My mum has lived at Trinity for many years, and she always looks happy. All the staff are so welcoming and always happy. Love all the activities Mum does, and that always include her in everything.

My brother and myself have been very impressed by the way our Mum has been cared for over the last months. We feel she is treated as if she was family; nothing has seemed to much trouble for the staff.
We are extremely grateful for their care and compassion and wouldn’t want Mum anywhere else.

Mum was a resident for a number of years but recently passed away.
It wasn’t an easy decision to move mum from her home into a care home but the time had come when the home wasn’t the safest place for her. This is a heartbreaking moment for most families but the staff at Trinity Lodge made her feel
at home. They are professional, caring and loving. It wasn’t uncommon for the staff to sit beside mum and hold her hand or give her a cuddle, making her feel safe, warm and well cared for. “I love you” was often heard by the staff and filled me with comfort. Mum being sad or teary was very hard to see when I had to say goodbye to her after a visit but the staff were amazing and made me feel at ease, they were an absolute godsend and gave the family so much peace of mind knowing she would be looked after. Thank you so much Trinity for caring for mum so well. She had comfort, dignity and safety and warmth. I really can’t thank Trinity enough or think of anywhere else better for mum. Thank you.

My Mum moved into Trinity Lodge at a very difficult time for everybody. The care and support she has had since moving in have been outstanding. This has not only helped her to settle in, it has put me and my sister at ease. On top of the outstanding care, the activities have been first-rate.

I don’t often get to speak with my mum as we live in Australia and the time difference makes it difficult to keep in regular contact. I love that your staff post the videos and pictures of the residents, it allows me to feel closer to her and love to see my mum looking happier and healthier than she
has in years. Well done and thank you to all the staff, you do an amazing job and we appreciate your care so much.

Mum has been staying at Trinity Lodge for almost 2 years now. The staff treat her as a member of their family and give her great care. I can relax knowing that all her needs are being catered for. Trinity Lodge is always kept clean and “fresh” throughout. Mum seems to enjoy the food and is always given
a choice of what she wants. The activities are good and well organised and mum is encouraged to participate. Trinity Lodge have made a real effort to improve the look of the home, since my mum has been there they have built a cinema, fabulous bar, decorated one of the dining areas as an American diner, they have even recently made a seating area with a screen which displays a scene from a train so you feel that you are sat having a cup of tea on a train. All in all, I am so happy to have found a home for mum at Trinity Lodge and have recommended to friends in the past.

Dad has been here since October. Residents are treated as family and all efforts are made to make the care home as homely as possible. Staff keep families in the loop, even more so now under COVID lockdown. Loads of space and activities and I love the way the rooms and garden areas are themed. Like
a little village! Well done Trinity Lodge.

I have always found the home to be friendly and helpful. The staff go out of their way to ensure that their customers are happy and content. There are plenty of activities for them to join in with if they wish, and I know they encourage my family member to do so. In the present time of COVID-19 they
have ensured that everyone is safe and found many ways to ensure that they are entertained and keep in touch with their families. This may be via FaceBook or video calls.

My Uncle is a resident at this home and I can’t say enough about the great staff who look after him and care for him. He is 94yrs old and has been there for two years. I have peace of mind about him being there, they are a great team and he gets the best of care. I can’t thank them enough and I am truly
grateful for everything they do.

The staff at Trinity Lodge are amazing. They look after my Dad who has dementia and they treat him with humility and respect and caring. They are like family when I am not there myself. The home itself is spotless, clean and welcoming. The food is to a high standard. I would definitely recommend Trinity
Lodge.

My husband had a week respite. I was impressed with the welcome and care both he and I received. His personal care and care of possessions were excellent. This is the third care home he has had respite in and it was by far the best. Staff went out of their way to help us. This included arranging a warfarin
blood test for him.

Trinity Lodge provides an upbeat, interactive and friendly setting for my mother. There are activities for her to join in with, this was especially apparent during December; which related to this celebration. This helps residents and families hold on to important times. I can visit any time of the day
and made to feel very welcome. Many thanks to all the staff at Trinity Lodge!

I have been particularly pleased to see the level of care my Dad receives at Trinity Lodge. The staff as mentioned in previous reviews are extremely caring and patient, delivering a great service to the residents. I am particularly impressed with the assignment of a key carer to each resident - a mention
regarding my dad's key worker. A great young man who has made a bond with my dad - he has embraced the culture of care and is a credit to the home.
There are daily activities to stimulate the residents and the food quality and choice is excellent.
The home is immaculately clean and very secure staffing levels are also spot on - highly recommended.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.493)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.493) out of 10 for Trinity Lodge is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.5 out of 5 from 26 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.493 for Trinity Lodge is calculated as follows: ( (205 Excellents x 5) + (71 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (11 Poors x 2) + (8 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 304 Ratings = 4.493
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Trinity Lodge is based on 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 registered maximum number of service users is 8, which has been reached with 24 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
