Mum went in for respite care in Jan after a bad fall hoping that her mobility would improve but that didn't happen and mum is a permanent resident. Even though she didn't want to be there but this was the best/safest option for her.
Mum likes routine and the staff have been marvellous in making her
settle in, from her hot tea first thing to hot milk at bedtime. We can't fault them, they are friendly, helpful and truly care for their residents. They have been enticing her to eat, even down to cooking her favourite meals. We are totally reassured that mum is receiving the best care possible. It's clean, bright with lovely furnishings and several quiet sitting rooms that family can go in but the main sitting room is lovely. The dining room is set out like a restaurant and the meals are beautifully presented. We have brought in pictures etc to decorate the room making it more homely. We have had problems sorting out her medicines, pain relief etc but we are getting this sorted.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my father received during the time he spent at Branksome Heights. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive and took a personal interest in my father and genuinely cared about his wellbeing. The care home is new, clean and beautifully furnished and his room
was large, light and comfortable. In particular, I would like to praise the work of the manager and deputy manager who kept us fully informed when my father became seriously ill and required extra care. When I called at 11.00 pm from overseas to enquire about his condition, the deputy manager immediately called me back and took time to let me know how he was going. The home welcomes visitors at all hours and encourages residents to eat together and join in activities. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.

The home were very helpful and accommodating to assist with the move from hospital. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are good and the premises are very clean and well maintained.


Having visited several homes in the area, this one stood out as one with a good feel, very welcoming,

bright, clean and with staff that cared. I would and have recommended people to this care home.

My father recently moved into Branksome Heights and has settled well, receiving the best possible care. All his needs are well catered for and he thoroughly enjoys his meals. He is encouraged to socialise with other residents and to join them which he does, especially for mealtimes. His room is lovely
with a view of the beautiful garden.
My mother was transferred to the home this week in difficult and quite traumatic circumstances. The staff welcomed her and have made huge efforts to care for her sympathetically. She has been treated with respect and kindness. As a family, we have been kept informed of her progress, something that had been lacking in hospital.
The home is patient focused and my parent's needs and care are paramount at all times.

We were extremely impressed the moment we stepped through the door and met the manager and deputy manager. Our friend's former home of four years closed down and we were anxious to find another caring home that would suit her needs. Without doubt, we feel that Branksome Heights will fulfil this role.
Our friend has been very anxious about the change but we have seen how understanding and caring the staff are to ensure her needs are met and that she will get the utmost care and treat her with dignity and respect.

My husband has received excellent care since his admittance 10 days ago. The staff are very kind, experienced and competent. The home has only recently opened and everything is pristine.
He very much enjoys the food, he has a comfortable room with an ensuite, large windows, TV and a special bed.
He
needs and receives a high level of care. I cannot recommend the home highly enough.

My mother has been in the home since 20/3/17. She has been made to feel extremely welcome. Also, my family have been treated very well on visiting. The home is very clean and furnished to a high standard. Although she has been here only 8 days, I am very pleased that I moved her to Branksome Heights.
It is so superior to her previous home.

Joining the dedicated team at Branksome Heights is a great opportunity for me, especially at this special time having newly received their Nursing Accreditation. I bring with me 37 years of nursing experience, the last 18 of which have been in the Nursing Home sector, with the last 10 years as Clinical Lead. I have previously worked as a Ward Sister in a local Private Hospital in Women’s Health and as a Breast Care Advisor, helping patients from diagnosis to follow up.


I am very happy to have joined such a fantastic team as Clinical Lead of Nursing, and look forward to developing this new, and extremely valuable additional level of care to the home to compliment the already successful Dementia and Residential care.

I was delighted to join the team at Branksome Heights in July 2023 following studies for my Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity. Whilst studying I worked as an Administrator at the bank with the NHS. Everyone at Branksome Heights has been so welcoming and supportive, including the lovely residents. I started working in Hospitality/Reception and was delighted to be promoted to the role of Home Administrator. The Home is very beautiful with a warm friendly atmosphere and a special place to work. I am married with one small son, and in fact, my husband also works here at Branksome Heights as a Senior Night Support Worker. We both really enjoy working for Kingsley Healthcare and our work fits in so well with our family time too.

I particularly love the Care Home environment and feel right at home here at Branksome Heights, helping to create a warm friendly welcome to the home. Branksome Heights is only a short walk from my home and is in such a lovely area surrounded as it is by woods, and parks and close to the sea. It is a joy to see residents’ families coming along to take their loved ones for local trips out and for walks to Coy Pond and through the Chinese to the seafront. I enjoy being creative and love producing menu designs, writing our newsletters, and sometimes the occasional poem
