Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We were welcomed to the home and stepped into a very warm caring environment. Our cousin, who was very distressed and anxious, settled immediately and was happy and content. She was registered with a local surgery so was receiving the proper care from the start. We enjoyed visiting her and her "friends"
as she called them and she had the best Chrismas ever, with parties and lots of fun. She sadly passed away but the loving care she received was second to none.

I find the home to be very friendly and of great support. They have a very demanding job which they carry out with great care and attention. We as a family are very happy for our mother to be cared for and supported at Burnside.

All the staff respect and treat all the residents with dignity and kindness. They are always on hand regardless of how busy they are, to answer any of my questions. My Mother has settled in well and has a good relationship with all the staff. She thinks it's a very nice hotel!

Overall carers are willing, pleasurable and really helpful. Mealtimes are sometimes difficult with the shortage of staff and don't have enough time to help very slow eaters and those having difficulty. Medical care pretty good. Food good. Toilet poor. Hands and face not washed often, especially after
mealtimes.

My mother has been resident at Burnside court for five years. I chose this care home because the staff have been there for a long time, it feels happy and homely and it smells clean. She has been very happy there and feels safe and content. The staff are very caring and treat all the residents with
respect. The only problem is it is an old house and there are problems with the lifts and downstairs toilet.
