Belper Views welcomed my dad at short notice last July like they had known him for years, they went the extra mile giving him little treats he likes at random times to help him feel more at home,
The staff and management always have time to listen even when not actually at work.
My dad is safe, warm,
clean and looked after, the food is freshly prepared and cooked onsite which I've sampled for myself and is delicious, they cater for any dietary requirements and also treat my own son who has additional needs with kindness and treats when we visit.
I would gladly live there myself, always clean and fresh and the residents are happy and cared for which shows from the minute you walk through the door.
Lovely friendly environment day and night, manager also put all my dads pictures on the wall for us, asked his choice of colour when decorating, it's a 5 star home with residents needs at the heart of it.
I can't thank them enough for the care my dad receives.

We are incredibly happy with the care my mum is receiving at Belper Views. From the moment she arrived, the level of attention has been outstanding. I will never forget how a lovely carer named Karon took the time to sit and talk with my mum when she first moved in; Mum was very agitated at the time,
and Karon's patience and kindness really helped calm her down. That level of attention to her emotional wellbeing meant the world to us.
The facilities are excellent. Mum has a lovely room with a modern en-suite wet room, and we were encouraged to bring in her personal items and pictures for the walls to make it feel like home. The home is always spotlessly clean and smells fresh.
The staff are very good at ensuring she has everything she needs, and most importantly, my mum has actually gained weight since arriving, which is amazing to see. We are very happy and highly recommend Belper Views to any family looking for high-quality care.

My Mom lived at Belper Views for nearly 2 years - the care was outstanding and in her final 3 weeks of life she was so loved and helped by the carers it was amazing. I thank the carers so much for making Mom's final days so comfortable and being so supportive to me at that very sad time. Would highly
recommend this care home.

My Mum moved in at very short notice, the manager helped sort out her room to make it personal and welcoming, she was also very attentive to listening to her needs and care she required.
The whole staff team wellcomed her and helped to settle her in to life at Belper views, Mum was soon enjoying her
new home and reflected on how much better she felt. Over the last 7 months she as recived great care and attention and we has a family know she is happy, safe and well cared for. She enjoys the foods she likes, activities and trips in the local community.
The home feels warm and welcoming when we visit, and is run with the residents at the forefront of decisions made, to ensure that the home is thier home, thier family.

Thank you to all the staff at Belper View for being so accommodating and welcoming . The transition for my neighbour won't be easy 2025 hasn't been the best of years but your care and attention in these early days and help facilitating his beloved cat joining him so quickly will hopefully comfort him
seeing he too is safe and give him something to focus on and eventually help his interaction with other service users.
Thank you again for being so understanding and helpful lovely to see emphasis being on the individual and their immediate needs and expediting risk assessments necessary .

Mum has just arrived at Belper Views after being in hospital after a fall.

Belper Views Residential Care Home was my first experience of a nursing home and I can honestly say, the staff are extremely caring and always go above and beyond for the residents. After a recent spell in hospital with my mum, even the staff at the hospital commented on how thorough and professional
her notes were, which gives me peace of mind that my mum is being well cared for.

Lovely care home. They look after my grandma with such respect and love. She is happy here. All the staff are wonderful and caring. One member of staff, in particular, makes me smile. He always talks to the residents with a bit of comedy and the activities staff are amazing. I feel very comforted that
my grandma is so well cared for. She loves the food. It's like a family there. Would highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff. And Autumn, the dog, and Arnold, the cat.

Well, what a fantastic team at Belper Views Residential Care Home, they have empathy for all the residents, I have not been in many but what I have been in shows that this home goes the extra mile, not to please the families but to please the residents and that in turn, pleases everyone and that is
what's important.
I hope and wish the very best for everyone involved at Belper Views, no doubt there is more to what we see to make this home what it is and it definitely deserves recognition to being the home everyone should hope to go to if needed to.
So, just well done and thank you for your hard work and commitment.

My mum went to Belper Views Ltd Residential Care Home after being poorly for two months, it was actually to give me respite for looking after her. Whilst in there, she was medically checked and her health issues were resolved through the persistence of the wonderful staff. She is now home, living independently.
My mother-in-law is now a resident and she could not be in a better place, the staff are amazing with care and treat everyone independently. Could not recommend this home enough.

When my dad was in Belper Views it was like he had joined a new family, it is always a difficult decision to come to terms with that your relative can no longer stay at home, I can honestly say that the staff could not do enough for my dad. However, it was the extended care and compassion they showed
to all my family that we will never forget. Whenever we went into the home we were greeted with a smile, a full report of how my dad was and how he had been. He was cared for with dignity and respect.
The staff encourage the person to retain their personality and truly offer person-centered care. My dad always had clean clothes, his bed changed daily, his room was cleaned twice a day and always smelled nice. The food was lovely, the cook strived to offer 'home-cooked' food. There was entertainment regularly and I hold dear the photos they took at the Royal wedding tea party. My dad sadly died at Belper Views but I can honestly say their care was amazing and I can never thank them enough.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.680)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.680) out of 10 for Belper Views Residential Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 13 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.855 for Belper Views Residential Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (130 Excellents x 5) + (22 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 152 Ratings = 4.855
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.825 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Belper Views Residential Care Home is based on 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.825
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 25 registered maximum number of service users is 5, which has been reached with 13 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
