As my uncle has only been at Lucton House just over one week, it is difficult to give a balanced view of the home. So far I feel it's a good environment even though my uncle is having difficulties adapting to care home life.

We have been so pleased with the way that Lucton House has dealt with the covid19 situation. Mom has been kept safe and well throughout this time. There have been plenty of activities for her, and she is happy. Regular photos have been put on Facebook so that we can see what she is doing and that all
is well. We have not worried about her at all and are grateful for the love and care that has been shown to her.

Myself and my sister are happy with the care Lucton House staff give to my sister. I feel I can approach staff with any worries we have both had with recent times. Lucton House are meeting all my sister's needs with regards to her personal hygiene and mental needs.

Have been very impressed with mom's care during the lockdown which continues now we can visit weekly. Fortunately, my mother seems ignorant to the circumstances at times and is happy most times we visit. Keep up the good work.

My aunt is well cared for at Lucton House, in both physical and mental health way.
She recently had to spend a few days in hospital following her fall and the welcome she received upon her return from both the manager and assistant manager made her feel wanted.
Like many care homes, staffing can
fluctuate and I know she has felt that a certain member of staff's move to another care home has left her a little bereft as she had a good relationship with him.

Lucton House is a friendly care home with a fantastic atmosphere and fabulous service, its like a home from home. They have made mum feel very welcome and comfortable and always go the extra mile. Mum feels safe and secure as her eyesight is poor and she loves the food. Mum just feels that more entertainment

My mom has been a resident at Lucton House for almost 2 years, during this time many changes have been implemented which are having a positive impact on the home and residents.
The change in management has made a massive improvement in the overall running of the home.
The majority of staff are extremely
friendly and caring, they treat my mom with kindness and dignity at all times.
They do a fabulous job which I appreciate can be both difficult and challenging at times.
I would like to thank them for making mom smile and for taking the time to make her feel special.
It is rewarding to see her face light up.

Since moving into Lucton House we seem to have more of Mum back to her normal self as much as she can be. Lucton House is a very safe, happy and comfortable place for our loved ones to be. Food and accommodation is amazing and the staff are absolutely fabulous. I'll put my name on the list now!

Lucton House has a lovely, homely feel. The staff are always pleasant, always keep me informed if anything is wrong with Mom. Great food, good activities programme. Although my mom likes to stay in her flat, everyone knows her very well.


I feel Mom is well looked after, and I leave knowing she is
