I would like to thank one staff member in particular for her organisation and enthusiasm for our church service today Friendly, helpful, welcoming.
Thank you for your kind words, it was our pleasure.
My mum has lived here for over a year now. I was worried about the transition from living in her own home to being in residential care, but the staff have made her so very welcome and have a genuine affection for Mum, so my worries have eased. Mum says that she feels lucky to be here. She has a pleasant flat which is kept clean and fresh. Food is cooked on the premises with great care and attention. If issues arise staff listen and make changes. There have been some lovely variety of activities and events this December to make Christmas special.
Thank you for sharing! We're delighted your mum feels at home. Regards, Teresa
To be made sure he is treated as though he is their family as well. It's just not a job but a vocation of love.
Thank you for your heartfelt review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. With warmest regards, Teresa
I have been visiting a good friend for the last number of months. I am very impressed by how comfortable and homely I find it at Lucton House. The flat is really lovely and my friend is very happy living here. I have seen a great improvement in her wellbeing and I know she enjoys the food provided. She is all in all much better living here in such lovely surroundings after leaving her lovely home. The staff are always very helpful also.

Unfortunately, I visit my mother only once a month so it is difficult to be totally objective. However, I am helped by relatives and friends who have visited. I continue to be amazed at the dedication and care provided by staff at Lucton House. They di go above and beyond. It is a great environment and I always feel comfortable leaving my mother in their capable hands. I just think more inventions could help activities.
Thank you for your review. We will pass on your kind words to all our staff, Teresa.
To date Mom is now very happy, she loves the food, activities and company.

My sister has been in the home for 9 weeks. Up to now, all seems fine and pleased with my sister's care.

Since Dad has been at Lucton House he is a changed man. He is doing things that he has never done before, like colouring, painting, participating in the general activities. I don't know how the staff manage to get him to agree! Because I can't. Dad is looked after very well and I know that if anything was wrong, I would always get a call from one of the staff. They are all very pleasant and there is always someone around should you need help. They have even helped me when I was struggling with everything that was going on, which I am so grateful for. They are like my second family. Keep it up! and thank you.
Thank you so much for your feedback! Your kind words truly mean the world to us - we'll be sure to share them with the entire team.
I visit my friend on a regular basis and she is always happy and in good spirits. She has no complaints about the home. She says the food is good. She enjoys spending most of her time in the common room, as she likes being in company. She gets on well with all the staff.
Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that your friend is happy and enjoying her time at the home and your feedback means a lot to us.
On-site management is excellent. Very well-led.
Main organisational finance person/team can try to practice "sharp practice."
However on-site finance very good and helpful.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you find our staff caring and our management excellent.
A care home with very attentive and caring staff who make visitors very welcome. A pleasant garden for residents to enjoy. A lounge for residents to relax in. TVs in each room. Hospitality to visitors.
My husband is content at Lucton House. Everything possible is done for him. Staff are very supportive.
Thank you for your review. We're pleased your husband feels content and well supported.
I came to Lucton House from hospital four months ago, unable to walk and in need of regular medication and visits from district nurses. The transition was kind and welcoming and my care and recovery have remained well-organised. My surroundings have been comfortable and peaceful and all the staff have been kind, helpful and supportive. The garden would benefit from some beautifying - safe paths and flowers for residents to be able to be out and enjoy the green space.
Thank you for your positive feedback about Lucton House. We're delighted to hear that your transition and recovery have been well-supported by our dedicated team.
Lucton Care Home is now light and airy, pleasant aroma in reception, the staff are very helpful and caring, and the food looks and smells delicious. Which is lovely for people visiting their loved ones. Thank you.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback about Lucton House Care Home! Your kind words mean a lot to us and will be shared with the team.
Every time I have come to visit my auntie I have always been impressed at how kind the staff are and how well cared for she is. The staff seem to genuinely care for her and she is always telling me about the lovely activities they have there for residents. On a previous visit, I sat with her for lunch and was also impressed at the communication cards used for displaying food options as they were really helpful. Overall I think this is an amazing place and they have really gone above and beyond, providing opportunity for my Auntie to have a better quality of life.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear about your positive experiences with our staff and facilities. Your kind words mean a lot to us!

A big thank you to the manager and catering staff.
We truly appreciate your thoughtful words and the time you took to share such outstanding feedback with us. Thank you!
I attended a birthday party for a resident during the month of November and I have to say how impressed I was with Lucton House. The staff were extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and visitors alike. The residents were constantly kept engaged with staff encouraging them to join in the celebrations. The facility was very secure and clean. A lovely buffet was provided for residents and guests alike. I only looked at one room but it was very spacious and had its own kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. I would absolutely recommend the home.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience of our home. Our team works incredibly hard to ensure our residents' needs are met and we also like to make sure we take the time to enjoy special occasions. Warm regards, Teresa.
