My grandmother was in the New Wycliffe Home for 3 years and the care she had was excellent the staff were always kind and friendly. She was always looked after so well, nothing was too much trouble and we were always made very welcome. During the pandemic last year, I felt that they coped with the situation
fantastically, it must have been very difficult but we were kept informed with phone calls and video calls. When grandma passed away the care and dignity they shown was brilliant and very professional, we can't praise the New Wycliffe Home enough.

I visited mum for the first time in over 7 months today. Partially due to lockdown and surgery on my leg. Delighted to see she was well cared for. Fed and watered she is in the latter stages of dementia and can be oppositional and difficult but staff cope in a friendly and caring manner. I can't comment
on some aspects as I did not witness them (rooms/activities) but overall I am 100% happy that my mum is in caring and capable hands.

My uncle had a brief stay at New Wycliffe Home. During his few weeks at the home, he was very happy. The staff were professional, courteous and treated my uncle with great respect. There was a friendly and welcoming environment that put us relatives at ease. The home was very clean and well looked after
- lovely garden area. In summary, fantastic home and staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending the New Wycliffe Home.

After searching high and low for a suitable care home for Mum I, fortunately, stumbled across New Wycliffe and it stood out from the crowd. The decision to place her here is not one I think I'll ever regret as all staff are extremely friendly and approachable always going above and beyond to offer my
mum the best care possible. I believe that this care home is by far the best I have come across and I am so happy to have found it for my mum to spend her final years. Thank you!

I made a number of visits in November and December 2020 when COVID restrictions were in place. I was extremely impressed by the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff who took the time to update me on my mother's progress. During this period there was a noticeable improvement in
my mother's condition. The staff arranged a video tour of the facilities which looked clean, warm and inviting. My other looked happy and well cared for.

I always feel my mother is safe, secure, well looked after and cared for whenever I visit her. The staff I have dealt with are very helpful and friendly. I have no issues at all with my mother's care at New Wycliffe Home.

My dad was moved here from hospital following a very difficult time in his life when he was diagnosed with young-onset dementia. We were very reluctant for him to be moved to a care home as he is so young but it was necessary due to his care needs. I cannot recommend New Wycliffe Home enough and the
staff have consistently gone above and beyond for Dad to ensure that his very specific needs are met. The rapport that has been built between him and the staff is so amazing and they look after him like he is one of the family. There have been many very challenging issues with Dad due to the type of his dementia that he has and the New Wycliffe staff have been creative, compassionate and empathetic in their approach to dealing with these challenges. In particular, Dad's key worker and the manager of the home have been so kind and caring towards me and my sister, ensuring that we are kept up to date and are involved in the decision making around Dad's care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

New Wycliffe is a very friendly warm happy place to be in if you need the care and attention. Very well looked after and the carers spend the time talking and playing games with the residents. All the staff are extremely helpful and go far and beyond, especially through Covid. You feel your relative

Mum has been a resident for a year and is at present on end-of-life care. Throughout her stay here she has always been treated with the utmost respect. All staff are great, cannot fault them at all. Mum has become to be loved by staff and as a family we too feel the love surrounding her. She is always

Mum has been in the New Wycliffe for just over a year now. We looked at many other homes and have not regretted our choice. The home is well managed, clean, bright and does not have that care home aroma. Most importantly the staff all have a very caring attitude and always treat Mum with great care
and respect. We are coming to the end of Mum's stay now and the caring approach covers the whole family. Highly recommended.

My father became a resident at the Vista Wycliffe Home in Gleneagles Avenue just short of four years ago. He was a challenge to any care home but it was no trouble at Vista where the team provided exceptional levels of care and support throughout his stay. It gave my sister and I great comfort to know
our father was being so well cared for. The support they provided to us was also exceptional and I would wholeheartedly recommend Wycliffe Vista accordingly.

My father lived at this home for eleven months before he passed away. He could not have had better care, especially when he was receiving palliative care. The carers and staff could not do enough for my father and they respected both his and our wishes. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Mum joined the New Wycliffe Community 7 years ago after her
eyesight became too poor to look after herself at home. initially, she was unsure but grew to love the place and the people - both staff and fellow guests. It has been a blessing for us, as I live abroad and do not enjoy full mobility, so
we are happy that she is so well looked after there, and is amongst so many friendly faces. She celebrated her 100th Birthday at the home in late 2018, a party attended by many of her family and friends, many of whom she had not seen for some time. It was a memorable and enjoyable day and mum loved all the attention (and the card from the Queen!) on her special day. We're all comforted by knowing that, at New Wycliffe, she enjoys the best care
and attention from a friendly team, and that all her needs are taken care of.

My mother is resident in the home and has been for over 6 weeks. I am happy with the standard of care overall but would've rated this higher if the care home staff had met with us sooner to share initial assessment and care planning in respect of mum. I appreciated that they need to get to know her
and understand her care needs, but I would've expected some contact from the home after 4 weeks.


I am very impressed with the manager, her experience and skill shines and this is evident in her staff who clearly are working in a supportive and caring environment. Her leadership is evident in the home with high expectations of care. The staff seem happy in their work, which is then reflected in good standards of care.


My mum has put on weight and looks better than in her previous home. The staff are working with her feeding requirements and clearly, their perseverance and good quality care is working.
