To be honest I would recommend Manor House to anyone. All the staff I come across are excellent and friendly and caring. Always have time to chat with mum and me if any problems.
Since moving in during June 2017, I have found the level of care provided to be very satisfactory and all staff are friendly and helpful.
My only slight reservation is that the standard of food provided, however, this is no reflection on the staff.
My mother-in-law has been a resident for a year now and she is so happy. Every time we visit she praises up the staff, the food, everything. When we first visited I was impressed by how clean everywhere was, if I could have booked a room there and then I would have done, for myself.
I have been here for just over 2 years. I am fairly satisfied with my care home. I am well cared for, comfortable and safe. I have a good rapport with the staff. We have a good laugh together.
I have been here just over a year. I am very well looked after and have made many friends. The staff are brilliant and have such a laugh with the residents. The home is always very clean and there is always a very friendly atmosphere here.
Airy, bright room. Warm, friendly atmosphere and staff. Good food and plenty of organised activities if required. All in all a beautiful setting.
The staff are great; cheerful and genuinely very caring. They treat residents with respect and are amazingly patient, catering for people's individual needs and preferences with personal attention.
Activities and entertainment are reasonably frequent and varied.
Food is homemade and good, always with some choice.
By and large, my mother is quite happy at The Manor House and I feel content that she's being very well cared for.
My partner has just suddenly passed away. He had been at The Manor for nearly a year and a half. During that time we have found so much kindness from the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely. I cannot fault anything. Sometimes my husband was depressed at being wheelchair bound after spending his working life outside with his animals, but there was always a carer to talk to if I was not there.
God bless each and every one of the staff.
Since my uncle has resided at The Manor House, the care and quality have been more than he or I could have wished for. Every carer, workers and manager have been so very kind and helpful especially at a very difficult transition period. I would highly recommend The Manor House to anybody. It's so clean, the food is excellent and plentiful. Everybody is so friendly and can't do enough. Five stars. Everybody you ALL need to be very proud. Set in beautiful woods and the well-kept garden is a credit to the gardener as well.
The Manor House is a lovely environment with a good atmosphere. The carers are, without exception, wonderful, kind, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The home is tastefully furnished and the views from the downstairs communal rooms over the gardens are trees are absolutely lovely. The Manor House is well equipped and well run and its tranquil setting is, I am sure, very appreciated by the residents.
The new manager listens to our concerns re: our mother and really doesn't so something about it if they can.
All round an excellent home now which I would not have reviewed 18 months ago.
The home is clean, the decor attractive and the carers always helpful and cheerful. Mum has settled in well and has a lovely room with a nice outlook. There always seems to be things going on in the home eg. entertainment or bingo although mum has only been to one.
Lovely room, clean. The carers very helpful and friendly. Manager always helpful and cheerful. Entertainment good. Music, bingo and many different things during the summer and winter. Gardens looked after well and I am very satisfied with the way things are. Thanks.
My first thought was I was going into a lovely hotel. It sparkled! Each time I visited every member of staff I met smiled and said hello. It has such a warm feeling and gives you the impression they are one big happy family. You actually feel that there is constant care for the residents. A big thank you.
The care provider pays attention to the most smallest of details. At meal times the table is laid. They come down to your level when they speak. They do not talk over you. It is always clean and smells fresh. The meals are great and the staff are outstanding. Nothing is ever a problem and they are there when you need them. Communication is good. Everyone seems to work together, they create a joyful and harmonious place of residency. It's a breath of fresh air to know a place like this. More care providers need to lead by their example, we would not have the problems we have.
My friend has been in Manor House for about 4 years. The place is always clean and beautifully presented. Food is lovely and suitable for age group in quantity and presentation. The staff are lovely, so caring and giving. Aware of individual needs and taking time to learn about each resident. I am always welcomed and enjoy my visits.

“The overall environment in the home is marvellous – it’s perfect for people who have lived in North Norfolk their whole lives, offering a rural setting. There is a real sense of happiness at the home and great team spirit!”

I have worked at The Manor House for more than 25 years and there is a family feel here which extends to the residents and staff. We fully support the team and work closely together to help each other. It's a nice place to work with lovely surroundings. Paula, the manager, always makes a point of thanking the staff every day so they do feel appreciated.

I have worked at the home for 6 years, working one day a week as a Care Assistant. After almost 24 years working as a Senior Medical Secretary, I have joined the home as Administrator. Already having the knowledge of the home has been a huge advantage in starting my role as Administrator. I have a close working relationship with the Home Manager.

“My favourite part of my day is talking to the residents and making sure they are happy with the menu and offering them lots of choices. I love getting positive feedback from the residents and staff. My recent promotion to head chef took me out of my comfort zone but I have supportive colleagues who I can get advice, support and help from.”

John plays a vital role at the home making sure everyone is safe. A number audits, inspections and reports need to be completed daily, weekly, monthly. John is a well respected member of the team.

I am medication trained, and I take pride in being a loyal member of my team. I have an excellent rapport with all of the residents, and I work hard to maintain that relationship. I am grateful to be a well-respected member of the team, and I strive to continue earning that respect every day.

I have been working at the home for over 20 years, and I am the most dedicated and loyal member of the team. I love my job because I get to make a difference every day. I am respected by all my colleagues.

With over 35 years of experience, I hold NVQ Health and Social Care levels 2 and 3, plus Safe Handling of Medication level 2. I feel privileged to look after our residents, making them laugh and feel well cared for. We strive to make them feel at home.

I am responsible for the night care of our residents. I lead a small, loyal night team and supervise their work. I am responsible for writing all the nighttime care plans and monitoring the records in terms of daily fluid intake.

Being an activities coordinator is a fantastic role. I love art and crafts, music and nature. So, arranging and delivering a variety of activities to our residents, seeing the smiles and enjoyment it brings and their achievements in taking part, gives me a great sense of satisfaction.

I enjoy keeping the home clean, tidy, and organised because it's such a beautiful place. I enrich residents' lives with my laughter and singing.
