Mum has Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. She has needed 24hr care for around 18 months now, her home being Coombe End Court since August 2018.
During this time, her care needs have rapidly increased and staff have embraced the new plans for her with professionalism and great kindness.
Mum, despite struggling with every daily task always appears cared for. The team go beyond the pale to ensure the residents' individualised needs are met and incredibly make the home feel "like home".
Activities Coordinators help enhance the overall happiness and wellbeing for residents, always trying to involve everyone.
The management team have always been extremely open and helpful if we have had any questions or concerns at any time. I am very very happy and extremely grateful for all the care and commitment the staff in every department have shown in this particularly challenging period of time dealing with the Coronavirus lockdown.

We miss Mum horribly but have absolute confidence that she is happy.

Beautiful building and gardens. Clean and good atmosphere. Nurses are kind and willing but unable to give quality of care due to short staffing.
Some of the night staff are unwilling and seemed to lack experience, resulting in the failure of the conveen and wet beds.
My husband needed help with the toilet, transfers in/out bed. Long delays in answering the buzzer resulting in a fall and embarrassment.

The best part of the day is Daycare which provides superior care.

I love visiting my Mum at Coombe End Court. There is such a nice atmosphere. The staff are amazing. The food caters for all and always looks appetising. The main reasons for choosing the home was based upon how social everyone is, that wants to be, and the activities available to the residents. My Mum is always saying that it feels like a first class hotel. Thank you.
