Also since the Dr diagnosed a Hiatus Henia with me. The cheffs have been very kind in providing food which suits me. One is kind enough to buy Feta cheese on her way to work. Because that suits me very well.
We are very grateful and humbled by your kind words and hope we can keep offering the same excellent service to all our residents.
The Warren provided my mum with a wonderful respite experience. The staff were kind and caring. There were lots of lovely activities organised including a boat trip. Also VE day party and a visit from a singer. Thank you!
We are pleased to hear that you had a positive respite experience at the Warren. We aim to offer an excellent service to all of our residents every time. It is truly rewarding to be able to witness how the activities enrich our residents life and give them a sense of purpose.
Thankyou.
It was a pleasure to have you in the home, even if only for a while, we are happy to hear that you had a positive experience at the Warren. We wish you all the very best in your new journey and hope to hear from you soon.
When my father-in-law [assed, all of the staff without exception acted with proffesionalism. Treating him and the family with the utmost respect and with dignity. It was also a mark of respect that as he left, the staff lined up outside. I myself cannot fault the staff or the services that they supplied whilst he was in their care. So, many thanks.
Thank you for your kind words, your feedback has been shared with the wider team. We strive to offer an excellent service for every resident at every stage of their journey in the care home. Your Father in Law will dearly be remembered by the team for the warm, lovely friendly man he was. Best wishes to you all.
From the moment my dad went into The Warren nothing but compassion and empathy. Dad was very much against going into a home but even he said it was like going from home to home. Nothing was to much trouble. Unfortunetly dad passed away in the Warren, but the dignity and compassion shown to dad and us as a family went over and beyond. Thank you all for making our dad's stay where he was very happy and content to the end.
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have met your dad. He will be missed by all.
He had a very nice Room and all the staff with no exceptions were absolutely lovely. and made his stay very enjoyable.
Thank you for your valuable feedback, it was a pleasure having Dad stay with us. Lovely to have met you all, you are more than welcome to visit us again, to join in with the activities, or just a cuppa and a chat. Wishing you all well.
This is our second month, so sorry my husband is now in a nursing home due to his falling too often. Whenever I have been able to attend some more of the activities in The Warren which suits me and keeps my interests activated. Hopefully the rest David is receiving will help his condition and we may live together again before too long.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is lovely to hear that you are enjoying the varied activities program at the Warren and hopefully your husband will be able to join you again soon. Nothing makes us more fulfilled, than seeing our residents happy and enjoying life.
The staff are brilliant and always friendly and helpful.
She particularly enjoys the activities - especially the outings. Kirstie is fantastic.
I feel mum's room is a little small. It would be great if she had more space in her room to do her own crafts.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are very happy to hear that Mum is enjoying the activities, especially the outings. Kirstie has definitely been organizing a variety of activities for the residents and there has been quite a few trips too. Her enthusiasm for the job is contagious and...
When my family member got diagnosed with dementia we were always worried about finding the right home. The staff and management helped to make the transition as smooth as possible for both my family member and the rest of us. During his time here they have been so supportive and nothing has been too much trouble for them. As a family we can't thank them enough for everything.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it is lovely to hear that you and your family feel supported by the team at the Warren. Although the staff receives dementia training, this is always a daunting journey. A caring and warm environment is what helps residents feel at home and families are always welcome to visit. He was happy with the food choice and the kind staff.
I found the management team very helpful to deal with and really have no complaints. It was my husbands first experience of respite care, I think he found it difficult to integrate with the other residents.

Thank you for your valued review we are delighted that you are happy with the care your mum is receiving. We look forward to seeing you at the community events and other activities that you join in with.
Mum was in The Warren for 12 months the last couple of months, largely bed-bound, and died peacefully in her room. She has been well cared for - with professionalism and real warmth. The facilities are excellent and care all might be hoped for. In her last days she was comfortable and at peace. Family and visitors were always welcomed. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. It was our pleasure to look after Mum, as well as meeting you all. May I take this opportunity to wish you all well.
The care that mum received in the final weeks of her life was outstanding. The senior care staff, in particular, went out of their way to ensure Mum's comfort and wellbeing. Medical assistance was sought at the appropriate time and their experience of working with people at the end of their life was evident. They communicated with the family at every stage and showed compassion as well as offering practical advice. Thank you.
Many thanks for your feedback, this will be passed on to the team. It is lovely to know how compassionate the staff was towards Mum and it is brilliant to hear that you found the care outstanding. As a team, we work hard to incorporate the Barchester values in everything we do and we aim to deliver an excellent service at all times.
My Mother in Law has been a resident for a few years and her needs have changed recently. All the carers look after her with respect, understanding and patience.
Thank you for leaving your feedback. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the celebrations on Mother's Day and that the care your loved one is receiving is meeting your expectations. We look forward to welcome you to the home again soon.
After a few weeks getting my mother settled in to a different way of life, she seems to be settling. The home is always warm, cosy & the staff are very kind & caring. Most days mum seems to like the food & the choice which is offered. The entertainment staff are amazing, my mother has enjoyed the variety that is offered in a daily basis. Overall I feel the Warren is the right home for my mother.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review The Warren Care Home. It is heart warming to hear your kind words, we will make sure your feedback will be passed on to the team. It is wonderful to be trusted as being the right home for your loved one.
Taller people would benefit from a longer bed in respite room. Larger frame over toilet would help.
Thank you for your suggestions, I have passed these on to the relevant department. We appreciate your kindness and hope the respite period was enjoyable.
