There is a lovely atmosphere at the Home and everyone is caring and interested in his wellbeing.
My brother loves the food, which is varied and delicious, and there are plenty of activities arranged each day.
Previously he was at home alone and very isolated but now he enjoys the company and friendship.
Thank you.
Dear Veronica, thank you so much for your kind words about our home, and we are honoured you chose us to care for your brother here at Branksome Heights.
Warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean, Branksome Heights hugely exceeded all my expectations when Mum checked in for respite care. Without exception, all Staff are genuinely helpful and kind, providing top class personal care and medical intervention. With comfortable private accommodations, light, airy and homely public spaces, extensive and varied daily activities and delicious, beautifully presented daily menus this facility provides a true "home from home" experience
Thank you Alison for this heart warming review, your feedback is very valuable to us and means so much to the staff and their hard work. It is a pleasure to look after your mother.
Branksome Heights is a superb care home, The excellent staff combine authentic warmth with true professionalism and care. My father has lived here since January and he has been so happy here, constantly admiring (as I do..) the cleanliness, kindness and care of the staff. They take a real personal interest in the residents that makes them feel that this really is their home. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this lovely review, it is an absolute pleasure to look after your father.
Mum moved into Branksome Heights just a week ago after a 4 month spell in hospital after a fall. Prior to this she had been living in her own home & was naturally very anxious about moving to BH. However, from the moment she went through the door she was greeted with such genuine warmth & friendliness she felt settled almost immediatly. Her room, the care given to her, the food & all the staff are wonderful. Early days but so far we are all very happy to have found BH.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review of Branksome Heights, it is our pleasure to care for Mum.
All the staff have treated her with compassion and dignity at all times.
The staff have kept us up to date at all times regarding her health and well being and are always at the end of the phone if we have any questions.
The catering provided for the residents is amazing and my mum loves all the food that has been prepared.
The list of weekly activities provided is second to none, it keeps my mum active and engaged and she loves taking part.
We as a family are so relieved with our choice of care home for my mum as Branksome Heights has delivered in all areas.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, it is our pleasure to care for your Mother.
my 95 year-old father moved into Branksome Heights we were naturally anxious and concerned about how he would settle. From the very beginning, the kindness and warmth shown by everyone there put our minds at ease. The staff didn't just look after him, they cared for him with genuine concern for his wellbeing, this level of care was also extended to as a family.
They took the time to get to know him, to listen to his stories, and to make sure he was comfortable and content every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The respect, patience, and gentleness that was shown to my father gave us peace of mind. We will always be deeply grateful for the love and dignity they gave him in his final months.
Thank you to the entire team at Branksome Heights, you made such a difference to our father's life, and to ours.
With sincere gratitude
Thank you so much for your kind words, it was our pleasure to look after your Father.
Branksome Heights has been an amazing find....the staff as a whole, are absolutely fantastic and make a great team from top to bottom. As a family we are super happy that Dad is so well cared for, and is completely at home in a great safe environment. Would like to also point out that Dad has quite high standards and often says that you can't fault the home in any shape or form. He also compliments the staff in all ways and is extremely complimentary about the food. As I said earlier, a great find and a job well done by all.
Thank you for your kind words about Branksome Heights.
Branksome Heights is a warm and welcoming care home with exceptional staff who truly care for the residents. The home is spotless, comfortable, and has lovely gardens. Meals are excellent, and the activities keep everyone engaged. We feel completely reassured knowing our loved one is so well looked after here.
Thank you so much for your lovely kind words about Branksome Heights, it is a pleasure to look after your Father.
The staff at branksome have changed my Nan's quality of life for the better and have put mine and my family's mind at rest. My Nan was at home alone with a care package but was unfortunately not able to get out and see people. She was missing that social aspect and interaction with people other than her carers. The transition into the home was seamless. All the staff are really friendly and have made her feel so welcome. The activities in the home are great and although she may not always feel like joining in she is always invited. The food looks amazing and nan said it's tasty so that's a plus too. Overall a great experience so far.
Prior to my relative becoming a resident of Branksome Heights, he would take respite breaks there. He was always very complimentary about the care he received. He is now a permanent resident and on the occasions I have visited I have always been made to feel welcome by any staff member whom I happen to come across. My relative is always taking part in activities - as seen in photographs on social media - and I think that is brilliant and more to the point he is well cared for. The food is exceptional for a care home. I really do think it's a lovely care home.
Thank you for such a kind review, it is a pleasure to look after your relative at our lovely home.
The home is light and airy, always clean, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The whole team is very friendly, helpful, caring and go over and above what we expected. Everyone takes the time to welcome and engage with you.
Mum enjoys taking part in the daily activities, which are inventive and fun. The food is great and I enjoy joining her for the occasional meal.
My sister and I feel very content knowing Mum is in a safe and secure home where she still has the level of independence she wants but with the care and support of the team around her.
Well done Branksome Heights!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review, it is our pleasure to look after your mum.
Dad came to stay here for a couple of weeks and ended up extending his stay for a few more weeks. From the minute he arrived until he left, the care and attention he received was wonderful. Everyone who works here gives 100% to the residents, nothing is too much and everybody is always smiling and happy. Any request I had for Dad was always given the utmost attention and followed through. As a visitor, I received more than I would have expected and treated with kindness and it was a pleasure to visit my father every day. I have nothing but praise for the staff and would highly recommend this care home.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, it was our pleasure to care for your father.
My mother has been a resident for over two and a half years and I've been very happy with her care over that time. We have good communication between the home and me. I like the fact that they retain staff and my mum has familiar faces around her and her care is personalised to her individual needs. The facilities and activities provided are good and although Mum doesn't always join in, they appear to be wide-ranging to appeal to all of the residents.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, it is our pleasure to care for your mother.
Everyone is welcomed with open arms and the staff are very friendly and help out with anything we ask. You can see and speak to the manager if she's in or if not, there's always someone to talk to.
It's always kept very clean and the residents are kept entertained and busy every day, the food is lovely and if you go out and come in late, they will always have something for you.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, it is our pleasure to look after your mum.
My friend needs a lot of support and it was very clear to me just how much care and gentle attention he is given. Staff seem to know his needs and preferences so well. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The premises are kept beautifully and the variety of thoughtful and engaging activities is wonderful. I can see a real improvement in the physical and emotional health of my lovely friend since he moved there. Another fabulous thing is how my friend's wife, one of my closest friends, is so relieved that her husband is so well cared for. It's such a blessing for her to know that her beloved husband is happy.
Should I ever need that level of nursing and care, I would count myself very lucky to stay at Branksome Heights Care Home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.
Being a fussy and plain eater, anything my dad asked to be cooked was catered for whenever requested.
The cleanliness of the place was second to none and plenty of staff on hand to assist, day or night. I cannot thank them all enough for caring for my dad and would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a care home for their elderly loved ones or just for respite care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, we are glad your father enjoyed his stay with us. Your comments have been shared with our wonderful team at Branksome Heights.
Branksome Heights is like a luxury hotel. You are always welcomed in a warm, friendly manner by all of the staff. The lounges, restaurants and other rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a wonderful feeling of serenity and all the residents look so relaxed and happy. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. My father's health has significantly improved since being a resident at Branksome Heights due to their high level of nursing care and kindness. I have total peace of mind that my father is being looked after in the best possible way. A big thank you to everyone at Branksome Heights.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review about our wonderful team at Branksome Heights, it is our pleasure to care for your father.
The home feels more like a hotel with personal and extra special touches (like daily cakes in reception and beautiful, seasonal floral displays and decorations) and is absolutely spotless everywhere.
The rooms are of a high standard and the communal areas, such as lounges, dining rooms, quiet areas and the garden and extensive terraces, are all superb.
But above all, the staff are wonderful; whether it's the care team, reception team, housekeeping, maintenance team or management team, everyone has time to talk and always gives a warm welcome.
I get great communication on my father's health and residents are encouraged to be engaged in activities and entertainment. It really has the personal touch. And to now have a dedicated specialist dementia nurse available, plus a nursing team is such a luxury.
Thank you so much for writing such a lovely review, it is our pleasure to care for your father. Your wonderful comments have been shared with the amazing team at Branksome Heights.
Can't praise them all enough.
Thank you everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we are so glad you enjoy our social events as much as we do!
Having spent a huge amount (daily)of time at Branksome Heights visiting, all I can say is fantastic. Apart from the daily activities, entertainment, food and parties, the care is second to none. My friend calls it the 'best hotel' in Bournemouth. I have visited at all times of the day and evening and it's always the same. I speak regularly to the staff and management, and can say every single one are fabulous. My friend went for 2 weeks respite, she loved it so much she decided to make it her permanent home, the best decision she has ever made. 4 months in, she is loving every moment being there.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

Meet the Team (6)

"I am very proud to call myself the home manager here at Branksome Heights, bringing over 10 years of healthcare experience in various roles throughout the different departments. I qualified as a nurse in 2023 and have since gained huge management experience, too, which enhances the field of knowledge here. My main objective is to maintain the impeccable reputation Branksome Heights has, by keeping the family approach and feel to the home, and having the residents' and staff's well-being at the forefront of our values."

I have worked at Branksome Heights for the past 5 years and I am thrilled and very proud to be the Deputy Manager of such a kind and caring team.
Branksome Heights combines traditional with holistic care and ensures that each resident lives a full and enriched life and it is a pleasure to be part of that.

Joining the dedicated team at Branksome Heights is a great opportunity for me, especially at this special time having newly received their Nursing Accreditation. I bring with me 37 years of nursing experience, the last 18 of which have been in the Nursing Home sector, with the last 10 years as Clinical Lead. I have previously worked as a Ward Sister in a local Private Hospital in Women’s Health and as a Breast Care Advisor, helping patients from diagnosis to follow up.
I am very happy to have joined such a fantastic team as Clinical Lead of Nursing, and look forward to developing this new, and extremely valuable additional level of care to the home to compliment the already successful Dementia and Residential care.

I was delighted to join the team at Branksome Heights in July 2023 following studies for my Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity.
Whilst studying, I worked as an Administrator at the bank with the NHS. Everyone at Branksome Heights has been so welcoming and supportive, including the lovely residents. I started working in Hospitality/Reception and was delighted to be promoted to the role of Home Administrator. The Home is very beautiful with a warm, friendly atmosphere and a special place to work. I am married with one small son, and in fact, my husband also works here at Branksome Heights as a Senior Night Support Worker. We both really enjoy working for Kingsley Healthcare, and our work fits in so well with our family time, too.

I have been working in care for over 11 years and Branksome Heights is my passion. I treat all residents as I would my own family. I am happy to see care staff improve in their work through my support and mentoring which is a key part of my role.

I have worked in administration for many years and in a variety of roles. I particularly love the Care Home environment and feel right at home here at Branksome Heights, helping to create a warm, friendly welcome to the home. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships with residents, families and staff.
Branksome Heights is only a short walk from my home and is in such a lovely area, surrounded as it is by woods, parks and close to the sea. It is a joy to see residents’ families coming along to take their loved ones for local trips out and for walks to Coy Pond and through the Chinese to the seafront. I enjoy being creative and love producing menu designs, writing our newsletters, and sometimes the occasional poem
