For taking care of my mum over the last ten weeks.
I can't thank you all enough for the care and kindness you gave her. I know mum thought the world of you all.
She really loved being there and would tell me how happy she was to be cared for at the home.
And she did think of it as her home. She was always
Bright and cheerful when I came to visit her.
She made new friends and never felt lonely or left out.
Quarry Mount was a great choice for her from the care she received to taking part in all the activities that went on. She thoroughly enjoyed everything about the home.
Thank you again for caring for my mum.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. It means a great deal to our whole team to know that your mum felt happy, cared for, and truly at home here at Quarry Mount. It was an absolute delight to care for her and see her enjoy life in the home, making new friends and joining in with activities....
I cannot praise Quarry Mount enough for the kindness and care given to my mum after she moved in. On her first day she was obviously upset has she had had to move from her previous home. By the afternoon she was singing into a microphone with a fantastic singer; tapping her feet and smiling, they had made a real effort and told the singer her favourite songs. She has happily settled in and enjoys the activities that are provided. We are reassured that they are a care home that goes the extra mile to ensure the care and support the residents need. I would not hesitate to recommend Quarry Mount to anyone needing care for a loved one.
Brilliant care, keeping my mother in law active with plenty of stimulation. Great surroundings and all staff approachable, activities in the home are brilliant with great variety. My mother in law was treated very well yesterday when she had a funny turn, other residence seem very happy and friendly towards each other with a lot of interaction
Thank you so much for your very positive review. It is really good to hear you are so pleased with the care and that your mother in law is enjoying the stimulation with all the activities. The staff will also be delighted to hear this!
Well its 10 months since my last review and I still think coming to Quarry Mount was the right decision for me. in my last review in 2024, I said how I had this homely feeling when i walked in and still feel the same, its a happy place where care workers and management put there heart and soul in to caring for us. We have top entertainment with first class entertainment person. the management care deeply about our health and feelings, we have freedom of speech, and we are listened too! Although the building is old, it is very comfortable, with comfortable rooms which we can make our own. Since being here I feel I have been very happy and would recommend this very caring home to any one.
Thank you so much Gill for your very kind and positive review! It really is a pleasure having you live with us as part of our Quarry Mount Family. The staff and managment will be very appreciative and delighted to hear you are so happy and that you feel so at home!
On July 3rd it was my Auntie's birthday and so I went with my husband and parents (my 97 year old dad is her brother) The staff were considerate of dads mobility and made sure we had cold drinks as it was a hot day. Auntie was given a birthday cake and staff sang to her as they bought out the cake. This is done for all residents irrespective of visiting relatives. This I have found out having been there at times of other residents birthdays. They had organised a singer as there was more than one birthday being celebrated on the day. What a kind thought!
Auntie is always kept clean and provided with company and good nutritional food. Always kept with fluids of hot and cold as is necessary. On this day Auntie was bright and happy and it was good to see.
Thank you so much for your very positive review. We are delighted that you are so happy. Auntie J is a very much loved member of our Quarry Mount Family since moving in nearly 10 years ago!. The manager and the team will very much appreciate your kind words.
Staff are always friendly, polite and very attentive to the residents. We believe that our relative is very well cared for, with lots of effort being given to ensuring pastimes and activities are personalised, helping them feel comfortable and safe. We often receive detailed updates on their wellbeing and the staff are always happy to arrange video calls for when we are unable to visit in person. The management is brilliant and works with genuine care for the residents.
Thank you very much for your review, we are delighted to hear of all your positive observations and that you are so happy with the care and attention your loved one receives - we will of course pass this on to our team.
I am extremely happy with the care that my mum receives from all the staff at Quarry Mount. She seems happy in herself and is always well-presented. Management are very helpful and always pass on anything I need to know, for instance if Mum is unwell. The care home is a lovely environment for the residents and always kept clean and tidy. I would recommend Quarry Mount for its excellence.
Thank you so much for your positive review, we all at Quarry Mount are delighted you are so happy!
Amazing care home for my mother, I cannot praise the staff enough, they make everyone feel like it truly is their home and they are amongst people who really care. They are so very professional in everything they do. Their response rate is excellent whenever there is any potential issue regarding health ensuring Mum is seen by a doctor, nurse or other professional immediately then straight away letting me know not only that there is an issue, but how they are already responding to it. They also keep everyone as busy as they want to be, take time to find out what they like doing or are interested in, provide a varied programme of entertainment and activities, spend time with each of the residents individually and are really easy to talk to when I have any questions or concerns. I really feel my mum is in safe hands!
Thank you very much for your kind review, we are delighted that you are so pleased with the care and provision given to your mother at Quarry Mount.
My dad stayed at Quarry Mount for some time till his passing. The staff and the manager were amazing. So lovely caring and helpful. They will be forever in my thoughts for the time they supported my dad and our family. Thank you from me and family.
Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted that you were so happy and will certainly pass this on to all the staff. It was a real privilege to take care of your dad as part of our Quarry Mount family!
Rooms are fairly basic, but very well cleaned on a daily basis and residents are encouraged to spend time in the lounges and conservatory.
The home has an open door policy for visits and from what I can see good relationships with the area they are in.
Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted that you are so happy with your mum's care and will certainly pass this on to all the staff!
Always received very good response from staff when I’ve requested help with my sister. She appears to be content on most of my visits. But would prefer her to be moved at the earliest opportunity to a bigger room where I’m sure she would be happier as this is one of the complaints she has. Her room is very small. The staff are kind and helpful at all times to my sister. I visit regularly and never have a problem with them.
Thank you very much for your review and for your positive comments regarding the staff at Quarry Mount, we will be sure to pass these on. We are pleased that we were able to give your sister the opportunity to move to a larger room, and to accommodate her when she decided she preferred her original room as she said it was cosy and closer to her friend.
We booked my father into Quarry Mount for 5 days while we attended my daughter's wedding. Although physically quite well my father is 94 and very forgetful. We needed somewhere for him to stay that could care for him and also get him ready for the wedding service. Being able to leave him in the care of the manager and the team and concentrate on our wedding planning, knowing he would arrive at the right place and the right time in the appropriate clothes. was a huge weight off our minds. All the staff at Quarry Mount were extremely helpful and my father was very grateful for the care they showed him while he was there.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It was a great pleasure to look after your dad on your trip to the area for a family wedding. We are very happy you were so pleased with the care and attention he received during his visit with us. We hope we are able to welcome him again in the future one day when you visit the area.
Mum is very happy in Quarry Mount Care Home. If we have any issues the manager and her team deal with them as soon as they are made aware of them. Staff are really lovely and very friendly. We call it a home from home.
Thank you very much for your review, we are delighted that your mum is so happy at Quarry Mount and that you feel the manager and staff team are so supportive.
All staff have been helpful and respectful to myself and more importantly my mother. My mother is well looked after and great care is given to keeping residents entertained with outings when possible. Queries I have are listened to and dealt with as promptly as possible as I realise management can be very busy. Overall, in the 2 months my mother has been at Quarry Mount, I have no complaints.
Thank you very much for your review, we are so pleased that you feel you are listened to and also reassured that your mum is well looked after and receiving great care!
The staff were and always are brilliant and kept us updated on how Mum recovered from this.
Thank you very much for your review. We are so glad that your mum really enjoyed all our celebrations in the home for the Coronation. The staff will be very pleased to know you are so happy and we will definitely pass this on.
I only have good words to describe my dad's experience whilst he's been living at Quarry Mount. He has settled in so well. It's a relief to know he's very safe. The staff I have met have all been very nice and polite. The management are great too.
Thank you very much for your kind review, we are delighted that you are so pleased and will certainly pass this on to all the staff.
Generally, everything runs very smoothly and staff are very attentive. Although food is generally good, more attention to client menu requests, when food is served up, would ensure they get whatever they ordered. Sometimes requests take a long time to fulfil due to forgetfulness. I am happy with my mother’s care in principle, it just requires a few tweaks that I am sure the manager will have sorted.
Thank you very much for your review and positive comments and ratings. We take on board all feedback given as this helps us in rectifying any issues allowing us to address them as soon as possible.
She's a star and is representative of all the staff at the home and epitomises what families look for in a fantastic care home manager.
Well done.
We are delighted that your aunt has settled so well in one of our bungalows which is helping to fulfil her independent needs. We also very much appreciate your kind comments regarding our Manager and all the staff team.
Mum and Dad are really well looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to give your review. We are delighted you are happy Mum and Dad are being well looked after.
Mum moved into Quarry Mount in October 2021. The staff made Mum's move from her home into Quarry Mount very smooth. I cannot thank them enough for the care mum is receiving. She is really happy, which puts my mind at ease. Mum loves the regular singalongs. I would have no problem recommending Quarry Mount to friends and family, who have need of care.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It is lovely to see how well Mum has settled in and enjoys all the entertainment!
