The staff and management at Park House Nursing Home provide exceptional care for my mum, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do. As a family, we deeply appreciate the commitment, compassion, and professionalism shown by the entire team throughout her stay.
Every member of staff has made us feel welcome and keeps us well informed about how Mum is doing whenever we visit. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and I am certain the rest of my family would share the same feelings of appreciation and gratitude.

We cannot thank the team enough for the outstanding care and attention they give not only to Mum but to all the residents. Their dedication and support are truly remarkable. I would highly recommend Park House Nursing Home to anyone seeking high-quality dementia care.

Review from David T (Son of Resident) published on 10 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

This is a joint review by David and Jeremy, the resident's sons. Our mother was in the home from November 2023 until her death in April 2026 with mixed dementia. As a part of this condition, she often presented as extremely agitated and sometimes aggressive. Overall during this whole period we were extremely pleased with the care, support and professionalism of Park House carers, staff and management. We were very comfortable with the safety and security of the home and the communications from management and nursing staff were quick, accurate and appropriate. Whenever we visited, without appointment, we found that there was always a carer who was empathetic and who understood and was responsive to her complex needs. This included keeping her calm when she was agitated through building warm relationships with the patient. We found the facilities and rooms somewhat dated and some investment would not come amiss but this doesn't detract from the the outstanding care that she received.

All the staff are welcoming and friendly and do an excellent job in caring and looking after my mum and meeting her needs
Everything is well organised and there's

Since my grandma was moved into park house care home, I couldn't have asked more from anyone who works in the building, the health care practitioners, nurses and carers have insured she was made comfortable and welcome from the minute she got here. It is such a relief from my perspective to know she's being looked after in the best way possible. At times it's been challenging as a family, but we all sleep soundly knowing she will be looked after and loved by all the staff. We will be forever greatful to park house care home, and would recommend anyone who is in need of 24/7 care, to come and stay here. Many thanks, Sam.

In August 2025 my nanny was very poorly in hospital and she needed a nursing home.
There was a really lovely nurse who came from the nursing home to see myself and my nanny at the hospital. The nurse was very kind, caring and understanding as I explained I had never been in this situation before.
The nurse was very professional and said "it's ok Louise we will look after nanny"
I was feeling very anxious about everything. My nanny was on palliative care at the time .

we was greeted by a wonderful team of nurses , health care assistants and everywhere was very clean and organised, ALL the staff was so lovely and all of a sudden this felt like a family place where I felt comfortable leaving nanny .I sat with nanny I sat with nanny and had a lovely cup of tea there was no one rushing me to leave . I was very emotional at the time and the amazing staff comfted me . The meals nan receives are all home made, there is lots of activities available.well done Park house your all amazing

Review from Julie A (Friend of Resident) published on 4 December 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My friend transferred from supported living to Park House Nursing Home earlier this year, following a diagnosis of vascular dementia. He had rapidly deteriorated and was in and out of hospital with issues and falls and his level of care was so poor.

Since arriving at Park House he has what I can only describe as "sprung back to life". This Home is really a home from home. The staff are amazing, kind, caring, friendly, supportive, attentive and always smiling and pleased to see you and everyone under their care. It's apparent that this radiates from the top down. The level of care is exemplary as is the quality of food and activities for the residents.

We are beyond grateful for how you have transformed my friend and we know that he is in the best place possible, which gives us such peace of mind, we couldn't ask for you.

Thank you all so much.

Julie

My brother-in-law was a resident at Park House Nursing home from Feb 2024 to June 2025. He missed his independence being in a nursing home and never really accepted that this was now his way of life. As his family lived many miles away it was not possible to visit as often as we would have liked. However, we know that he was in a safe place and was being well looked after by such caring staff. He was in end of life care for several months but passed away suddenly but peacefully. One of his carers told us that she dressed him in one of his favourite shirts before he was taken away such a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated by us.They certainly looked after him to the very end. Our thanks go out to you all.

My 98 year old mum went to Park House for end of life care. She arrived on Thursday 13 February from hospital. I visited first on 14 February and saw she was in a lovely ground floor room that felt like home. She was never able to enjoy the garden view from her room but I could see she was peaceful, calm and comfortable, wearing her own nighties too, She was washed and fed by all the wonderful team and quietly passed on 24 February.
