Mum was having some problems taking her tablets - the care staff contacted me and explained the situation and also asked the nurse to call in . Mum had a full health review and has been referred to a specialist team to offer help and support with her sleeping patterns. She is now taking her tablets and we are reassured once again that the team are fully aware of mums needs and take immediate action if her situation changes.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased that you felt supported and kept informed throughout. It's great to hear that Mum is doing well, and we're glad we could help put your mind at ease. Thank you for your kind words about the team.

The home runs very efficiently in the background. My mother is certainly thriving there and reports she is happy. Most important to me to know that. There are plenty of activities mum gets involved in or not as she wishes.
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear your mother is happy and thriving, and we really appreciate your kind comments.
are all ensuite and residents are encouraged to make them their own. The whole building is very bright and airy with a communal.dining room, two lounges and even a hair salon. I'm always made to feel welcome when I go to visit.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you're happy with the care your mum receives at Aigburth. It's wonderful to know that you feel welcomed when visiting and that both the activities and environment are appreciated. Your comments mean a lot to our team.
When we took mum to the Aigburth for the first time she became confused as to what was happening , this for us was a very scary moment.
However, just as mum was getting agitated one of the carers came in and immediately took over and started singing to mum and mum joined in then the two of them went off hand in hand to have a look around.
Me and my aunt (mum's sister) immediately burst into tears and hugged each other knowing that we had made rhe right decision to take mum to the Aigburth.
I live in cheshire and to know that mum is being cared for in the way that she cared for us as children means the absolute world to us all. Thank you
My aunt is content and well looked after. There are so many activities that my aunt can't find the time to participate in them all! I don't live locally and so it is reassuring to know that the staff will call to let me know of any changes to my Aunt's medical condition. The home is very clean and all of the staff are lovely.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're really pleased to hear that your aunt is happy and well cared for, and that she's enjoying the wide range of activities on offer. It's also great to know that our communication gives you reassurance, especially as you don't live locally.
All the staff are very caring. My mother's mental physical and emotional needs have been cared for very well. Also I have been contacted regularly about her on going needs and any problems. a very friendly home.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We're really pleased to hear that your mother's physical, mental and emotional needs are being so well cared for, and that you feel kept informed about her ongoing care. It's lovely to know that Aigburth feels like a friendly and supportive home for both of you.
All staff regularly consider and respond to her changing and complex individual physical and mental health needs . Recently she has struggled with chewing and swallowing so her food has to be minced or soft.Great consideration has been given to ensure her meals remain tasty and satisfying eg .adding toppings of melted cheese or alternative desserts such as individual portions of Tiramasu !
Many thanks to all the kitchen staff for their care and creativity !
Also Mum's faith is respected with Catholic priests visiting Mum for communion and prayer aswell as the attention of the kind regular chaplain.
These are just a few of the many ways in which quality of care at Aigburth remains ( after over 10 years of my Mums residency), exceptional .

I visit Mum a number of times a week. I am always greeted by all staff irrespective of their role in a warm and friendly manner. Staff extend a similar warm welcome to Mum's elderly sister to ensure her visits are a positive experience. I think Mum is living in a supportive and caring environment and after each visit I leave in the knowledge she is safe, well looked after and comfortable. Over the past two years my Dad has received the most wonderful care from the staff and volunteers at Aigburth. The care and support he is given is second to none and he loves the company. It has been a joy to see all the enrichment activities that are provided for Dad and the other residents including music therapy, outings to a member of staffs allotment, visits from John the animal man and concerts. Very quickly Aigburth has become a home from home, not just for Dad but our family and friends when we visit.

Mum is so happy and content at The Aigburth. Her room is perfect, her care is second to none. Love seeing the photos of her enjoying the activities. She loves the garden and we walk around it every time visit. I feel she is totally safe and looked after. I don't worry at all about her. It is always clean, tidy and very welcoming. Great experience settling my dad in as a new resident, the staff liaised with the hospital he was being treated in and made sure the transfer went smoothly and that we as a family were kept informed at all times. The staff were very welcoming when my sister & I visited to look at the home (we could tell straight away how lovely everyone is). Then when we visited when my dad had moved in, it was clear how much effort the staff were putting in to make him and us feel welcome.
My auntie moved to Aigburth in February. She was with drawn and wouldn't leave her bed. But with support from a grate care team they have brought her back eating drinking and being part of the Aigburth family. It's all down to the care and support she has been given over the past 7 months. I am very grateful for the work they have done with my auntie. Thank you.
