Dad lived at Queensmead for 3+years. I cannot fault the quality of care. Management and all staff were exceptional. Thank you so much for caring for my dear dad.

It is a difficult situation as most of the residents have dementia, some quite badly. The staff deal with this calmly and compassionately. Sometimes it would seem there are not enough staff to deal with these challenging clients.

Queensmead is an excellent care home is pleasant surroundings. The staff are very kind, caring and patient with all the residents and treat them with the utmost respect.
The food is good and varied and the residents are encouraged to participate in the activities if they are physically and mentally able to do so.
Visitors and friends of the residents are also welcomed in a friendly and caring manner.

My husband has been a resident in Queensmead since August 2018 and is very happy, contented and settled there.

My in-laws moved into Queensmead care home in May 2017. Although my father in law had to move on in September 2017 due to complex needs, the staff did everything to keep him safe and happy. It is a great comfort to us that our mother is so well cared for and nothing is too much trouble to staff. I cannot recommend highly enough.

My dad came in 18 months ago and had increasing severe Alzheimer’s. He was so well cared for and allowed to be himself ( which meant lots of singing and wandering around!). The staff were always so welcoming to family and nothing was ever too much trouble. We trusted their judgment completely.

He had quite a rapid decline and in the final few days, the care and respect the staff gave to both our dad and us was outstanding.

My Mother has been in Queensmead for over 4 years.

Although the building is getting tired the care she is given is excellent. I am kept informed of any issues and I am very happy with how she is treated.

My Aunt entered the home and was immediately treated to a welcoming committee. From that moment all the staff treated her with warmth, humour and respect, they are wonderful. The communication between management and staff was wonderful and they couldn't have been more kind to my aunt and her family and friends. I take great solace that my aunt spent her last days in such a special place as Queensmead. Thank you.

After an initial 2 weeks respite care my husband returned to Queensmead just over 6 weeks ago. Much to my surprise, he has settled in amazingly well due, I am sure, to all the attention he is getting from staff. There is a nice friendly atmosphere and it doesn't feel like a care home.
