In the last months, Mum has had a good experience so far at Manor House. I have seen a change in Mum's ability to move her arm up and down due to a great active team. Manor House team are very helpful and supportive towards Mum and family. Asked for an afternoon tea for Mum to catch up with her sister, they had not seen each other for four years. Chef and team prepared a lovely afternoon tea. Keep up the good work Manor House team.
Thank you for your review. We will pass on your kind words to all our staff, Sarah.
My father has settled in really well at Manor House. He is happy, feels safe, and put on weight. It has a warm and friendly feel and the rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The staff are wonderful and treat all residents with respect and dignity. The entertainment coordinator is wonderful and works really hard to make sure residents are engaged and happy. The management team are also fantastic and any concerns or requests are dealt with swiftly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views and for recommending our wonderful home. Warm wishes.
Manor House is absolutely amazing. From the moment I set foot in the home to view it for my Dad I felt it was the right place for him. Sadly he was only there for 5 weeks before he passed away unexpectedly but the care Dad received was excellent. I cannot praise the staff high enough - absolutely everybody - nothing is too much trouble for them. Dad had a lovely large room overlooking the garden with an en-suite wet room. There was a sink and work surface where visitors could make hot drinks if they wished to. There was also a fridge in the room. The staff all work extremely hard and there's lots of different activities every day for the residents to join in. The meals are amazing, I have never seen so much food served all day every day. The residents are certainly never hungry and all the food is fresh and cooked on-site, with plenty of variation. Manor House is a really happy place, and it's been a pleasure visiting my Dad there. He loved it, as did I. Thank you for everything.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that both you and your dad felt at home here at Manor House.
My mom has settled in well at Manor House and seems content. The staff are very caring and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. There are plenty of activities for the residents to join in if they wish. I would recommend this care home to anyone.
Thank you for these lovely words about our home. We are so pleased your mum has settled in well and seems content in our care. Warm wishes.
Extremely bright, clean and caring place. Staff put up with a lot from my wife, whose dementia could at times be challenging. They were all very supportive of her and me. Many thanks for their work.
Thank you for this wonderful message. We are delighted to hear that you are happy with your wife's care and the facilities of our home. Best Wishes.
My wife was assigned a very nice room with en suite wet room. All the staff were very pleasant, attentive and professional. No matter what they were assigned to, they all took an interest in each of the residents. The food was very good with varied choices each day. There was plenty of things going on to stimulate residents if they wanted to be involved. I would highly recommend Manor House to anyone.
Thank you so much for your glowing review! We are delighted to hear that your wife is happy.
My mother has been in Manor House now for nearly 2 years and it's the best thing that happened to her. The staff are brilliant, so caring and all my mom does is smile, so I know she is happy here and looked after.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're happy your mother feels so happy and cared for at Manor House!
My father passed away in November 2023 and right to the end he was so truly loved with care and kindness. Manor House is an outstanding nursing home and I’m so pleased that my Dad was surrounded with love in a wonderful safe caring environment.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It was our absolute pleasure to be stewards of your father's care and to be able to bring him joy during his time as part of the Manor House family.
My mother spent the last seven months of her life at Manor House when she could no longer live an independent life in her residential village. The time she spent at Manor House, though short, allowed her to relax and shed the anxiety she had been experiencing in previous months. She regained calm and peace because of the expert and kind attention she received from all the staff and the friendliness of the residents who took her into their community with love and affection. The environment at Manor House is welcoming and warm due in no small part to the quiet efficiency and competence of the manager and administrator. Residents are cared for with great tenderness, respect, and gentle encouragement to share in the many activities Manor House puts on throughout the week to foster companionship among them. It is a happy place.
They had many activities for residence to take part in and made you feel part of there wider family. I always was made welcome on entering this beautiful home.
Thank you for your feedback and for entrusting us with your uncle's care. It's heartwarming to know that you felt welcomed and part of our extended family during your visits. At Gold Care Homes, we strive to provide exceptional service to all our residents. Kind regards.
We always feel welcome and comfortable on our regular visits.
Nothing is too much trouble for any of the team members and all of them are very accommodating.
We are always kept up to date with any developments at the home and actively encouraged to be involved in the care plan for my mother-in-law.
Any concerns that are raised are dealt with efficiently and effectively without delay.
When we leave at the end of our visits we know our loved one is in very safe and above all caring hands.
Best wishes.
The staff are very friendly and there is always enough staff on duty who look after the residents.
The residents seemed to enjoy the activities that are organised for them.
My friend always looks happy.
Thank you Manor House team.

I visited my friend who moved to Manor House few months ago early this week. I have to say I was very impressed with Manor House, the staff and how clean the care home was. Everyone was so friendly and the care seemed to be outstanding like on the board outside. I was very happy to see my friend healthy and glowing. She is very well looked after and loved. Thank you everyone at Manor House for helping my friend to live her last journey happily.

Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff caring for my mother. The food provided is of a high standard and a choice is always available. Mom is always well-presented and uses the hairdresser facility on a weekly basis. The room is always clean and the constant interaction of the staff keeps Mom alert.
Your feedback will be shared with the team.
The staff are always willing to help and regularly check on my mom. I am kept informed of her health and appetite. There are a variety of activities each day for mom to be involved in if she wishes.

When I read about Manor House, my arms tingled, a visit confirmed that this was the right place for my mother.
The team are exceptional. Each and every one of them will do whatever is necessary to ensure the well-being of those in their care. At the same time, they encourage residents to be as independent as possible, gently supporting them when necessary. All this with smiles.
The management team are excellent, keeping families well informed and chasing support services when necessary.
All I can do is say a huge thank you to everyone. My mother couldn't be in a better place.
