residents or the way relatives are treated. When I phone to arrange a visit, or for any other reason, whoever answers the phone is always cheerful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I know my mother is being well cared for every day. Although visiting is limited at the moment, the staff are keeping the residents' spirits up and organising things for them to do as well as all their usual work. They should all be congratulated for coping so well. I have no hesitation in recommending this home and am so glad that we managed to obtain a place for my mother there.

Difficult times for everyone, but all staff pleasant and easy to talk to. They try to accommodate everybody's wishes where possible while keeping residents safe, and more importantly, happy. I feel my aunt is well cared for.

Very noisy - Doors (outer) banging shut, other doors squeaking night and day - trollies very noisy, can hear staff talking during the night. Bells (alarm) ringing for 20-30 minutes at times. No hot drinks, always at bedtime even if requested. Meals not very imaginative, especially tea time. Often...

Often items on menu not available or wrong description - Cobbler was only mince and mash, no baked potatoes. Payment should be based on amount of care/support, not on a fixed rate. Would only award four stars overall. Would like fish cakes/fingers for tea occasionally. Being in this environment I am losing my own sanity. Be glad to get home.
