My Aunt became a permanent resident at the end of October 2021. My whole family have been very pleased with how well she has settled in. We were concerned as we had hoped that she would be able to stay in her bungalow for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible and, after making the
difficult decision to find residential care for her, the Manager here was very helpful and supportive. The care staff are mainly kind and caring even though they are very busy and there are some who will go out of their way to be helpful. The covid restrictions have been difficult, as, when she was at her home we visited at least once, every day but we know that she is safe and well-cared-for.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your thoughtful words and we are very glad that your aunt has settled in well and that we have been able to allay your fears and concerns for her.

We as a family are very pleased that we chose Aigburth care home for our Dad. The staff and management work very hard to ensure he has the best of care in a happy environment. They are very informative about Dad's health care needs and always make me feel welcome when visiting.

My father transferred to Aigburth earlier this year. I can't praise the whole process highly enough. My gorgeous Dad settled quickly and soon became a member of the Aigburth/Rosedale family. He has a lovely room with a huge window looking onto the fabulous gardens, garden visits really are just like
taking a walk in a private park. The staff are absolutely amazing and myself and the family can't thank the team enough for the wonderful care that my beloved father receives. Great entertainment is provided and plenty of activities are available and I love that we are kept up to date with photographs on the FaceBook page. It has been a hugely difficult year for everyone, especially those of us with family in a care home, but MHA and Aigburth have had and continue to have the safety and well-being of our loved ones at the heart of everything that they do and decisions that they make. My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the professional, dedicated and compassionate care that my father receives.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your lovely words. My mother went to Aigburth for three weeks of respite care. I was very impressed with the happy atmosphere in the home. Also, everywhere was so light and spacious. The staff were so upbeat and friendly. I would be happy for Mum to have another little holiday there.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your lovely words. It has been delightful having Mum with us and we were sad to see her leave. We would be thrilled to have her back with us even if it is for a short break. From all of us at Aigburth, stay safe and well and always know, we are just a phone call away. Thank you once again.

My aunt and uncle were both moved into Aigburth for respite care, initially, the family were very anxious about the decision but following a meeting with the Management team our anxieties were put at bay. There were a number of times in the meeting where the phrases 'we want this to feel like their
home', 'we are one big family', were mentioned and the manager and her team have lived up to this. In these challenging and uncertain times the staff are caring and professional they make a difference. Our thanks go to all the staff for what they have done to help in settling my aunt and uncle into Aigburth also for the support of my aunt during this difficult time, it is greatly appreciated by us all.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthIt has been an absolute pleasure having your aunt and uncle with us. Although these are difficult times for all of us and more so for aunty, she has made it easy for us as she is such a lovely and very brave lady who is always smiling and friendly. We hope we are able to spend many more happy years with her. The staff are thrilled that she has settled in well.

My grandmother was cared for at Aigburth for two years and I cannot fault the care she received. The staff are extremely caring, and it felt as though they treated my grandmother as a member of their own family. I was kept regularly updated by her key worker, particularly since the outbreak of covid,
when visiting had to be more restricted. The home is well managed and it was always easy to contact the manager or staff by phone. I would particularly rate the care for residents with dementia; staff would always display a patient caring manner when presented with challenging behaviour. Staff would appropriately involve the GP with any issues relating to health and update me regarding this. The residents' rooms are pleasant and comfortable. I am very thankful that I chose Aigburth to be my grandmother's home, and would not hesitate in strongly recommending this care home.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time out to write us a review. Your grandmother was very special to us in more ways than one. She was fun to be with, lively, enjoyed chatting to us, and enjoyed her music and dance with the care staff on Rosedale. She is sorely missed and we will always have her in our hearts. We are very glad too that you selected Aigburth for her as she was a mountain of a personality and it would have been our loss completely if she was not here with us. Stay safe and take care.

For two years my wife has been happy and contented at Aigburth Care Home. Her en suite room is light and comfortable and looks out on the garden.
The staff at all levels are pleasant and competent. They provide plenty of cheerful activities and obviously enjoy caring for their elderly and vulnerable
folk.
Any problems or health matters have been noticed and dealt with immediately.
We, the family, have peace of mind and feel very fortunate that my wife is safe in the good hands of a care home with such high standards.
Thank you, Aigburth.

I can only say a huge 'thank you' to the staff and volunteers at Aigburth - every one of them - who work together to produce a caring and genuinely loving environment for my 95-year-old mum who has lived in Aigburth for more than four years.

I have never heard her have anything other than praise

for the care staff, the activities and the food. For our part we have peace of mind knowing she is well cared for and content in Aigburth.

During lockdown the staff have contacted us with any concerns or requirements such as clothes or toiletries. They have always been there to reassure us, or answer any questions we may have. There appears to be a low turnover of staff which I consider to be important for the residents, a sign of a contented staff and a well organised system.

My mother looks forward to the morning newsletter showing the activities available and a menu so she can plan (and to some extent control) her choices for the day.

Aigburth Care Home is exactly that - a home that cares.

Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for such thoughtful and kind words of praise for Aigburth. It is during these strange times that families like yours and mum happy with us keeps our spirits high and smiles intact. We hope to carry on providing a caring environment for all of our residents and families and last but not least, our staff. Thank you once again and please stay safe.

Aigburth was recommended to us when looking for a home for my mother and we are extremely happy with the care provided. The staff obviously love their jobs and create a very happy and caring environment. The quality and variety of meals is exceptional and I often hear from my mother about what a lovely
dinner she's had. Her health and weight have noticeably improved since moving to Aigburth. The entertainments programme is varied and delivered daily by the very talented team, who keep everyone active in a fun way and they are loved by all. As visitors, we are always treated as much a part of the Aigburth family as the residents and feel welcome. We have peace of mind knowing how well my mother is being cared for and can't thank all the staff enough for what they do.

Our mother moved into Aigburth at the beginning of July, when her dementia progressed to a level that her previous care home was not qualified to deal with. It was a very difficult and emotional time for us all and made even more so because of the lockdown restrictions. All the staff at Aigburth were
absolutely brilliant; their understanding and support helped to make the situation so much easier for our mother and indeed for us. Mother settled in very quickly, she became more alert and established a warm and gentle rapport with staff. Her room was light and airy, with a view over the beautiful gardens. Food was excellent and activities were inclusive and fun and she was able to join in and enjoy them.
Unfortunately, our mother took a sudden turn for the worse and passed away after only a few weeks but we cannot thank the staff enough for making her feel valued and cared for, for the dignity and respect with which she was treated and for the love that she was shown.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your support and appreciation throughout. It saddened us deeply when we lost mum. She was loving and gentle, and all the staff adored her. We miss her and are happy that we could give you and the rest of the family some source of comfort in her last days. Stay safe and stay well.

The management and staff are very kind, caring and approachable at this home. The food is of a very good standard. The residents are treated with care, kindness and dignity. There is a very good activity program which all residents are encouraged to take part in. The garden is very well kept and there
is a lovely decking area which is used regularly in the summer. All the staff are doing a great job at this most difficult time. The office sends a weekly bulletin and updates us on everything regarding the virus. A big thank you to everyone for keeping my mother as safe as possible.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your words of support and appreciation. This means a lot to us and we hope we can carry on providing you with the assurance that your mother is cared for at all times. We hope to be able to see you all soon once again.

Mum has been at Aigburth for two years now and not only is she settled, happy and content but we have seen improvements in both her physical and mental well being, brought about by the wonderful all-round care she receives from all the staff and volunteers.
The staff are so lovely, genuinely kind,
caring, fun and dedicated. They know Mum well and have a good understanding of her dementia and treat her with respect and dignity.
There is a real family and homely atmosphere created by the staff and volunteers, and an amazing entertainments team and the gardens are beautiful.
As a family, we are always made to feel as though we are part of an extended family and we know Mum could not have a better home.
Even in these challenging and difficult times, all the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure not only Mum continues to be well cared for but we as a family are reassured that she is loved and in the safest of hands.
We cannot thank you enough.

The last few weeks have made me realise how much I owe the carers. In the most challenging of times, my experience has been that they have put my Mum's care first, meeting the concerns of relatives by proactive communication second and their own needs last; at a time when so many are consumed by dealing
with their own needs first.
Such selflessness sets an inspiring example but will pass unnoticed unless we acknowledge it. So a big thank you to you all.
Reply from Shraddha Chaudhuri, Administration Manager at AigburthThank you for your support and appreciation. The staff try their best, and we all love our residents as if they are our own families. Mum is happy and well cared for at Aigburth where the staff are lovely and there is a family atmosphere. I always feel welcome when I visit. Both of my parents have been at Aigburth for 18 months now. It is a super purpose-built place with excellent facilities.
