Park House Nursing Home

After a shocking experience with a previous home we are very happy with the care my father is receiving. Park Home is a truly caring environment and this is embodied by the staff from the management downwards. My father has greatly improved since coming here.

The staff's dedication to looking after those in their care is second to none, the home is spotlessly clean, the food fantastic, and the summer BBQ was excellent.

There is a real sense of team in this home with everyone working together to support the resident's individual needs. I am impressed by the little things like how many of the staff know each resident and visitor's name and how welcome I am made to feel when I come.

In a nutshell, our parents could not have been in a better place in their final weeks. It made the difficult transition, easier for us knowing that the staff really care about the residents, working together to make them feel 'at home'. Treating them with respect and kindness. The manager does a wonderful job of taking care of staff and residents. Thank you all so much.

I would highly recommend Park House to anyone. It's a professional nursing home but feels like a real home from home.

I cannot praise the staff enough at Park House who were kind and welcoming. They are a fantastic team who support each other, the residents and the families with great care and professionalism. The whole care home team went above and beyond my expectations. It was homely and friendly and I could not fault a single thing, from maintenance, kitchen, carers and nurses. Management made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. I would highly recommend Park House to anyone.

Every single person in Park House is amazing from the cleaning staff to the manager, nothing is too much trouble and as soon as a member of staff sees you, they always ask if there is anything you need or if you need any help.

During the last few months of my wife's fight for life, the home provided the highest level of care and support to both my wife and us her family. The home is pleasant, calm and comfortable. The staff have been caring and professional I could not ask for more. One comes away after a visit knowing that your loved one is safe and happy and that is what the main aim should be. My husband is very well looked after. I always feel welcome in the home and the staff are all lovely. Seven members of our family attended the annual B.B.Q and all were very impressed by the friendly atmosphere. The home is clean and the food is amazing. All my husband's needs are catered for.

My mum was a resident at Park House for the last five weeks of her life. In that time, she was incredibly well cared for. All of the staff treated her with dignity and respect, allowing us precious time with her. She felt as though she was part of a family during her stay, and it is clear to see why - she was treated with care, kindness and compassion at all times. Thank you, Park House.

I can see that she is well looked after, you are doing something that I am no longer capable of.

For our mum this home has been like a real home from home. The manager and his team are very accommodating in every aspect of the resident's care. The visitors are treated with utmost respect and courtesy.

My mother passed away on 9th May all the staff, whether cleaner or cook. Manager or carer, offered me nothing but respect. Thjey were all so lovely and kind, we had a cup of tea with cake as a remembrance of mum. Can't thank them enough. Saying thank you does not cover their care and support.

I am so very pleased that my mother is in the care home. Her care is second to none and nothing is ever too much trouble. Since she has been here from being so very poorly, she has put on weight and is able to tell me she is very happy here.

2. Some of the carers in particular have been extra helpful and more kind to my Mum.

I believe the care my mother is receiving is excellent. The carers and nurses are very attentive. I would like to make a special mention of one lady who is proactive, caring and professional. She makes the residents feel special.

My mother has been here for many years and enjoys every minute. They look after her extremely well. For example, they take her to the hospital and stay with her for many hours until it's time for her to come home. Always having a laugh with her which she enjoys and many other small ways makes all the difference. It certainly was the best choice of all other places to live here. I thoroughly recommend.
