Boultham Park House

Absolutely brilliant. All staff show the utmost care and dedication to their respective jobs. Nothing too much trouble and go out of their way to do anything which was asked and always with a smile, no negativity what so ever. Sometimes when you walk into a place, you get a kind of vibe and think along the lines of not being very good. But I never did have that feeling at Boultham Park House, always greeted with a smile and kind words and all staff knew what they were doing, in a nutshell, didn't miss a trick. Best possible care, knowing mum was in good hands, a great comfort to the family.

This is the third time mum has been here for respite care. Each time I have felt happy that she has been well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful and mum's room clean and well decorated.

I would like to congratulate you on the amazing standards of caring at Boultham Park. My aunt was a resident for 11 years and died recently at the grand old age of 100. The staff are dedicated, friendly and caring not only to the residents but the extended family. I live 3 hours drive away, but was always happy to leave my aunt, confident that she was content and well cared for. I only wish other homes in my area (that I visit) were up to your standards. My thanks to all concerned.

Boultham Park House provides not only their residents with a safe, secure community- spirited environment but also offers huge reassurance and support for residents families that their parent is happy and safe 24 hours a day. Having experienced care in her own home prior to going to live at Boultham Park House my mother is now happy and healthier enjoying excellent and regular meals, activities and good company. She no longer feels lonely has put lost weight back on and enjoys the friendly, caring, community spirit shared between staff and residents.

The care and attention given to my mother was beyond excellent. All the staff went beyond just care, they became members of our family. This was not just my mother but all the residents that we observed.

I cannot praise the staff for their helpfulness, cleanliness, and the loving care they give to their inmates, enough. My cousin entered the home just before Christmas, was rather reluctant, but settled in well, she loves it. My cousin has just had her 100th birthday and what a party they gave her, it could not have been better. My brother is in a home and it is not a patch on Boultham House, I am well impressed.

The home has a happy, friendly atmosphere. Family members are made to feel welcome and part of their team. Residents are well cared for and look happy to be there. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management alike and managers door is always open. Meals are cooked on site and residents have plenty of choice. The home is very clean and tidy, one of the best homes! Keep up the good work.

Mum was very happy here and got on well with staff and residents alike. She joined in most activities and days out when possible. She was watched over 24 hours a day- which gave me the reassurance I needed knowing that help was always at hand if needed. The carers were wonderful, such a difficult job yet each and everyone was always smiling.

The care home was a bright and warm welcoming place. Staff very friendly and caring. After mum settled in she was happy here and felt safe. She went on outings and did a lot of activities in the home. The staff were very approachable and if we asked questions about mum's care they would always inform us of every aspect of this.

Mum was only a resident for five months but the care given to her was excellent, she was treated with kindness and consideration at all times. When she passed away she was treated with great dignity as were we as relatives. The home has a very friendly atmosphere inside and outside (the gardens are beautiful and residents are included in the gardening!).

I have visited a friend in the above home on a regular basis during her three year residence there. The staff, of all levels were always clean, tidy, friendly, willing to help and treated me with respect. I have never had any reason to be anything but thoroughly grateful for what they did for my friend, who became increasingly frail and displaying severe dementia.

Boultham Park House is a very welcoming care home. The building is light and airy and well kept. The staff are friendly and my mother settled in there from the first day. The home is small enough to care but big enough to give the feeling of space and the various communal rooms add variety for the residents. The gardens and access to the nearby park are an added bonus to a caring care home.
