My mum was in residential care in February and was extremely unhappy. I took the decision to move her two weeks ago, the welcome we both had was very different and positive. She has a lovely en-suite room looking over the gardens. She’s well looked after and comfortable it’s very difficult giving up
your independence at 90 but we are hoping she’s going to settle in well.
