Nestled in the popular outskirts of Cradley Heath in the West Midlands, Roxburgh House Care Home offers personalised residential and residential dementia care to older people.

Community is a fundamental part of life at Roxburgh House. The team understand how important it is to maintain relationships with the wider community and so they regularly organise opportunities for residents to get involved, including events with local schools, charities and businesses in the area.

Inside the home, residents of Roxburgh House benefit from a space that has been carefully designed to offer comfort and a home from home feel. The sitting rooms are a great place to relax as well as spend time with other residents, and the dining rooms offer the perfect spot to enjoy meals prepared by the talented catering team.

Outside, a lovely dementia-friendly decked area with seating and raised flower beds (which is looked after by some of the residents) provides a great spot for entertaining friends and family while the sunny conservatory allows residents to enjoy some sun and views of the garden all year around. Tastefully decorated, this friendly home also offers a range of onsite facilities including a hair salon and quiet room.

The professional care team is led by the experienced and friendly home manager, with the shared goal of providing the kindest care possible to all residents. My mother-in-law was very well looked after right up to her death on the 6th April, she was very happy at the care home. Both myself and my wife were very happy with the level of care whilst she was at the home and we can't thank all of the staff enough for the care they provided right up until the
end. Their support when she passed away special thanks to the manager.

My mother spent 18 months in this home until her death in April this year. In that time I can honestly say she received a new lease of life thanks to the wonderful staff and the new friends she made. All I can say is I cannot recommend the Roxburgh House Care Home highly enough. Utmost gratitude to

My mom was admitted to Roxburgh (her choice) October 2016, she settled in lovely and was made very welcome and felt at home, she adored the staff (especially the night team) and interacted with them all. The food was as good as any hotel and the cakes were out of this world, nothing was too much trouble
for the manager and the send-off she organised when my mom passed away was exactly what man would have wanted.

The staff at Roxburgh treat all the residents with the highest level of care, dignity and understanding. They make the residents feel like they are all part of a big family. The food and drinks always look delicious and there is plenty for all. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly

Since nan has moved into the home she has been well looked after and is looking much healthier than I have seen her for quite some time. The staff are always on hand to help if needed and to answer any questions I have had regarding nan's care.

This care home deserves to win an award for the standard of care given to residents. Safeguarding is brilliant - all the rooms are set out to ensure their safety. The staff are highly trained and nothing is too much trouble for them. Management appears excellent as the office door is always open to
discuss moms needs. The manager has shown nothing but empathy towards the family. Food is excellent - mom always enjoys her meals. As an ex social worker this is by far the best care home I have seen in my years of practice. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone they also have excellent dementia services for residents. Entertainment is also excellent with regular trips for all residents.


On a final note, I would like to thank management and staff for their high quality of ongoing care you are giving my mom.

The week of respite I spent in Roxburgh was the best time I've had in years.
The carers who looked after me were absolutely great, each and everyone should, in my opinion, should be given a gold medal.
Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot speak more than this, the food was excellent.

I've come to see my nan today and there was a street party for their residents. My nan was sat outside with everyone else. Everyone was really enjoying themselves. Plenty of food and drink, the sun was out and the staff made sure they have their sunscreen on and the staff couldn't do enough for everyone.

Friendly staff always happy to help. Food seems satisfactory, mom doesn't complain. Only concern is clothing seems to go missing, mainly underwear, mom likes to have an underskirt which isn't always the case. Would like to see this rectified.

I have found the staff to be very caring and helpful while I have been visiting my dad. The office staff (manageress) was kind, caring and listened to all my concerns. I don't know what I would have done without her.

Mom was at Roxburgh for 16 months at the end of her life. She had advanced Alzheimers and was sometimes very difficult and could also be aggressive. I would recommend Roxburgh to anyone. As a family, we felt that our mom received very good care. She was treated with dignity and respect and so was

The staff at Roxburgh House Care Home are so kind and caring. They are pushed to the limit but this is not reflected in their care and kindness towards all the residents, some of which are extremely hard to deal with. They have shown nothing but kindness, compassion and respect to both my nan and my
