Regent Residential Care Home

In all, a first-rate care home.

After a somewhat difficult start, Mum seems to have settled at Regent Residential Care Home. My experience of the staff has been nothing but positive and Mum enjoys the various activities that are provided. I'm happy to know she's in a place where she's safe and well looked after. My only small negative observation is the smell of the first-floor unit and the call alarms that seem to be constantly activated.

Staff are amazingly caring and nothing is too much trouble.

My father has Alzheimer's disease and things came to a head last August when we just could not cope at home anymore. We had used Regent House for respite and had been pleased with the care. When I phoned, desperate for help, the staff recognised it straight away and the help and support we received was second to none. They admitted him the same day and advised on the care and assessment that would take place. They looked after my father so well and gave us, as a family, so much support. I had no hesitation in asking them to give him permanent care. They are all kind and caring and watch Dad for anything that appears to be wrong with him, not hesitating to call medics when required. They keep me informed too. Dad has had to be put on a special diet which the carers recognised and organised, they are so knowledgeable. He is cared for, has company and is entertained. He has even been out on a trip to a motor museum, which he loved. I cannot thank them enough - how lucky we were to choose them.

My friend has received excellent care during the last 18 months. Her physical needs are all catered for and her health and mental wellbeing are carefully monitored. She is encouraged to join in all the activities which are on offer and she has enjoyed her day trips out.The carers are all very friendly and helpful. Her room is pleasant and kept spotlessly clean.

I feel confident she is well looked after.

We continue to be very impressed by the care and dedication all the Regent Staff give to my mother in every circumstance. We are constantly reassured that she is well cared for and safe. We are kept well informed and whenever we visit feel like part of the 'family' of Regent. Thank you so much.

Since coming into Regent our dad has come on in a very good way. He has great interaction, fun activities and friendly welcoming staff.

Both my parents were residents in Regent Residential Care Home Worcester. They received the highest level of care. They were surrounded by caring staff that went above and beyond. The staff not only cared for their residents but also showed care for the relatives as well. It is obvious that all staff know all the residents well. My family have complete confidence that our parents and are well looked after and well cared for. Thank you.

As always when I visit all the staff are kind, friendly and take great care of all the residents and I see them interact with them. Mum is always safe, warm and well cared for. All the staff know her likes and dislikes and how she has been on that day. The staff are excellent and mum is relaxed in their care despite her advancing dementia they keep her settled and feeling safe. Thank you!

We found all of the staff very kind and caring, not just for my father but for my family too in the support we had towards the end of his life. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for care in the local area.

The whole team, as usual, were totally professional and making sure the client's needs were placed first.

My sister-in-law has been a resident for five years. She is in an increasing state of dementia. The care at Regent has always been and continues to be outstanding. Every member of staff of every level or status is incredibly kind, patient and caring. I cannot speak highly enough of them. In five years I have never doubted the amazingly high standards of caring, cleanliness and compassion that this home affords.

All staff that I have liaised with have been extremely helpful, professional, polite and courteous. Whether on the phone or face to face. Unable to rate food and drink, activities and rooms as not see. He was very appreciative.

The best feedback that I could give this excellent Regent Residential Care Home is that I would be happy to stay there in my later years. I am very confident that my mum is being well looked after. All staff show high standards of care, professionalism and friendliness. The Regent Care Home's response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been exceptional with early lockdown and sensible recent face-to-face visits under strict guidelines now being allowed. Mum and her family really appreciate these weekly visits as they always bring a huge smile to her face. Thank you to all at Regent for taking really good care of my mum - your efforts and professionalism are very much appreciated.

During this awful Coronavirus, our many main services, e.g NHS, front line workers etc have been recognised and highly praised, rightfully so. But I feel as I am sure many relatives of the residents would agree, Regent, St John's needs to know we are extremely grateful for all the staff efforts in ensuring our relatives are receiving the care they require, working very long hours, doing extra shifts, remaining in the home to ensure residents have as little as possible chance of contracting this coronavirus. My sister and I have missed mum immensely. Luckily we can phone anytime and on many occasions, they get mum to the phone to speak which is a great reassurance. We realise the pay these carers get and absolutely no way reflects the work they do and the sacrifices they make. My sister and I would just like to say a heartfelt thank you for keeping our mum safe, to comfort her when she needs it, to talk to her if she is down. The day we can visit cannot come soon enough. Thank you from us both.

Regent House the staff are always caring and friendly. They always speak and will always help. My mother is very happy here. We could not wish for a better home for her to be in.
