After her recent death I and my wife organised her funeral. We were both touched and impressed that the manager and a number of staff attended. Not only this but a poem about her was composed by them and formed part of the tribute.
In summary we felt that the Lawns did an impressive job in caring and supporting our dear friend during the final years of her life.
Thank you so much much for your touching feedback of The Lawns and our wonderful team which we are so lucky to have! Your dear friend is missed by us all and please know our door is always open.
Mum went into the Lawns Sept 2025 and passed away there Feb 2026. She went there for company and that there was always someone to call on 24 hrs. The Lawns provided that safe environment for her, with caring staff, who did all they could for mum to be inclusive and stimulated in life at the home with activities, meeting her dietary requirements , laundry , medical needs , treating her with dignity and empathy. The care and compassion for her and ius as a family was amazing in her last week. It has been an enormous comfort to us , we couldn't have asked for better .
Thank you so much for your positive feedback, we really aim to provide a family feel within The Lawns and we are so pleased that you have been comforted by the care and compassion we give. Mum is missed by us all everyday.
My mums last years were comfortable, happy and secure thanks to The Lawns.
Thank you so much for your heartwarming words, it really means a lot to us at The Lawns. We are so lucky to have such a fabulous team of angels working here, all who miss Mum very much.
There is plenty of space to be alone with residents if required.
Having lunch with mother in law was a lovely experience and the food was very good.

From the very first time we stepped foot into The Lawns it was very evident that this was no ordinary residential home. The Lanws was our number one choice for my mother-in-law. The staff are professional and caring individuals lead from the top. A wonderful place for my mother-in-law.
I cannot thank everyone enough for their dedication to care. The Lawns is a vibrant place with a variety of daily activities which keep residents mentally and physically engaged and active. The residents are treated like they are part of a family and it does not feel like a care home. The restaurant looks and feels like a restaurant. The Lawns is a happy place and there is always laughter and happiness in the air. Knowing my Mother was being so well cared for, allowed me to get on with my life, without constantly worrying and my wife and I were always welcomed as part of the family when we visited.
I will be forever grateful to everyone at the Lawns.
My mum has lived at The Lawns for nearly 3 years. After some initial issues related to COVID restrictions, she settled in well. The home has a lovely atmosphere and feels more like a nice hotel. The management and staff are very friendly, helpful and co-operative. The activities programme is very comprehensive but with no pressure to take part. Food and drink are good quality and nicely presented in the attractive restaurant. Fees aren't particularly cheap, but you get what you pay for i.e.: a lovely well run home.
Staff are fantastic and couldn't have been more caring and supportive. Really lovely great place would really recommend it. Staff always friendly and look after my dad so well, we really couldn't be more grateful.
The Lawns provided my dad with wonderful care and support throughout his short stay before he sadly passed. All the staff from managers, senior care staff, down to the housekeeping team were fantastic. Not living locally meant I only managed to visit every few weeks. I was always kept informed on how my dad was doing and any concerns etc. On the times we did come to visit, our dogs were also welcome in the home, which my dad loved.
The home was always clean, the food was great, and I couldn't fault it. They were even happy for us to bring my dad's own TV, which we have donated to the home.
Would just like to say what a warm and welcoming home The Lawns is. Every time you visit there's a warm welcome. The staff are patient and caring to Mum and easily approachable by yourself if there's a query or concern. I was tearful recently on leaving Mum and one of the staff took the time to speak to me, ensure I was okay and gave words of advice. They are also always on hand and chatty with Mum.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback regarding The Lawns Care Home. We understand that this can be an emotional experience, and we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. Please know that we are always here to support both our residents and their families, and we are truly glad to be a part of your mum's care journey. Take care and have a lovely day!
When I assessed The Lawns for my stepfather's stay I was very impressed. Everything clean, no smells, helpful and friendly staff. This was confirmed by a family friend who knows this industry. She dropped off my stepfather and looked around. She couldn't find any issues and praised me on my choice. I would recommend The Lawns very highly. All staff were great.

I visited six homes before deciding on this one. I have not been disappointed, I feel very comfortable knowing Mum is being looked after well. There are occasional issues but they are dealt with efficiently and effectively. Overall Mum is happy and so am I. Just some improvements too.
The people are friendly, residents and staff, big and spacious, I don't feel cluttered, food is ok, on the whole the care is very good.

My mother first entered The Lawns for respite care after a nasty fall at home in November 2023. She was warmly welcomed by every member of staff and treated with care and compassion while recovering from a broken shoulder. Such was the care and ambience o the home, we encouraged her to stay permanently for a richer quality of life for her last years. The home is like family, residents, carers and visitors come together to provide a safe, warm, rich environment for all. Who could ask for more!
I've been visiting The Lawns now for over a year, when a relative of mine was a resident, and while I was visiting I got to know most of the residents in care there. I go in most weeks now to have a chat with them, it's a lovely home and the staff make me feel so welcome. I've visited a few care homes in the past but The Lawns is the best I've visited, I can't fault it, if ever I need to go into care that's where I would like to be.
My aunt is very happy in this home because of the caring staff, the comfortable environment, the delicious food, the enjoyable activity programme and the friendly company.
I enjoy living here. The staff and food is good.
Excellent food and the staff and facilities are good.
