Superb care 24 hours per day. Plenty of activities for residents and families to do and join in. Good food, accommodation and very caring staff. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a care home for their family member.
Thank you for leaving us such a fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear your feedback on Manor House and how well your parent is doing here. The whole team strives to ensure this is a home-from-home for all our residents, and it is great when we hear we are succeeding in that! I will pass on your kind comments to the whole team.
I couldn't have wished for a better home and would thoroughly recommend them.
At Manor House, our priority is to ensure every resident is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve, with the right level of care and attention for the individual's needs. We are delighted both you, and your aunt appreciates our team efforts and we are so very grateful for your kind words and recommendation. We shall pass on your lovely comments to the whole team at Manor House.
The standard of care at Manor House is second to none and the teamwork is excellent. The management team is always there to support you with any questions or concerns. When I was at Manor House to see my dad's friend, I watched how lovely the team were to the residents and how well they treat them with a lot of respect and care. I absolutely recommend Manor House to anyone who's looking for care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review and for your positive comments about our home and recognition of the team at Manor House. The care and services we deliver as a team to our residents and families is extremely important to us. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
It's nice here because when the nurses come in they have a natter with me. I like going to do the activities. The food is wonderful. We laugh quite a lot. Staff are respectful. I feel at home in my room, I have my own things around me. Nurses come in often to check on me. My tablets are given to me when I need them. Other residents are nice to talk to and I have made some new friends here. I am happy here.
Kindest regards!
Manor House Care Home is a welcoming home, Mom has settled really well. Staff are friendly and always cheerful. I am kept up to date with Mom's care and professionalism. There are plenty of activities for Mom and she is always encouraged to take part. Staff make family feel incredibly welcome and involve us in activities and events. Staff treat Mom with respect and they are always considerate of Mom's needs. Mom is safe.
We greatly appreciate the time you have taken to complete this wonderful review. It is lovely to read your positive comments on the care and support received by your mother and that you and your family were fully supported too. Our staff takes great care and respect when providing support for all...
The Manor House Care Home is a credit to Gold Care Homes. Ever since my mother came to the home, she has been treated with dignity and respect and I will say, love, from the staff at the manor. Mom was a lonely lady after the death of my father and she lost her way. With the home's support, she now enjoys life again. The manager and her team are a credit to the care sector. Thank you, to you all.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review and for the lovely way you have described our home. We pride ourselves in making a real difference in the lives of our residents and creating a great place to live and it is encouraging for our staff to receive such positive feedback. We will ensure that your comments are passed on to the whole team.
Throughout this time she has always been well cared for and extremely happy here. As she had no family living nearby, many of the staff became like family to her. She enjoyed their company and joined in with many of the activities provided.
Even when she was very old and frail and could barely leave her room, she continued to receive excellent care at all times, and the staff kept her distant family in the picture at all times.
Thank you to all the Manor House staff for the wonderful work you do, you are much appreciated.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, especially in light of your aunt's recent passing. The team at Manor House is delighted with your comments and feels equally just as proud to have been given the opportunity to care for your aunt during the last 18 years. We all wish you well for the future and thank you again for your kind words.
My friend has been treated very courteously by the staff and all her needs have been met. I have found that the staff have been very prompt at answering the phone and giving me-up-dates on my friend's health and activities she may have participated in.
I can't speak for other people but I am very satisfied with my care and accommodation. I can't praise the staff enough for the care they give me. I enjoy all the activities and the staff work hard to get everyone involved. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared. The managers are very understanding and approachable, and my room is warm and comfortable. Personally I can't speak highly enough of Manor House.
After 3 or 4 visits to visit a friend, I am very impressed with the overall decoration, tidiness, cleanliness and staff services, friendliness and performances. I wonder if residents are helped with food if they are unable to feed themselves, but am sure this is regularly addressed.
My dad has only been here for 5 weeks. It was a difficult step to take but I am so glad my sister and I did. The care my dad is receiving is excellent. All the staff are kind, friendly and obviously enjoy the wonderful service they are providing. I have peace of mind because I know my dad is safe. Thank you.
She feels safe, loves having the company of the staff and enjoys taking part in all the activities they provide. She is treated with dignity and respect and they have a genuine affection for Mom which is lovely to see.
Mom's flat is a real home from home, always warm and very comfortable, giving her the right level of independence, care and company.
Mom is very happy here and I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work and commitment to ensuring Mom is happy and cared for.
My mom is a resident here at Manor House. Mom arrived at Manor House June 202. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Mom is well looked after even though she does not want to leave her room. The home is clean modern and the rooms are more than adequate. Looking forward to the summer to sit with mom in the lovely garden.
The staff made visiting, very easy and pleasurable. They took care with gifts entrusted to them and were very welcoming and friendly. The visit was requested at the last minute but the staff were able to accommodate my request for the time I required.
She can be trying at times but they are great with her.
This is the second member of my family who has experienced the excellent care provided by Manor House.
Although she is bit of a loner, the team are always encouraging her to take part in the activities.
My aunt has been a resident at Manor House for over 5 years now and has just celebrated her 90th birthday. At first, she was reluctant to leave her own home but if you asked her today she would say, I wish I had come to live here sooner.
She feels safe and loved. She is provided with the right amount of independence to ensure she feels valued and listened to. She is treated with dignity and respect by all of the staff, and they hold a genuine affection for her. It is evident that the service they provide is based on good values and principles.
Manor House’s jewel in the crown without a doubt is their exceptionally committed staff and I have always found them to be genuine, authentic, caring and accommodating.
A huge thank you to all the staff at Manor House for caring and loving my aunt as much as you do.
My aunt resided there for 2 years. The manager and all her staff were second to none. All staff were pleasant and helpful. They cared for my aunt with respect, cheerfulness and dignity right up until she passed away. I was very grateful they were there at her end and as loving as always. Thank you is all I can say and carry on the good work.
Hi, thank you for taking the time out to leave such a positive review. We want to pass on our deepest condolences for the passing of your aunt. The team at Manor House is always helpful and ready to assist all those in need of help. The hardworking team provides exceptional quality of care to all...
From the moment I rang to enquire, the home administrator was so amazing, friendly and honest. When we arrived we felt really safe and comfortable. Mum has been looked after so well and I really appreciate all that the staff have done for her. I did enjoy my chat with the activities coordinator too. Thank you and wish you all a really Merry Xmas and a "Covid Free" New Year.
Wishing you good health and stay safe.
My mother has dementia and is also deaf, it was important for the family to select a care home who would cater to her special need. Manor House not only treats her with the utmost respect but they also respect her right to still make choices for herself. We feel this is so important for her as she has always been a strong and in control person. This year has been so challenging for the staff. I have been in no doubt that the residents safety and care has been the highest priority. We are so grateful to know my mother is receiving the best care and attention, especially when we were unable to visit. Yesterday I was able to visit her properly in the same room since the beginning of March. Thanks to the new system of rapid COVID testing.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review. We are extremely proud to know that you are satisfied with your mother’s stay with us. You can rest assured that our kind and hardworking team continue to do their utmost to ensure the high-quality care standards are always maintained....
Staff are always supportive and helpful. They are quick to offer helpful advice. Throughout the ongoing crisis, they have been very supportive of residents and family in making everyone stays connected and safe.
Thank you for leaving us such a strong review. It's wonderful when our teams are commended for their exceptional work.
