The place is badly run down and for the money, the residents are charged each month, it is in a very poor state.
I personally am very disgusted in the place, but my friend who is in there isn't bothered by it.
The staff are nice, there are one or two who could do with more training on how to talk
to the residents, and how to deal with residents when visitors arrive.
It isn't the staff's fault how badly run down the place is.
The residents could do with more to stimulate their minds, half the time, there is only the telly, not much music.
I did notice that one day, I myself, put on a CD an old wartime CD, and a lot of the residents were singing to it.
They need more to stimulate them.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Will always answer questions. The uneven surface near the front door needs levelling so I can get my mother to the care safely.

I find Ashlee Residential Home a very nice, clean and organised environment. The staff are always very attentive and take very considerate care of my grandmother. The home has a genuine warmth to it compared to other larger homes I have visited.

My mum has been at Ashlee since Feb 2019. She has settled in very well and seems happy in herself. The staff are very helpful from the manager to the carers. My mum is well fed and looked after. The staff always let us know of any concerns and how they deal with it.

The care and attention given to the residents at Ashlee is great. The team are professional, kind, considerate and always on hand to assist the residents whatever the need. I visit the premises at least every other day and having spoken to several residents whilst there, during the conversations I have
with them, all I hear is good positive things said about the staff and the way they (the residents) are looked after.
The building itself is in need of an update/makeover to bring it up to today's standards, though, safety wise it's fine, it just needs updating. I have asked the management about this and they tell me that it is happening and once the plans are agreed work will commence.
The residents and staff are a cheerful bunch and everyone is well looked after and happy.
The resident I visit has no complaints at all and is being looked after very well in regards to his health and wellbeing.

I have found the staff very welcoming and caring towards residents and visitors alike. It's a small home so everyone seems to get along well. The staff are very understanding to the resident's needs and provide good care. They also contact me if there's anything of concern, forward planning or day to
day needs of my father.

My mother-in-law has been here for over 7 years and at 98, still does really well with the help of the staff here. She always has good things to say about the home when we visit her and is looking really well and healthy at the moment. Thanks.

At first, I was apprehensive about my aunt going into a care home, but after visiting her, I find all my fears were groundless. Ashlee is a clean, warm and lovely place and the staff are friendly and professional. I was made to feel at home during my visit and I can't praise the staff and management
highly enough for the quality of life my aunt has at Ashlee.
