All of the staff at Branksome Heights are excellent....the management, the carers, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, activities. They are kind, friendly, patient, hardworking and fun and really do care for their residents. I've been so impressed with them all.

From our first interaction of the phone, we were impressed and reassured by the friendliness of the staff and the welcome we all received was warm, open and welcoming. My Mum is updated regularly on how my Dad is doing and we feel that there are genuine care and concern, not just for him, but for my
Mum. The home really does feel like a home and has reassured us that we are making the right decision moving him from reception to permanent care.

From our very first visit, we have been very impressed by the general atmosphere of friendliness by all the staff and a feeling of calm. We have been kept informed all the time as to my husband's wellbeing and feel totally confident that he will be very well cared for.

I cannot complain about anything in this home.
The staff are always polite, kind and patient.
The food is usually very good, you always get a choice and if you don't like something, you get an alternative. The staff are always very welcoming to visitors.

It was a difficult but necessary time to place my father-in-law into a home. It was no longer possible for my mother-in-law to care for him at home. At the age of 90 and having spent 67 years together they needed to be apart, following a fall it would be no longer possible to care for him at home. All
the staff were so lovely and respectful. Unfortunately, his time in the home was only a short one as he sadly passed away, but as a family, we are so pleased and grateful for the wonderful care he was given, nothing was too much trouble.
The home was beautiful, clean and friendly at all times of the day, residents were calm and you could see happy with being there. The staff always greeted us with a smile and was forthcoming with how he was. I could not recommend Branksome Heights enough. Very professional but a real family feel could not have asked for more from a care home. Just sad he was not able to enjoy all the amenities that were available.

A beautiful care home. We looked at others in the area before we chose Branksome Heights and were glad that we did. All of the staff really looked after my father with the greatest respect and care. Dad had been wheelchair bound for some years but following a stroke lost the use of one side and was unable to eat solid food. The wonderful staff at Branksome Heights took him into their home and into their hearts and made his final 15 months relaxed and comfortable.
The home had all the facilities
and equipment to enable his care, tasty meals that he could manage and activities every day but the kindness and compassion of the staff made it special. Dad was always clean and tidy whenever we saw him and everyone made us welcome when we popped in. When we left for home we knew he was in safe hands. We will always be thankful that dad found a place at Branksome Heights.

Branksome Heights stepped up quickly to provide urgently needed respite care for my 98-year old father following a series of falls at home. He settled there quickly and is now staying on. The facilities are light and modern, with pleasant sitting areas and dining room. The individual bedrooms are also
agreeable and spacious, with a very practical bathroom and access to a small outside patio. The staff have an excellent manner and have taken very good care of my father, enabling his condition to stabilise after a period of decline at home.
My only criticism would concern the food, with too few healthy eating options and especially very little fresh fruit or vegetables. It is, however, excellent that relatives and friends can join residents for lunch or tea in the dining room.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am sorry that you have experienced some issues regarding fresh produce. We very rarely use frozen vegetables as we prefer to cook from fresh. We have fresh fruit available at all times and healthy options are available for all meals. We will make this clearer on our menus from now on.

From the first day I walked into Branksome Heights I have been impressed with the staff and the home. My parents are being very well looked after and my wife and I are always very well received when we visit. The staff are all very open and friendly. The room is excellent. We could not ask for more.

The facilities and feel of Branksome Heights are amazing and the staff are very attentive. We move my mother-in-law to Branksome Heights from Coventry so a big move. We cannot overplay how relieved we are to have found this home. The manager and all her staff have been incredible, letting my mother-in-law
settle into her new home for the rest of her life.

I have been looking after all my mum's affairs including the sale of her house and finding a care home. We have moved mum to Branksome Heights on a permanent basis and I cannot express my relief at the choice we've made. The facility itself is modern and bright but most importantly, the staff are fantastic.

Very warm welcome. My husband was looked after very well; clean and shaven, clean clothes. The staff were very caring, helping him with his meds. Food was nice and plenty of it. One well looked after chappy! Thank you!

I find this home a wonderful place to live in. I have made a new life here. I am a new man now.l the captain of this ship has steered me from turbulent waters to heavenly waters. If I had a million pounds I would, without hesitation, donate half of it to this home, although it does not need any further
improvements. I would recommend this home to anyone in need of care in the world compared to other homes.
The captain is fully responsible for this and needs utmost commendation and should be considered for higher promotion.

Joining the dedicated team at Branksome Heights is a great opportunity for me, especially at this special time having newly received their Nursing Accreditation. I bring with me 37 years of nursing experience, the last 18 of which have been in the Nursing Home sector, with the last 10 years as Clinical Lead. I have previously worked as a Ward Sister in a local Private Hospital in Women’s Health and as a Breast Care Advisor, helping patients from diagnosis to follow up.


I am very happy to have joined such a fantastic team as Clinical Lead of Nursing, and look forward to developing this new, and extremely valuable additional level of care to the home to compliment the already successful Dementia and Residential care.

I was delighted to join the team at Branksome Heights in July 2023 following studies for my Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity. Whilst studying I worked as an Administrator at the bank with the NHS. Everyone at Branksome Heights has been so welcoming and supportive, including the lovely residents. I started working in Hospitality/Reception and was delighted to be promoted to the role of Home Administrator. The Home is very beautiful with a warm friendly atmosphere and a special place to work. I am married with one small son, and in fact, my husband also works here at Branksome Heights as a Senior Night Support Worker. We both really enjoy working for Kingsley Healthcare and our work fits in so well with our family time too.

Branksome Heights is only a short walk from my home and is in such a lovely area surrounded as it is by woods, and parks and close to the sea. It is a joy to see residents’ families coming along to take their loved ones for local trips out and for walks to Coy Pond and through the Chinese to the seafront. I enjoy being creative and love producing menu designs, writing our newsletters, and sometimes the occasional poem
