Over all time Lucton House has 118 reviews.
My sister has been treated and well looked after. Facebook says it all that she is happy and enjoying all the activities.
My thanks to them.
My first impressions of Lucton was reassuring being greeted by staff who were positive, pleasant and helpful when we needed that most. It was upsetting that the lockdown happened when Mum had been in Lucton for just 2 weeks, but we had good advice and positive feedback when we were so needing it. The staff are just how you would like them to be and have been so positive throughout these challenging times.
Thank you for leaving a positive review. Our team always makes a positive and long-lasting first impression as we want to reassure all family members that their loved ones are in good hands. We are happy to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of care provided at Lucton House as we strive to ensure all of our residents are well cared for and made to feel at home. Thank you, and stay safe.
I find Lucton House deal with the current situation very efficiently. I just find it so sad to have only one visit per week to my mother, as I think it has had a detrimental effect on her dementia, but realise it has to be within the rules! I think the whole situation as regards residential homes should have been dealt with much more empathy by the Government.
Thank you for taking the time out to leave such an insightful review. We are extremely thrilled to hear that you are happy with how Lucton House handles COVID-19. We have had to ensure our guidelines adhere to the government regulations in order to maintain the safety of all of our residents. The...
The care and support that all the staff have shown my mum has been amazing, even when she has been aggressive. I cannot thank them enough for all they do for her and us as a family. All staff are incredible, kind and a great team.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The staff at Lucton House are always extremely supportive and well trained, allowing them to handle any unforeseen situation. Also, the team at Lucton House ensures all of our residents are well cared for at all times. Thank you, and stay safe.
Lucton House has been wonderful in their care and attention to residents needs. They provide a lot of activities and try to make Lucton a home from home. They listen to the residents and do their best to accommodate their wishes. I'm more than happy with the care my mother receives and it's a relief to know she is happy and well cared for.
Thank you for leaving such a positive review. We create carefully planned activities to ensure the mental and physical wellbeing of each resident. We are thrilled to know that you feel so positive about the level of care we provide for your mother, as she deserves nothing less. Thank you and stay safe.
Throughout the time my mother has been at Lucton House, the care has been excellent. It has been hard for Mum to adjust, but the staff have been extremely kind to her and me. They have obviously had a very hard time lately with the pandemic, and I think they have coped amazingly well.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. It's lovely to hear that you are more than satisfied with the quality of care that your mother is receiving. Moving can be a difficult process and adjustment for anyone, but hopefully, with the continued kindness and reassurance from our tremendous team, your...
As my uncle has only been at Lucton House just over one week, it is difficult to give a balanced view of the home. So far I feel it's a good environment even though my uncle is having difficulties adapting to care home life.
Thank you very much for reviewing Lucton House. I really appreciate that it is still early days for you to form a full view of the home. Everyone needs a 'settling in period' and I am sure that it won't be long before the team have your uncle feeling like he is perfectly at ease with them and in his new home. Kind regards
We have been so pleased with the way that Lucton House has dealt with the covid19 situation. Mom has been kept safe and well throughout this time. There have been plenty of activities for her, and she is happy. Regular photos have been put on Facebook so that we can see what she is doing and that all is well. We have not worried about her at all and are grateful for the love and care that has been shown to her.
Thank you for your wonderful review. I agree the team at Lucton House have done a wonderful job during this very challenging and worrying time. Gold Care Homes are proud to say that Lucton House remained COVID 19 free throughout the lockdown period and remains free, to this date, of the virus....
Myself and my sister are happy with the care Lucton House staff give to my sister. I feel I can approach staff with any worries we have both had with recent times. Lucton House are meeting all my sister's needs with regards to her personal hygiene and mental needs.
Thank you for your 5-star review. I am so pleased to know that all is well with your sister's care and you feel that you are able to speak to the team in the home, as appropriate for you. The Lucton House team do work very hard to ensure that both residents and families have the very best attention, at all times. Kind regards.
Fantastic home! Mom is happy here. We are too knowing she is safe and well cared for. Staff are very friendly and caring, couldn't ask for a better home. Well done Lucton House team!
Thank you for your review. Well done Lucton House Team, I echo your comments. Kind regards.
Have been very impressed with mom's care during the lockdown which continues now we can visit weekly. Fortunately, my mother seems ignorant to the circumstances at times and is happy most times we visit. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for your review and your thanks, both are much appreciated. Kind regards.
The staff are very nice to mom and good to my family and keep mom safe.
Lovely review, thank you, we appreciate the time taken to voice your opinion about our care home - it is much appreciated.
She recently had to spend a few days in hospital following her fall and the welcome she received upon her return from both the manager and assistant manager made her feel wanted.
Like many care homes, staffing can fluctuate and I know she has felt that a certain member of staff's move to another care home has left her a little bereft as she had a good relationship with him.
Hi Shelia, it can be like that when you start to develop a strong bond with the staff members, even so, we're happy that she is enjoying her time with us - Best regards.
Very welcoming, all staff and management embrace you an make you feel at ease and are very caring to all. As a visitor, they are so friendly and will do anything to help.
Thank you for your kind review, addressing our staff. We appreciate the time taken to review us - it's much appreciated.
On entering the Lucton House I had a good feeling and boy was I right, the carers are fantastic, good and love from all the staff. The welcome I receive is priceless. All well up to date with mom's wellbeing and could not ask for more.
What an incredible review, thank you, we truly appreciate your kind feedback - Best regards.
Lucton House is a friendly care home with a fantastic atmosphere and fabulous service, its like a home from home. They have made mum feel very welcome and comfortable and always go the extra mile. Mum feels safe and secure as her eyesight is poor and she loves the food. Mum just feels that more entertainment could go on but believes this is in place.
Thank you for your excellent and most kind review. We're humbled that you would say 'home from home', as that is exactly how we want everyone to see our care home - Many thanks.
My aunt has been a resident at Lucton House for over 2 years. I am extremely happy with the care she receives. I would highly recommend Lucton House.
Hello Karen, we welcome your very kind feedback, many thanks.
Early days, my sister seems to be safe and happy at Lucton House. The staff are really dedicated and always ready to help with smiles on their faces.
Wonderful, thank you very much for your kind, warm review.
Have seen a wonderful transformation in my husband. He is far more talkative and seems a changed man. So pleased and hope to bring him for another holiday break in a few months time. Thanks to your wonderful carers.
Wonderful comment, many thanks!
