My mother-in-law has only lived in Manor House for 4 months but wow what an amazing care home. She is like a new person. She's always clean and tidy and her room is kept beautiful. She has gained weight due to the variety of fresh-cooked meals and wow what a variety. The activity lady is amazing and caters for everyone's needs and they hold events we can all attend. The management is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. All I can say is thank you, it's like a big happy family.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It's fantastic to hear the difference you've seen in your mother-in-law since moving to Manor House, and that she is enjoying our freshly cooked meals, activities and events. Your kind words about our team and friendly atmosphere mean a great deal to us.
Best wishes,Sarah
The atmosphere at Manor House is homely and welcoming. Mom has Alzeimers and has has lived there happily for 15 months. She is always washed, dressed and cared for when I visit and her flat is clean and tidy. The staff are always pleasant, patient and helpful and have a good understanding of her condition. Management are easy to speak to, keep me well informed, and let me know promptly if there are any changes to her condition. The choice of food is good, and the staff have been very good at encouraging Mom to eat as she is a very fussy eater. There are lots of activities for the residents and they are encouraged to take part, or they can just sit and watch. There are also frequent events and celebrations where all the family can attend and join in.
Thank you for taking the time to share such lovely feedback.
It's wonderful to hear that your mum has been so happy at Manor House over the past 15 months. Knowing she feels settled, well cared for and supported by a team who truly understand her needs truly means a great deal to us.

Mom spent 3 months at Manor House before passing away, during which time she received excellent care from the moment she arrived. Everyone was welcoming, the staff all gel together to create a relaxed, happy and friendly environment. Mom's medical needs were met promptly and professionally with no delay in sending for doctors and nurses, etc. Plenty of activities and events, which staff work hard to include everyone. Residents are kept spotless along with the home itself. Giving up independence for a care home is incredibly difficult, but I would not hesitate in recommending Manor House and their amazing team.
Thank you for taking the time to share such heartfelt feedback about your mum's time at Manor House. I would not hesitate in recommending the Manor House to anyone looked for respite care. The staff go above and beyond in their care. They treat everyone with courtesy and respect. They greet all visitors with a smile. They have taken all the worry of leaving my husband and I know he is happy and well cared for. I can't thank each and everyone of the staff.
Your lovely feedback means a lot to us. Warm wishes, Sarah
I visited the Manor for my relative's birthday celebrations. They were held in the conservatory, which had been decorated for the occasion. Fresh food and drinks were laid on and we were looked after very well. Our relative was happy with the family gathering and seemed to enjoy our company and the food too. There was a nice ambience about the afternoon and I'm very grateful to all the staff who helped with this.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm happy to hear that the celebrations were a success. Best wishes, Sarah
Staff at The Manor House went over and above to make my aunt's 90th birthday a special occasion. My aunt is also looked after very well every day of the week. I would recommend this home to others.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words. Warmest regards, Sarah
Dad has been looked after really well. Cannot praise staff enough. Dad is well-fed and has options outside set menu, which he appreciates.
Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Best wishes, Sarah
I found all the staff I have had contact with to be genuine, caring and always upbeat. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they'll always take time out to answer any questions regarding my Dad.
I'd like to especially thank the excellent events co-oordinator and her daughter who always go the extra mile in providing activities, games and most importantly fun for my Dad and the other residents.
Overall I am really impressed by the home and how my Dad's care is managed. It gives me valuable peace of mind to know that my Dad is receiving the care and support he needs 24/7.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home and for such lovely comments. Best wishes, HM
She walks 100% better than when she was admitted and the care staff and all staff were so kind and generous
Would definitely recommended Manor House
Thank you so much for your kind words! I will be sure to pass them on to the wider team. Regards, Home Manager
From our initial dealings with Manor House to now, four weeks after mum moved in, we have been very happy with how the move has gone. Mum is as settled as she can be, given her dementia. The staff in the care home are absolutely wonderful. Every member of staff have shown such wonderful care for my mum, & have taken time to know her as an individual, which is so important. Management staff are visible, have good relationships with the residents, and the door to their office is always open. The activities organised for the residents are fun, plentiful and keep everyone engaged and involved. The activity coordinator is fun, enthusiastic and committed, and I can see the benefit that my mum gets from taking part. The food is great too. The staff have been so supportive of us as a family at the hardest time. We are very thankful we found Manor House for mum.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our home and everyone in it! It means a great deal when our residents and their families share their views and experience, so thank you for taking the time. Warm regards, Home manager.
Cannot find any fault with the facilities or staff. The staff are always very friendly and pleasant. The residents always seem very happy and well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Warm regards, Sarah
My mom, who has vascular dementia and is prone to falls, has been at the Manor House Care Home for 8 weeks now and will be a permanent resident here, she has settled in well and considering these 8 weeks were over Christmas and included a planed hospital admission for cataract I am surprised at how quickly this has happened. I put this down to the care staff and the accommodation who have taken their time to get to know my mom and what she likes. I was able to personalise her room with photos, memorabilia and small pieces of furniture from her flat so she felt safe and comfortable, I also believe this helps those with dementia as their health can fluctuate greatly if these are not in place. The safe also supports me with organising a new GP and accessing her health care needs from a different location as Mom came from outside of the Birmingham area. If you are looking for a friendly care home with lovely staff you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience of our home. We're delighted that your mom has settled well and you are happy with the service we provide.
