Overall Experience
Mum was unable to continue living at home due to mobility problems. Park View was our place of choice (after looking at lots of others). Immediately she was happy and delighted with her new home. Despite suffering falls and breathing difficulties she entered into activities she was interested in and enjoyed. Hairdressing was a weekly treat and she always looked lovely.

Sadly mum passed away after a hospital stay due to her ongoing infections/conditions. Survey completed based on family findings after mum passed away.

I'm Alicia. I'm the Deputy Manager at Park View

I’m Alicia, the Deputy Manager at Park View, where I’ve had the privilege of working for the past year. For me, it’s all about the residents—I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet and work with so many wonderful people and to offer support wherever I can. I hold Care Certificates at Levels 2 and 3 and take pride in my role in helping make a positive difference in the lives of others.

One of my proudest achievements is being part of the world record-breaking event for the world’s oldest choir, a Guinness World Record! While I love to sing (even if I’m not the best at it), I know it brings joy to others. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, walking the dogs, and painting.

I'm Debbie. I am a Care Assistant

I’ve been a dedicated Care Assistant for 3 years, and I truly take pride in making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the interaction I have with them, whether it's simply chatting or taking part in activities. I especially enjoy it when entertainers visit the home, and I love seeing our residents smile and engage. Visits from school children are another highlight, bringing joy and a sense of connection to our community.

Although I am retired, I find great fulfilment in my role at Park View, which has become a cherished hobby. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by walking, swimming, and taking campervan holidays, embracing the freedom and adventure that comes with it.

I'm Bridie. I am a Lifestyle Coordinator.

I’m Bridie, a passionate and energetic Lifestyle Coordinator with 8 years of experience. I absolutely love my role, especially the joy I find in caring for residents and making sure they smile every day. Over the years, I’ve gained a Care Certificate Level 2 and was honoured to be named Staff Member of the Month.

One of the highlights of my career was being involved in the world record-breaking event of the world’s oldest choir. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with walking and running, and I always make time for my family, cherishing those moments together.
