Mum moved to Camden in April and she was helped to settle in from the start.
The staff are all so kind and do anything and everything possible to make Mum feel settled.

Mum has said she feels safe and she loves the food!

While my great granddad was here on respite, he was very well looked after. All the staff were excellent and very caring, nothing was too much trouble. The care home was recommended to our family by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to other people.
While the home is a bit old fashion that does not take away the care given to my granddad and how welcome he was made to feel. All the staff were interested in him and what they could do to improve his time there even though it was very short.

My granddad loved his time there even though he was hesitant to go in at first but because he was treated well and looked after, it kept his mind at rest and that kept all our minds at rest because we knew he was enjoying his time there allowing us to enjoy a bit of rest.

I visit often and I am always welcomed warmly by the staff who have a friendly smile each and every time.
My friend appears to be very happy here and is always telling me how thoughtful the carers are and that they make her smile a lot.
The home is small and compact but very homely.
The food smells divine and there is always a lot of choice.
I would recommend Camden to anybody looking to put a relative in a home.

Thank you.

My family member had respite care at Camden care home and we couldn't be happier with her time there. Home away from home. Warm and friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us.
Lovely warming welcome is pristine.
Management had a lot of involvement in my relatives care and kept us updated throughout her stay.
Her room was very homely and comfortable, and everything was easily accessible.

We will be back, without a doubt.

My mother has been a resident for about three years. She is very settled and happy there. She really enjoys her breakfast, being her favourite meal of the day. The chef does her best to accommodate to all the various tastes of the residents.
There are enough organised activities to keep the residents involved. The staff are attentive and appear to have a good rapport with the residents.
The building itself is fairly old and a little threadbare but very clean.

All in all an excellent home with great care. Very good value.

Staff are very helpful and caring even though my mum was very demanding. She was happy here and enjoyed having a laugh with all the staff.

My mum has recently passed away and the staff were very prompt and persistent in getting my mum medical help, even when the medical services were reluctant to come out to see my mum again as this had been an ongoing problem. As the staff knew my mum very well they knew she wasn't her normal self so persisted until the medical team came out and took my mum into hospital where she sadly passed away 4 days later. Though I would say the home is in some need of updating the staff are of a very high standard.

I cannot fault Camden care home Long Eaton. My dad has dementia and has been in the home for just over 8 weeks. The carers are kind considerate and very friendly. My dad is getting the best care you could wish for. Which is very satisfying at this very emotional and hard time. The manager who runs Camden House is very helpful in looking after Dad's needs. She's kind considerate and is there for us when we have concerns.

My Aunty is receiving excellent care and love and support at Camden Residential Home. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble for them, they always make me feel very welcome on visits to the home and keep me informed of how Aunty is or of any up and coming events. It really is home from home. I would recommend the home and the staff very highly. I can't thank them enough for all that they do for my Aunty.

My mother came to Camden in November 2015. From day one she was treated with dignity and respect. The staff treat the residents as members of their own family. Activities are organised and mum enjoyed them. I would highly recommend this care home.
