My uncle spent the last few years of his life at The Laurels and was very well looked after. The staff were very caring. When my uncle arrived at The Laurels he was very underweight but within a matter of months he gained weight and looked much healthier and happier. It was a comfort to me that my uncle was in such capable hands.
I enjoy living at The Laurels and the care I receive is very good. All the staff are very kind and considerate. The food is excellent. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I enjoy the entertainment. I am very comfortable here.
Very clean - NO SMELLS. friendly staff - residents well cared for.
Very clean no smells. Friendly staff, residents well cared for.
I have lived here since September. It suits me, its comfortable and clean. The staff are really lovely and friendly and helpful.
All the staff are all very caring and lovely. I have no concerns over the care my granddad is receiving. They always make sure he is ok and if having a bad day will go out of their way to help him feel better. Just want to say 'Thank You' to all the staff for making us all feel so welcome.
Lovely homely care home with happy dedicated carers who encourage my mum and help her with music therapy crafts, dance, singsongs, outings and helping mum live with dementia. I would recommend.

Meet the Team (2)

As Home Manager at The Laurels and Pine Lodge Residential Home, I am proud of the journey I have taken, and I feel deeply privileged to work with such a dedicated team and wonderful residents.
I began my career here as a carer and over the years, through determination and a passion for the care industry, I was fortunate enough to progress through the roles from Senior Carer all the way to Home Manager.
I love what I do and feel privileged to make a difference in our residents' lives. Person-centred care is central to my approach, ensuring every resident is treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. It's not just about providing care; it's about building meaningful relationships and ensuring that each resident feels like a valued part of our family here at The Laurels and Pine Lodge.
I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and to continue providing the highest standard of care for our residents. Every day is a chance to learn, grow, and make a positive impact, which makes this job so special to me.

I have worked at The Laurels and Pine Lodge for ten years now, starting my career with Hartford Care back in 2013 as a Care Assistant, becoming a Senior Care Assistant in 2017 and now being promoted to Deputy Manager.
I love working here, we have a fabulous, supportive team at The Laurels and Pine Lodge, and I love being able to give the residents and their families the best care possible and uphold the company values of care, comfort and companionship.
