Staff are always very friendly + welcoming and my husband is well looked after
Its always a pleasure looking after John, thank you so much for taking time to provide us a review and the good words you have said.
I have found staff helpful and will assist. With any thing I have asked for or about.
Thank you for taking the time to provide St Marys a good review, this will be mentioned and celebrated with out staff team.
The staff are really attentive and genuinely affectionate towards the residents in their care.
I have found them very professional and keep me informed of anything they think I may need to know about mum. It is also the small things I've noticed. They are really welcoming to visitors and their hospitality is great. They make a real effort for Christmas, birthdays and any sort of celebration the family has with mum. I'm really glad we chose this care home for mum. I wouldn't want her to be placed anywhere else. She's told me she is really happy here.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback; we really appreciate it. Our goal is to provide care that focuses on each persons needs and wishes. It is a pleasure for us to take care of your mom, and we enjoy working together with you to help her live her best life. Your input helps us...
She was happy, safe and comfortable, which she would often tell me. This was down to the calibre of staff and the way it was managed, and I believe that this was fundamental to her extended well-being.
The home is cosy and warm, and the lounge has a homely feeling. I remember the sound of giggles shared between the activity's coordinator and my mum when I video-called her.
The home and her room were always kept spotlessly clean and tidy and always smelt fresh and clean. Food was always appetising and plentiful, and she frequently mentioned how much she liked it.
Care was genuine and spontaneously warm from all of the carers, a testament to the calibre of the managers and the carers. Their personal support finally was phenomenal. I cannot thank everyone enough.
Your feedback is highly appreciated. This will be very helpful to other families looking for care homes to look after their loved ones. It was a pleasure taking care of your mum and to work alongside you for her general well-being. Thank you very much!
The staff at St Mary's House make this care home so great. They are so kind and compassionate. All our family and I are so grateful to them for looking after my nana. She was so lucky to find this place. I work in care homes myself and this is by far the best one I have been to. It really is the people that make this place so good.

Mum moved in January 2016. For the last seven years, the nursing home has looked after Mum with 100% care and respect, and Mum was loved by many carers as well.

Very happy with the care given to my mother during her stay at St Mary's House. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were always kept informed of my mother's well-being.

The staff at St Mary's sought our knowledge of him as a person and used our ability to communicate with him whilst they developed their own. In particular, they listened when, against all apparent evidence, I said that he'd always had a wanderlust and needed to be moved from his room. This has been spectacularly successful.
But above all, the staff have a very loving relationship with him - they make each other happy. In his own words: "I like it here; they take good care of".
Thank you very much for your honest feedback on the service. My dad was a resident at St Mary's House from July 2021 until he passed away peacefully at the care home on the 9th of February 2023. Although I live in London and could not visit as much as I wanted to, due to the very professional and caring staff, I felt reassured that my dear dad was being looked after with the utmost compassion and dignity.

It's all about the level of care for the individual, and St Mary's scores top marks for this. All staff are helpful and supportive, friendly, compassionate, sensitive and understanding. We honestly could not ask for better. Highly recommend it without reservation.

Mum was a resident at St Mary's care home from November 21 to May 22. It was the fifth care home Mum has been in and by far the best. The staff were amazing, kind, caring and thoughtful carers. They treated Mum with respect and always took time with things, which Mum needed due to mobility and dementia. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The activities were amazing, and all residents encouraged to join in. All that is mentioned online is very true, their aims and objectives, what they offer is their philosophy. I really can't praise them enough! Overall, very well managed, staff kept informed, and a pressure for my mum to have been there.

Can't thank the whole team at St Mary's House enough. Dad was only with the home a short while, but within that time, it was clearly a lovely run home. Very professional staff, great leadership, always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

My dad was in St Mary's care from June 2021 to November 2021. He was always kept clean, and well looked after. I was always made to feel welcome whenever I went to visit my dad. The manager at the home is a lovely lady and always pusses on any relevant information. One particular lady who works at the home goes above and beyond her duties to make the patients happy and well cared for.
Thank you, Ann, for leaving St Mary's House very good feedback. We aim to provide person-centred care to all our service users and staff to deliver the highest quality of care according to our core values. I wish we can identify that particular staff so we can personally acknowledge her hard work and commitment. I am glad you felt welcomed during your visits.
I have seen nothing but kindness and understanding from the staff at St Mary's both to my mum, who is very challenging indeed, and to myself and our family in our distress. The home is always clean, the gardens are a great bonus, and the food looks delicious. The staff have looked for all ways possible to make my mum happier in her very delusional, increasingly confused and anxious state. The staff are very dedicated, and the home is managed by a very caring, dedicated and professional manager, and many have been working there for many years and have accumulated a lot of varied experiences.

My dad went into this care home from the hospital; he was very frail and looked terrible when he arrived. He is, unfortunately, bed-bound and unable to feed himself. From the first day of arriving at St Mary's, he has definitely improved. He is very well looked after, and the food looks very appetising, which Dad seems to enjoy. I just wish my dad could enjoy the other facilities of the home, which look so homely and inviting. I'm happy that my dad is being well looked after.
Thank you for your feedback, Linda. We aim to provide person-centred care to all our service users and staff to always work according to the core values of the company.
As a family, we found St Mary's to be a compassionate and caring environment for our father. St Mary's House is an old building (formerly a school) on the edge of the lovely market town, which our father had links to. The staff were very helpful and looked after us well when dad was at end of life.

My mother had lived at St Mary's House for the last two and a half years and passed away on 1st April 2021. During that time, the care she had from all staff was exceptional. She felt at home there, and she felt safe, which was important to me for peace of mind. Mum was always praising the staff up and would not have a word said against them. The care considerations and love they showed towards her she thought was marvellous, and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
Thank you very much for your very kind words to the service and towards the staff Diane. We always aim to provide person centred care to all our service users and to live up to the core values of the company.
We looked at a few care homes and chose St Mary's House as this one was the best. Staff are very friendly, interact with the residents very well and all seem happy in their jobs. Residents are kept clean and are well provided for, especially with drinks, snacks etc. I was impressed when we moved my father in - while he was in the lounge, I was putting his clothes away and a carer came into the room to see who was in there. I had accidentally stood on the pressure mat and within a minute or so they had answered the alarm. We are extremely pleased with everything. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the very nice feedback, we endeavour to provide excellent care to our residents who are the centre of our job. I will pass this recognition to the girls who do the wonderful work day in and day out.
They are always ready to help at any time. My room is light and spacious and I have always felt safe.
Although I don't come out of my room much, which is my choice, but I am always included in activities and have P.A.T. Dogs visit me a lot which I love.
Good care home. Residents very well looked after, including medical care when needed. Overall care very satisfactory.
