My father has been a resident at The Malthouse for over a year. The staff at the Malthouse are fantastic and create a caring and respectful environment where my father feels content and well looked after. At the age of 85, having been a life-long complainer about quality of service, he only has praise for the service provided by The Malthouse. This speaks volumes about this care home! He enjoys the space, the food and the hospitality of the staff. The infrastructure is good - spacious, clean, bright and accessible. My own experience of this home is also very good. There is an excellent personal rapport between me as a family member and the management and care teams. There is always a positive, friendly atmosphere when I visit. I truly feel that the whole team care deeply about the best interests of the residents and their families. Thank you to the whole team for being so active and engaged and caring so much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this wonderful review for our home. It is a pleasure to care for your father and we all look forward to many more happy years to come. On behalf of all the team, a huge thank you for your continued support.
We had a lovely afternoon at the garden party. Great food, entertainment and a warm welcome as usual from all staff. Great to spend time with my brother.

My mother has been at The Malthouse for the past seventeen months and is settled and very well cared for. She has very good relationships with all the staff, who are always cheerful, and helpful and really do their utmost to enhance mum's quality of life. There is an open, friendly and homely atmosphere on visiting. It feels to be a very nurturing environment. There is always a full program of interesting activities. The staff are always willing to help when I take Mum out. We, as a family, are very happy that mum is living at The Malthouse.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. I am really glad your mother is so happy and settled here. It is both our pleasure and a joy to help care and support her. Your kind comments will be passed on to all the team and a big thanks on their behalf.

Moving my Grandmother into a care home towards the end of her life was a hard decision but was the best decision we ever made. The staff are friendly and simply can’t do enough for you! The Malthouse has a real family and homely feel which we loved. My Grandmother was very happy here and I shall be forever grateful to all of the outstanding staff for the love and support they showed us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send this review. It has been an absolute pleasure to care for your grandmother here and we are only saddened that we didn't have more time with this wonderful lady. On behalf of all the team a huge thanks for your kind words and thank you for choosing our Home.
The care and attention given to my cousin is of a high standard over the past six years. All staff are friendly and very welcoming, which gives peace of mind to know she is well cared for.

My mother arrived at The Malthouse in a poor state direct from hospital in Norwich in September 2016. I was working in the area at the time so it made sense for her to be near me. She had, until late August 2016, been living on her own with carers coming to her house in Norfolk four times a day for half an hour each visit. She spent the remaining five and a half years of her life at The Malthouse, receiving excellent care from the wonderful staff throughout. She died comfortably in her sleep in mid-March 2022, 3 months short of her 97th birthday. I never imagined that she would survive for this long. I never heard her complain about anything and she had nothing but good words to say about everyone at the home.
Thank you for your review and very kind words. It has been a pleasure to care for your wonderful Mother here at The Malthouse and she is much missed. On behalf of all of the team we are sending heartfelt thanks for your support for the past five and a half years.
The malthouse cared for my father for over three years. Throughout that time and despite covid restrictions, the staff/carers were compassionate, professional and always friendly and welcoming. They really did provide a 'home', and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

My father recently received excellent, professional and compassionate care. The staff are kind, caring, attentive and made my father's 'end of life' the most dignified, peaceful and comfortable experience anyone could have hoped for.

During her stay, she was treated with care, compassion and dignity; as were my sister and myself during this difficult period of time. Thank you so much for your comments, it was such a pity Mum wasn't with us longer. It was a pleasure to get to know her and you all as a family.
My mother lived at The Malthouse from March 2020 until her passing in December 2020, during the covid 19 lockdown. The staff were magnificent. She was looked after with love and respect, so important at a time when I was unable to visit her. I recommend them with all my heart.

My mum was so lucky to spend the last few years of her life in such a kind and caring home. Every member of staff has always been so friendly and understanding. As a family, we are incredibly thankful to you all.

My aunt received conscientious, affectionate care from a team dedicated to the physical and social wellbeing of the residents. The management put their ethos into practice through the carers who worked with humour and compassion.

Thank you so much for your review of the care delivery here at The Malthouse. It was a true pleasure to get to know and look after your aunt.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you felt your relatives personal alarm was not responded to in a timely manner, however we would have very much liked to have known this at the time to enable us to deal with this situation promptly. We do wish you all the very best and do hope that when possible you can pop and see us again, for that cup of tea.

It became their home and the care and support they received from the Manager and her team were fantastic. Both my husband and I were so delighted to have found such a wonderful place to spend their remaining years. Thank you to everybody.
Thank you so much for your comments. It was indeed a pleasure to look after both members of your family and to get to know you all so well. We will miss seeing you.
I find the home a lovely place to live. All are so friendly and helpful. Ask, and they will help you if possible. It is so much better than living at home as I am getting more disabled and have no family. I am so well looked after.
