Clarendon House offers residential and dementia care for up to 23 Residents. Care can be respite, convalescent, palliative or long-term residential.

Clarendon House is nestled in the leafy suburb of Allesley, a 10-minute drive from the town centre, with accessible public transport options. The home has large gardens which include a seating area on the patio. Every bedroom has telephone and television points plus wi-fi access throughout the building. The home is wheelchair friendly and has a lift servicing both floors. The interior decoration is dementia friendly and designed with input from Residents.

One-to-one activities are available and encouraged, with staff making efforts to make any activities requested possible. There are also group and social activities and trips, with each individual’s cultural interests in mind too.

Residents are offered a choice of home-cooked, nutritionally balanced food with options relating to specific dietary needs always available.

As a family, it has been very difficult to see my Grandad unable to look after himself in his own home anymore. However, all of the staff at Clarendon House have shown nothing but care and compassion and made the transition into care so much easier for my Grandad and the family.

My nan always seems very happy and content, I've seen how the staff involve my nan and the other residents with lots of activities, and they are always having a good laugh, which makes me smile, and she always says her food is great.

My uncle has recently moved into Clarendon House, and the care support and communication have been excellent. All the staff are warm, friendly and approachable. The manager is great and kept me updated throughout the transition from my uncle's move from the hospital to the home. Although he has only
been in the home for a short time he has settled well. The staff have been so accommodating and a great comfort to him. My uncle was so apprehensive about the move to a care home but after visiting him I can see he will be treated well here, it's such a homely comforting environment.

My Mother moved in around 1 month ago, at first we were very worried about how she would settle in but she is so happy, she loves all the staff and she says the food is fabulous. I get regular updates from a staff member which is great. I cannot recommend the manager and all the staff enough for the
level of care and respect shown to my Mum.

Everyone was very welcoming, including some of the residents. It was lovely to see my MIL interact with new people. She has been very isolated and I was a bit concerned how she would integrate. However I need not have worried she has embraced the Clarendon House.

My mother-in-law is a recent addition to the Clarendon’s guests. I have noticed a huge change in her mental well-being and physical health. She is very happy with both her personal space and the communal areas. She is mixing, making friends, and eating very well.
We visit at very short notice, some
may say “spot check”, and she and the staff are always ready for us. I believe we have met most of the staff now and I truly think that they all enjoy their job and cannot do enough to care for the residents. We chose this home after putting our faith in our initial 2 senior staff members who presented the residence to us. They, or any of the staff have not let us down in any way. They have relieved so much pressure from our lives too. AAA+++
