My experience of Cary Brook Care Home has shown the hard work and dedication of all the staff there for an excellent run care home for my mother. Well done and thank you.

Kind and caring by all staff involved with my husband. Only there for six weeks prior to dying but he was looked after so well. All staff at Cary Brook Care Home look after everyone so well, including all visitors.

I cannot recommend Cary Brook Care Home more highly, from the standard of care, the staff, cleanliness, support and help. My mother continues eighteen months to release her beautiful 'smile' and this makes me believe she is happy and well looked after. The staff, most of who have been working at Cary Brook for a long while, are superb with their ever-friendly manner and are a credit to Cary Brook.

On the whole, we are mostly met by staff who have a positive, friendly demeanour and seem happy to see us.

Mum is always clean and tidy which makes us think she is well cared for. Staff are always happy to talk to us about any issues Mum may have, which are few. Mum seems happy and is liked by all.

A lady had an apartment in the same development where I had an apartment. We found that we had much in common and became close friends.
This lady was later diagnosed with dementia and a place was found for her at Cary Brook Care Home. She has been a resident for one year and I have visited her once every two weeks, subject of course to the virus.

The staff at Cary Brook have been most helpful throughout in arranging these visits and attending to my requests, putting flowers in water and having lunch together.

The care my father is receiving from Cary Brook is excellent. The staff are kind, helpful and extremely courteous. When he was recently ill, they were very efficient in organising him to be seen and treated by the GP. They have also sorted without any fuss the oiling and syringing of his blocked ears. I am also impressed by the measures of safeguarding the residents from the various nasty viruses that we are plagued with. I would definitely recommend Cray Brook to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

Due to compounding and difficult circumstances, my husband and I could not make an appointment to see my father, who had been admitted to Cary Brook Care Home in September, after the unexpected death of my mother (his carer) in August. We literally had to turn up on the doorstep.
However, the manager listened to our situation and then went to great lengths to permit a visit with my dad, who I have to say, after not being able to see him for the last two months (we live abroad), looked amazingly well. Clean, shaven, dressed smartly, and looking happy and contented, it was lovely to be able to spend time with him. Clearly, he was being well cared for, and the few staff we met were warm, kind and thoughtful; exactly the sort of people you would want caring for your loved ones when you are unable to.
We can return to our home abroad with some peace of mind.

Thank you Cary Brook.

My dad, who had dementia, was at Cary Brook Care Home for a little under a year until he passed away. I was amazed at the care he received. Such amazing staff. He settled very well. They knew exactly how to manage Dad’s dementia. To encouraging him to eat (he gained weight) to personal hygiene. I am extremely grateful to each member of staff for their patience, care, knowledge and understanding of dementia and I know Dad would have been too. A fantastic care home who made me feel at ease knowing my dad was happy and content.

My wife went in to care here this year she has Alzheimer's I was dreading it but it went better than I could have wished for, she seems very happy and relaxed. I take her out a few times a week and going back is never a problem the staff are really good. I choose this home because local people said it was very good and I am glad I did.

My sister-in-law, for whom I have Power of Attorney, has been at Cary Brook for two years. She has dementia, but her care could not be better. She is well attended to and her dignity respected. What more can we expect. Recommended most highly.

My first visit to see my mother who recently moved into Cary Brook. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who expertly did all the arrival checks and tests - Very polite, efficient and helpful.
The home looked lovely as we were taken to my mother's room. My mother's room was very welcoming and homely, a large room, nicely decorated, airy and bright.
We had a lovely visit. All the staff we met were very professional, polite and welcoming.

We left very happy, knowing our mother is well looked after, we look forward to our next visit in a few days. Thank you to all the Cary Brook staff.

Since arriving from the hospital, her mobility and interest in life were improved due to the lovely care, food and activities. We have a wonderful picture of her holding a large owl! She loved the quizzes, art and craft and love music sing-a-longs. The local surgery tended her cellulitis with great effect. Her smiles did not lie; she was very happy at Cary Brook.

I cannot thank the staff at Cary Brook enough, they are, well a long list of complimentary words and phrases probably starting with deeply caring. A more understanding, listening, compassionate group of humans you would find hard to put together. I am grateful that the last weeks/days of my mother's life are in such good hands.

Cary Brook is a very pleasant and welcoming care home. The atmosphere is one of contentment with the staff showing care and compassion to the residents. There is often entertainment for those wishing to join in and gentle persuasion to join activities eg making biscuits, cakes and quizzes.

During the residency of my former brother-in-law at no time did he express a wish to return to his former home. He was always very content and happy, for which we heartily thank you.

After 2 unsuccessful attempts of finding a home where dad was happy, it was 3rd time lucky with Cary Brook.
Dad enjoyed all the outings and activities as well as the food. Very friendly staff who were always willing to assist.

I can't praise Cary Brook too highly, it was recommended to me and I will recommend to anyone.

Lisa WarneJob Title:Registered Manager

Being the Registered Manager of Cary Brook is such a rewarding and interesting role, and it truly is a privilege to care for and get to know our residents who are living with dementia. Listening to the residents’ life stories is both amazing and surprising – it is unbelievable how much some of them have done in their lives, and they are a real inspiration to me. I love it when the residents come and sit in the office with me to have a chat.

Cary Brook is a homely and friendly place, filled with laughter, singing and smiles. My close-knit team support each other and goes the extra mile for those in our care. It is so rewarding to know that our residents feel at home here, and to receive feedback from their loved ones to say how happy they are at Cary Brook.

I am a very approachable person and always happy to have a chat, so if you would like to find out about how Cary Brook can support you or a loved one, please get in touch.
